I bought a $7.00 threading Groupon here although I lived like 17 miles away! Since they were a Henna place, I figured that the person doing the threading would be from India and they usually do a really good job with threading and so I didn't really care if I had to drive far. Well, disappointment number one, parking was an issue since the shop is right on Mill Ave, a very busy street and not enough parking spaces. Disappointment number two: the entrance to the shop is on Fifth Ave, not Mill Ave but their address is Mill Ave??? Plus the number was not visibly posted. I only found them because I asked a pizza place on Mill for help. Disappointment number three: the person who did the threading (she was from India) was not friendly at all, she did an OK threading job, missing some spots on my brow. Meh... Came here on a whim after school one day after realizing that my eyebrows were in desperate need of some maintenance. Sonal threaded my eyebrows, and she did a great job. And it was super inexpensive! All around, it was a great experience. I would recommend calling ahead to see if anyone is available to thread your eyebrows before you go in. I walked in and there was a customer getting a henna tattoo done. Since there was only one person working, I had to wait 20 minutes or so for her to finish the tattoo before she could do my eyebrows. If you are looking for a beautiful authentic piece of wearable art work this is the place to go. There actual henna paste is made right in the shop. 100% natural chemical free! Unlike other places where they add chemicals to change the color, and make it so it lasts longer. Prices are great I get my eyebrows threaded all of the time. I bought an unlimited threading for 6 months with Deal Chicken for only $40. Insane. I knew Mill Ave would be tough to park but totally worth the 50 cents to pay a meter 50ft away. I was unimpressed the first few times I came here. The girl seemed inexperienced and my eyebrows looked...unfinished :-/ two times I was lucky to get a more experienced threader. After reading other reviews I'm pretty sure it was the owner who performed the service as she didn't have the best customer service. 3 stars for the inexperienced person who I seem to always end up with. read more

The best place to get your facial hair threaded! I get my eyebrows and upper lip done for only $16 + tip! Whereas European wax center would charge me about $30. Plus they put aloe vera on afterwards. read more

I really enjoyed the experience I had at the shop. I let Neelam free hand the design that went up my hand onto my arm. She finished the design within 15 minutes. It was so nice hanging with her and her friend in the shop. Both ladies were also great to chat with. I took my 6 year-old daughter with me and they treated her great! My daughter got a design on her hands and while she waited for me one of the ladies let her play with the old henna tubes teaching her how to make simple designs. We loved it and our henna looked great for just over a week. I'll definitely be going back. read more

Scammed. Payed $15 for a rose quartz palm stone and found ones online for way less. Bought lavender and rose buds for $20 (combined, each $10) and found ones double in quantity for $5. Don't buy from here, if you are you most likely aren't experienced with crystals. I payed $30 for 5 crystals FIVE. And not to mention they were SMALL! I got an elephant henna tattoo here and it was fast and pretty good. Try to go when it is not as crowded as there might be only one artist at hand doing these, so you might want to book ahead of time. I bought the Groupon for a $7 eyebrow threading. I've never done it before, but at that price I knew I had to try it. The shop itself is tiny. It is filled with beautiful bags and jewelry. The threading itself was very quick. After it was over, I was extremely pleased that she was able to tame my unruly eyebrows. On the down side, I wished for friendlier service. The owner (she never told me her name) didn't talk to me about how I wanted my brows to look. In fact, she didn't really say much to me at all. That being said, I'm so pleased with the result of my eyebrows that I might be back. Also, since it's along Mill Ave., do know that parking will be a hassle. read more
