We sought out 2 other businesses to select and we can't say enough about the guy who came to home to present himself. If you want business, act like you care. He did a great job! The other battle is reading reviews to match your selection. We had a good vibe with the gentleman who came to present the business. After making the selection, it was easy to select days for the work to begin. They were flexible and upfront what to expect. A professional folder was given and discussed. We were informed the project would take 1-3 days. The information was clearly outlined what to expect, what needed to be done before the work started and a contact number to call if there were any questions or concerns. So far so good right? It gets better. The day the workers arrived, they did a fantastic job covering our furniture with heavy plastic, laying out coverings for the pathway walking on, and covered all working areas as much as they could. We did not do any of these things... so glad! Ceiling dust everywhere... which is why you need to cover it everything ! They helped do the job. No inspection, no supervisor involvement, not the actual installers as represented, didn't mention that I would have to prep my shiplap under the wallboard prior to patching. Salesman recommended I not worry about the pipe between the foundation and water meter, (guess where the rusted pipes were?). My fault though, always beware of a service company that has a salesman to give the pitch. read more

They were AMAZING!!! HIGHLY recommend if you need a total repipe!! From beginning to end, very professional and responsive. Lee made sure to attend to all of my concerns. Down time and renovation was minimized. What was above and beyond was during initial consultation, we had discussed how the dishwasher was to be removed to repipe. I bought a new dishwasher in preparation. But then it didn't end up being removed at all and they STILL honored installing it! Anyone that has complaints of things not to their standard, my question to you is: did you ever bring it up to the person in charge? They fixed EVERYTHING at the final walk through. And not that cheaper is better, but they were also up to 8,000 cheaper than other contractors I looked at. That, and they included MORE. Them patching the holes after and texturizing sold it for me. Meanwhile the other crew members got their tools and material out and started work promptly. They were well disciplined with a strong, cohesive, confident work effort. These are attributes that you look for in work crews that you contract sometimes but rarely get. Our crew was very personable and kept us informed on what they were doing. When the repiping was done they pressure tested the entire system then walked me through the house for my approval of plumbing functionality. The work detail that kicked the job off now served as a checklist to ensure everything was done and to my satisfaction. The following day the sheetrock crew arrived on time and followed the work blueprint of the piping crew from the day before complete with work detail. They arrived on time on the day of our appointment, introduced themselves and got with the program plus they kept me informed of their progress. After two pipe breaks of the old galvanized water lines in our attic, and the forecast of extreme cold approaching South Texas, I contacted Repipe Specialists. I heard them advertised on 93Q, a radio station here in Houston. They were very responsive and sent a rep out almost immediately to assess our situation. Their price for a "whole house repipe" was about half of a previous price given to us by a large Houston plumbing company. Repipe Specialists had a crew at my home on Saturday, the day before the extreme cold arrived. The crew was very nice, professional and obviously knew their stuff. The repiping part of our job was completed in one day. Drywall repair was done as soon as they could safely get crews back on the road after the snow and ice. The crew of Mathew, Scott, and Cole was very communicative with me of their arrival, explaining what needed to be done, and cleaning up after themselves. Great crew they got started late the first day, finished quickly the next day and cleaned everything up good. They wore masks and foot covers when they were in the house . The sheetrock repair crew went out of their way to come on Labor day. All the holes were patched and textured ready for paint before they left. They also observed the COVID 19 guidelines. We repiped our house in Austin. Builder had installed C-PVC pipes which are prone to failure. Repipe Specialists gave a fair estimate of Pex piping, showed up on time and completed all of the work on time and with high quality. No issues at all. They are masters of repiping. After patching numerous leaks over the years due to cheap, Chinese made copper pipe being used when the house was built in the'80s, we finally decided to do a whole house repipe. The estimator for Repipe Specialists came out on Monday, walked the house and drew up the estimate. The price was right in the ballpark of my expectations and the job was scheduled for the following Thursday. The crew showed up on time, four workers, set to work and were done by three o'clock. A couple issues were uncovered when the walls were opened up, they showed me what was happening and all was resolved. The sheet rock workers came out the next morning and patched everything up. I called Re-pipe Specialists due to the fact my home was built in 1962 and my old copper piping runs under the slab and I was starting to have some fairly major issues. They sent an estimator out and he did a great job of explaining the process and the products that would be used. Next the team showed up exactly when they said they would and ran all the new piping through my attic and down the walls. They had to cut some minor sheet rock in places but their patch crew came in afterward and patched it all up. My water pressure is up, my water flow has improved. We spoke with four different repipe companies and my husband felt Repipe Specialists offered the most professional job. I preferred to go with another company; however, I listened to his valid points and went against my gut instinct. This was a mistake, never again! The work was subcontracted out to a plumbing company (Courtesy Plumbing), which I was not told until the day before they came, as this was definitely NOT my preference. In retrospect, my husband believes he should have taken off work to be our own general contractor and supervise the entire install. As costly as it was for us to repipe the house, we did not even get close to the professional work my husband expected. My expectations were lower and even those have not been met. We are going on almost 3 months (started February 18, 2020) and still waiting on the subcontracted repipe crew to come back AGAIN for more repairs. In fairness, when they called to come again (first week in April 2020) I requested they come at another time. However, I was told, and I quote, "YOU ARE NOT A PRIORITY BECAUSE YOU DON'T HAVE A LEAK." True, we do not have a leak, but the pipes in the wall and ceiling are banging so hard and loud that I am concerned something will break causing a catastrophic amount of damage. It appears connected to a fixture they installed. In maintaining brevity for this review, the additional issues are rather numerous to list, a few include: lack of strapping, knocking a light fixture loose, attaching the piping to multiple random loose boards in the attic, not securing the pipe on the water heater, being in a rush and haphazardly cutting through my solid wood paneling, leaving cigarette butts on our driveway, my husband removing foam cans from wall before drywall, etc. In the previous times they have come back they have repaired most of what is on the list. Their drywall team did an amazing job with patch and texture and they came back once for a few minor issues. read more
