It wasted me two days waiting for him to respond. Be courteous to your client and just say you won't do it when you can't. Update: Lied about I wanted to pay him $75 only. He quoted $275 total for several repairs flat rate. I did offer him $50 extra for waiting time. He asked for $200 after I paid for the material, which I paid instantly. Then he claimed AFTER i posted the review saying he is waiting for an extra of $50. I thought $50 included in that $200 because the total original was $275 only flat, and he only finished one part of the job, and there are other remaining. Regardless what Mr. Burton is claiming, the fact is he is terrible at communicating the truth. You should not say "I am sorry Sean, I will come on Monday" if you did not plan to continue the job. Whatever you were not happy with, just say it out like a gentleman. I compensated you properly and have no regret. My other quote was only $100 for replacing the toilet, and I paid you $200, double the other quote, still gave you two days to follow up the job AFTER you apologized for not responding, then changed your mind and dropped the ball. Dropping the ball is totally okay, just say: "Sorry, i won't be able to help you", instead you are hiding behind your phone just ignoring the message, and chose to respond after posting the review. Bottom Line for customers: Be prepared to waste your time to start a project with him, because if he changed his mind, he will blaim it on you, and leave you hanging dry and high... Reducing my rating from 3 to 2.

The following week, he called to advise he had the part and soon arrived and fixed up our new stove. Kevin knows his stuff and made it look easy. I was afraid we had received a lemon. Luckily, some things were disconnected and a wrong orifice used. He was aware of these gotchas and now we love our new red stove. The charge for them to simply check and see if our tank was full was only $50 less than it cost us to have another company come out, uncover the tanks, pump both tanks, clear the blockage in the main line AND cover the tanks back up. I will give them credit for their pleasant telephone skills and for not charging us to show up and tell us that we should call someone else.
