I have plans to insulate the house (it has NONE) so called CL to check the attic if it still had any of the original pipes in the house. Of course it did! CL had replaced piping back during the freeze of 2021. It did so made plans to re-pipe. It did but I had one caveat: I did NOT want the interior walls cut into, since CL doesn't repair drywall or tile. So, Steve and I made a plan that the piping and insulation around it would be done on the outside walls. They hid the new piping that would've been on the front of the house to the side, the rest was done either on the back of the house or in the garage and moved the 2 yard faucets in such a way that it is actually easier for this old lady to use! They had to finish up the next day because it started raining on them! I am THRILLED with what they did, and now I don't have to worry about frozen pipes & the black insulation actually matches the black trim on the white house! I can now get the attic insulation w/out concern for the insulation getting & having to start over!! MANY kudos to Steve & his team for a GREAT JOB!!!!

The Moen posit temp cartridge went out on my shower, and I called Lee Clayton to replace.they had been out to clear sewer line(which I had to call multiple times.) on 13 February.19 the cartridge went out I cualled they suggested I replace the valve and offered nothing other than calling the manufacturer. I hired a different plumber when he removed the cartridge it was very corroded, and falling apart. The only 2 possible explanations are it was a knock-off or it had been used before. I called Lee Clayton plumbing spoke with Devon, and he again offered no solutions and suggested replacing the valve. I offered to send photos of the cartridge but Devon insisted that the problem was on my end. -Leann T. I did call Devon said there was a 30 day warranty, that I could call Moen for a replacement cartridge , then the only charge would be labour.

The Carl Skelly of Skelly Plumbing was called out to install a shower trim set including valve and…read morehand sprayer. When he arrived I was told that no credit for the $175.00 trip charge would be given toward the cost of doing the work. In other words, I would owe them for the trip charge even if I elected to do the work. This is very unusual from any other service vendor I have ever used. They always remove the trip charge if the work is done. Now that I was into them for the excessive trip charge, I was told that the installation of the shower trim would be almost $1.000.00 and that did not include the trim parts which I already owned. I should have sent him on his way and cut my losses but I regretfully allowed him to do the work. After he finished the water pressure was very poor and he told me that the parts might be defective and to call Moen the manufacturer. Not wanting to ever see Carl Skelly again, I called another plumber out to take a look at the problem. He completely disassembled the shower trim and removed 3 flow restrictors and screens (which I asked Skelly to remove) and put it all back together. The water pressure is better than ever now. Skelly Plumbing is a ripoff and takes advantage of their customers by charging an excessive non refundable trip charge. The work was unsatisfactory and this "expert" plumber didn't even know how to remove the flow restrictors to allow useable water flow volume. Buyer beware!!!

We sought out 2 other businesses to select and we can't say enough about the guy who came to home to present himself. If you want business, act like you care. He did a great job! The other battle is reading reviews to match your selection. We had a good vibe with the gentleman who came to present the business. After making the selection, it was easy to select days for the work to begin. They were flexible and upfront what to expect. A professional folder was given and discussed. We were informed the project would take 1-3 days. The information was clearly outlined what to expect, what needed to be done before the work started and a contact number to call if there were any questions or concerns. So far so good right? It gets better. The day the workers arrived, they did a fantastic job covering our furniture with heavy plastic, laying out coverings for the pathway walking on, and covered all working areas as much as they could. We did not do any of these things... so glad! Ceiling dust everywhere... which is why you need to cover it everything ! They helped do the job. We had about 4 working men and the job was done as expected! Thank goodness! Highly recommend! If you ever see a bad review, then I'll love to send you to the point of contact we recommend! No inspection, no supervisor involvement, not the actual installers as represented, didn't mention that I would have to prep my shiplap under the wallboard prior to patching. Salesman recommended I not worry about the pipe between the foundation and water meter, (guess where the rusted pipes were?). My fault though, always beware of a service company that has a salesman to give the pitch.
