Exceptional Oral Surgery Experience…read more I recently underwent oral surgery (tooth extraction and bone graft) at Tomaich, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. Prior surgery they presented me with details such as how to pay, what my insurance can cover (as an international student, this is very important for me) and nitty gritty of the procedure (giving me options every time; say what anesthesia I prefer). Shout out to Cora for being so helpful in the pre-surgery check up. The staff was incredibly professional and comforting throughout the entire process. I cannot thank enough the nurses and dental assistants who were basically holding my hand all throughout the surgery (I had a general anesthesia, vitals monitoring attached, oxygen on, comfortable bed). Dr. Tomaich demonstrated exceptional skill, ensuring a virtually painless worry-free procedure. The facility was clean, and safety measures were diligently followed. My recovery has been smooth, thanks to the detailed post-operative care instructions provided. They called me a week after to check up on me; both Dr. Tomaich and staff ensured that I am taken care of (explaining that sediments from bone graft is natural and that if ever I needed attention, I just need to seek out for their help via call). I paid a grand for everything but it was worth it. I highly recommend for anyone in need of top-notch oral surgery and care.

I had put it off for a little over a year and finally resigned to having it pulled and grafted for an implant. When I finally decided to have it pulled, I scheduled it out later in the year in order to get the most benefit from my insurance. I did have some out of pocket expense, and in the 8 or so months before the procedure, I had called Dr. Du's office to get some clarify on what monies would be due and when. The two or three times I talked to his staff, they were incredibly helpful and walked me through the process and timing with patience and clarity. A few days before the extraction, Dr Du's office called in scripts for relaxation during the procedure, pain post op and to stave off any infection. The scripts arrived a few days before my procedure so I would be ready to go on extraction day. I was completely blown away at how quick and easy Dr Du extracted the tooth, and I felt absolutely NOTHING during the procedure, and post op. I followed their directions and recommendations to keep the any swelling down and to keep from getting an infection and had zero issues. No pain or swelling whatsoever. I am now a little over a month post op and just waiting for the bone graft to do its thing to have the implant installed next year. I very highly recommend Dr. Du. He and his staff are top notch! You will be in good hands!

Then, I compared with other dental offices after the fact and they charge 3x the price for a cleaning! The only positive is the staff is nice. But not worth the higher price!

The procedure was a gum/skin graft on my front teeth. Before the procedure, there were already billing issues. The office attempted to charge more than what my insurance (Delta Dental) indicated would be covered. This resulted in extensive back-and-forth to ensure insurance was applied correctly and billing codes were entered properly. We eventually agreed on a total, and I paid a deposit. On the day of the procedure, I paid the remaining balance we agreed to and signed for. I returned for two follow-up visits to confirm healing and had no further treatment with this office. One full year later, I received a bill claiming I owed $850, with no clear explanation. When I contacted the office, I was told the billing codes had been entered incorrectly and that I now owed the difference. Delta Dental confirmed the office had used the wrong billing codes and advised them to correct the submission so it would be covered. The office refused to fix the coding and instead threatened to send me to collections. After continued disputes, the balance was lowered to $450, though we still did not believe we owed anything. To avoid collections, we set up a payment plan ($50 down and $115 monthly). The balance was paid in full. Despite this, I was later sent to collections "by mistake" and told the office would correct it. Then, I received another bill for $115, which they claimed was due because they had "forgotten to include a payment." This office is disorganized, aggressive with billing, and unwilling to take accountability for their own errors. The constant changes to what was owed, threats of collections, and lack of transparency made this an extremely stressful experience. Proceed with caution. I would not recommend this office.

All staff are so present and mindful, ensuring patients are comfortable and their needs are met at every point. There is zero judgement here about flossing habits or previously neglected dental care. Covid-19 protections are top-notch, with air purifiers in every room, and all staff are masked - most even double masked with N95s, surgical masks, and face shields. Please please please think about going to an Orthodontist instead of a dentist that works with Invisalign. I regret my choice now and I'll have to live with my enamel damage for the rest of my life.
