My dentist and the hygienist and everybody I knew was telling me to plan to be on soft foods afterwards for 2 weeks and that I would be in a lot of pain afterwards and for a good while after the procedures (days if not weeks). Dr. tomaich recommended to me to take advil and tylenol together afterwards, so that's what I did. I was able to eat a steak for dinner the same night as the 3 teeth were extracted, and with the literal exception of the very first poke from the syringe of anesthetic, I didn't feel any discomfort for the entire procedure as well as the day and days following the procedure. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Tomaich, and have scheduled another extraction with bone graft next week and aren't concerned in the slightest. My normal dentist offered to have them do this extraction and after a short thinking it over after I left her office, I immediately called and said "hey, I know you guys said you could do this extraction and I am sure you guys would do a fine job, but I feel WAY MORE comfortable with Dr. Tomaich." This whole procedure thats supposed to be INCREDIBLY painful is pain-FREE with Dr. Tomaich. Can't recommend him enough. With Tomaich doing the extraction, I know that I will be good to resume ANY activity within a few hours of the procedure. I can't imagine you can get much better than that.

I had put it off for a little over a year and finally resigned to having it pulled and grafted for an implant. When I finally decided to have it pulled, I scheduled it out later in the year in order to get the most benefit from my insurance. I did have some out of pocket expense, and in the 8 or so months before the procedure, I had called Dr. Du's office to get some clarify on what monies would be due and when. The two or three times I talked to his staff, they were incredibly helpful and walked me through the process and timing with patience and clarity. A few days before the extraction, Dr Du's office called in scripts for relaxation during the procedure, pain post op and to stave off any infection. The scripts arrived a few days before my procedure so I would be ready to go on extraction day. I was completely blown away at how quick and easy Dr Du extracted the tooth, and I felt absolutely NOTHING during the procedure, and post op. I followed their directions and recommendations to keep the any swelling down and to keep from getting an infection and had zero issues. No pain or swelling whatsoever. I am now a little over a month post op and just waiting for the bone graft to do its thing to have the implant installed next year. I very highly recommend Dr. Du. He and his staff are top notch! You will be in good hands!

In my most recent check up Dr. Thomas brought to my attention I had scrapes on my teeth. What I thought was cement from a previous "orthodontist" turned out to be damage from using the wrong tool to remove the cement. This engraved lines into my teeth. If you looked close enough you could see scratches and if I ran my tongue over the top I could feel the divots of unevenness. It was so ugly. I was in shock and upset I thought my teeth were ruined until Dr. Thomas gave me the option to let him work on them to fix them up. I wish I had taken before and after photos because let me tell you.. my teeth are now super shiny and SO SMOOTH! When I run my tongue across them now it feels how it should have felt when I first got my braces off. There are no lines no scratches and they look amazing. The procedure was a gum/skin graft on my front teeth. Before the procedure, there were already billing issues. The office attempted to charge more than what my insurance (Delta Dental) indicated would be covered. This resulted in extensive back-and-forth to ensure insurance was applied correctly and billing codes were entered properly. We eventually agreed on a total, and I paid a deposit. On the day of the procedure, I paid the remaining balance we agreed to and signed for. I returned for two follow-up visits to confirm healing and had no further treatment with this office. One full year later, I received a bill claiming I owed $850, with no clear explanation. When I contacted the office, I was told the billing codes had been entered incorrectly and that I now owed the difference. Delta Dental confirmed the office had used the wrong billing codes and advised them to correct the submission so it would be covered. The office refused to fix the coding and instead threatened to send me to collections. After continued disputes, the balance was lowered to $450, though we still did not believe we owed anything. To avoid collections, we set up a payment plan ($50 down and $115 monthly). The balance was paid in full. Despite this, I was later sent to collections "by mistake" and told the office would correct it. Then, I received another bill for $115, which they claimed was due because they had "forgotten to include a payment." This office is disorganized, aggressive with billing, and unwilling to take accountability for their own errors. The constant changes to what was owed, threats of collections, and lack of transparency made this an extremely stressful experience. Proceed with caution. I would not recommend this office.

The level of care was rushed and the doctor didn't have enough time at certain moments. I can never get this enamel back. My teeth have to be bonded or repaired. At the time they didn't inform me of this mistake. Now I have to go to another dentist to get this issue fixed. Please please please think about going to an Orthodontist instead of a dentist that works with Invisalign. I regret my choice now and I'll have to live with my enamel damage for the rest of my life.
