Recently, I learned that Mini Cooper is going to stop production of real manual transmission cars ( clutch on the floor, 6 speed, not those paddle shifter things). Devastated, I decided to take action, despite already owning a 2009 two door hardtop S, 6 speed manual...my baby. Mine is in excellent condition and has extremely low miles ( my commute to work has averaged 3 miles for the past 15 years). I've been wanting a 4 door hardtop S, 6 speed, but having an awesome car already, I'd not changed out. Due to the news, I notified my friendly staff at Hendrick BMW on independence Bv that I'd like to find one in the Resolute edition. Prices have gone up too much, so minus 1 star for that. JEFF SHINN has been my salesman for 3.5 cars ( long ago, BMW guys weren't allowed to sell Minis....BYRAN ARMBRYSTER sold me my 2 door Mini in 2009 when Jeff passed me to him , a newbie at the time). Still friends to this day with all of these folks! Jeff mainly sells BMWs, so FORREST HOLSTON stepped up to help me find the exact Mini Resolute I wanted. A.J SNYDER also assisted at a supervisory level since the car was produced, but not yet in country. I was still trying to confirm Mini's decision to stop production of real manuals after 2024, so I did not act immediately. However, once I did confirm, I contacted the crew and said.. "GO get our girl!" (**SEX AND THE CITY reference intended...if you know, ya know!) . The car had landed at a non Hendrick dealership in Raleigh with an interested party. I pre-qualified for my loan, and JEFF, FORREST AJ, and management staff worked their magic. Tuesday after Christmas, after my shift, I was at the dealership in a heavy, dark downpour, picking up my new car. SHARATH NAIR has assisted me with my finance and warranty needs. He understands my usage, needs and what I want for my cars. Super smart guy with the #s . Be prepared to spend 3 to 5 k on warranties, but only buy what works for your needs...it's important. SHARATH does not push anything on you. I will hate to sell my 2009, but I suppose I should. To a good home only. He has been an awesome car. I'm getting to know the Resolute , which is quite a bit different ( not better or worse) than my original. I appreciate the way JEFF , FORREST AJ , and SHARATH everyone at Hendrick, assist me and work with my intense po po schedule. I feel so lucky and blessed! Motor on my friends! read more

Do you want to feel good after a car search? Do you want to feel heard and not pressured when car buying? Go to Hendrick Mini and find Robert Mann. He made me feel comfortable to tell him how I felt about the different cars, and what I wanted in a car. I did not feel judged or like I was being too picky. If you want a good experience, go here and work with Robert Mann. You won't regret it! read more

We arranged to look at a 2025 Mini Countryman with Brian Barrack last Saturday. We had not made up our minds between a few different vehicles (Volvo, Land Rover, BMW, Audi) but working with Brian really changed all of that for us. He quickly established a trust bridge between us and with a very non-assuming way made us realize the Mini was the right choice. Brian was the right choice and someone we can count on long after the sale. He is a very honest person and the dealership is made up of all the same people...honest and extremely helpful. We will always buy from Hendrick MINI (Brian)! read more

Great Dealership. After a misunderstanding that caused me to lose a great deal I was recently contacted by Hout Ly (Manager) at Hendrick Mini. We had a good conversation and realized it was simply a misunderstanding. I was able to place an order for a Mini to be built exactly as I wanted. Unfortunately I will wait a few months but thanks to Hout calling me my wife will eventually get the exact car she wants. Hout even made sure I got a great deal. Big thanks to Hout and Cliff for helping me. I know I can be difficult but I definitely recommend Hendrick Mini for all sales and service needs. read more

I don't believe there is enough I can say positive about the guys that worked with me to find the perfect car for my daughter. Sean Pires, Nick Hill and James Casello, all went above and beyond to provide exceptional service, sales and compassion regarding my purchase. I would definitely recommend this group when considering a BMW or Mini Cooper. I flew in from Colorado and chose to continue working with these guys, given their approach. Once the deal was final, drove the back to Colorado and handed the keys to my daughter for her 16th birthday. Not one of these guys waivered once, all focused on the customer. read more

I love Hendrick MINI and the fun events! Forrest in sales is awesome. The service team is always awesome as well.

Thank you Jeff Shinn for helping me find my first electric Mini. She's beautiful and you made the process so easy.

We went on Saturday morning to surprise our mom with a new Mini Coop for an early Anniversary gift and we had the pleasure to work with Brian Barrack. He was awesome , friendly, transparent and so patient with us. He made us feel comfortable in our decision making and saw the process through from end to end. Throughly enjoyed doing business with Brian and glad that our family is apart of the Mini Coop Family! If you're in the Charlotte area looking to buy a Mini Coop check out Brian. read more

I went to test a few different mini coopers and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The inventory this dealership has was unmatchable. Jacob Tanas was the individual that helped me during my visit. He was super easy to get along with and was extremely knowledgeable about cars. Although I didn't purchase this visit, when I am ready I won't hesitate to come back and have Jacob help me again. read more

My husband and I could not be happier with the Mini Hendrick Service Department and in particular our Mini advisor Zach Newhouse. The communication, the level of service, and overall experience is great. Zach puts effort to make sure you are happy with the service performed on your Mini. All I can say it WOW! My brother invited me on his car buying journey, and after some unsuccessful attempts, we finally met Joey L. Joey is an absolute gem of a car salesman! His deep knowledge of the vehicles, combined with a friendly and patient approach, made the car-buying experience incredibly smooth. Joey took the time to understand our preferences and guided us to the perfect choice. His professionalism and dedication to customer satisfaction shine through in every interaction. I came in today to purchase a vehicle and had an amazing experience. I was greeted by Forrest that had a great attitude and personality from the very start of the experience. Thank you for promptly servicing my mini and giving great customer service, Casey McGuire.

Sleezy. Disingenuous. Sloppy. Dismissive. These are words coming from a NEW YORKER. Simple recount...after moving here 7 days ago, my husband and I went in to get a car. We stated, very clearly, the model, $ we'd be putting down and what we could MAX afford for our monthly payments. We did not care if it was a lease or a purchase, just as long as the above 3 criteria were met. They tried to trick us the first visit and say the car was ok until we got to signing where the price was way off. They said for us to look at the website and then we'd reconvene. Sent them models in our range from their site. Called us, said those cars were available and when could we come in for a test drive. Got there, same cars from before, new guy who had no clue what we wanted, (previous guy was walking around joking with his buddies, until we flagged him down, and asked him wtf was going on) and then new guy comes back with no cars! AND TO TOP IT OFF EVERYONE AT HENDRICKS AUTOMOTIVE KNOWS THE WEBSITE IS INACCURATE AND MISLEADING. BBB! read more

I am a BMW driver for life. My motto: It's not a car, it's a machine. I knew exactly what I wanted when I went to Hendrick because I was a past client in the service department. I've only had positive experiences at Hendrick. John Kemp is my service adviser. He is always accommodating and helpful with my impromptu schedule needs. So, when it was time for me to purchase a new machine I went to Hendrick on Independence. Ben Parker greeted me with a smile, showed me my options, walk me through the sale and it was done! He has kept in touch with me to make sure I'm still a happy BMW owner. read more

I just purchased a Mini from Hendricks Mini. It was by far the most pleasant car buying experience that I have ever had. I knew from the moment the I entered the dealership, there was a difference. I have the same feeling when I go into Trader Joes, The Fresh Market or Whole Foods. I believe this feeling is that the employees are genuinely happy to be there. I recommend that you purchase your next vehicle from Hendricks and make sure you ask for Logan. Logan was very attentive during the transaction, and remains just a text or call away if I have any questions. Logan Britt is awesome!!! read more

I have been a mini customer here since 2018, always had a great experience. Recently my car was rear ended and totaled. Forrest helped me find a new car, at a great price. I came to Hendrick Mini with concerns about my timing chain tensioner, they did diagnostics and said it was fine but I had 3 oil leaks, a $2100 repair. After purchasing the belt tensioner myself and having a well reputable mechanic in Lake Norman take a look for a second opinion we we're shocked to find that Hendrick had not put the tensioner back in tight, we could unscrew with our fingers, very displeased. Car leaked oil due to this not being done properly. Anywho had properly repaired for $1100, with a 24,000 mile warranty at MB Mercedes BMW in Huntersville, NC. Now runs like new, makes me wonder if this was done to create revenue so I'd come back for another repair. Needless to say I won't go back due to this shady stuff and double the price to repair. read more

Eric Snyder is the best service rep. Always ask for him my recommendation!!

I purchased a car here in November of 2015 and had all of my service performed at the dealer and was treated exceptionally well by Dana. Also, I have dealt with Todd (Manager) and Armon (Finance) after my purchase and they have been receptive and willing to go the extra mile to help me with my additional requests. There were a few bumps in the road, but they were always able to help me and expedited things when they could. I wouldn't hesitate to send any of my friends here to purchase a car and who knows, there could be another Mini coming back to the household in just a couple of years! Thanks Todd and Armon for always hearing me out. read more

I bought a new MINI Cooper S Hardtop here in 2009. I liked the cool, offbeat, closeknit vibe the store and brand encouraged. The car was not a great car, but I was in love with driving it, and put a lot of money into maintaining it. I had virtually all of the maintenance and repair work done at this store for seven years. Even though the brand and local store had evolved to suit a more mainstream clientele, in 2017 I traded the 2009 S for a certified preowned 2015 S. Again, I had all service performed at the MINI store. It's my fault that I did not ask about the repair record on the 2015 MINI before purchasing it. It is also my failure for believing I could trust an establishment where I had faithfully traded for seven years to level with me. I did not ask and they did not tell. So, I experienced some difficulties with the clutch over time and eventually took the car back to the dealership. They kept it several days and then called to advise they had to replace the engine, under warranty. I was told the problem was related to a faulty crank shaft bearing. The problem had been worked on at about 5000 miles, well before I bought the car. After two or three weeks they returned my car, and that was that, at least a far as they were concerned. Legally, they met their obligation. Ethically, I'm not so sure. They did not have to inform me that the car had undergone a significant engine repair. But they could have, and I argue, they should have, especially to a long-term, loyal customer. If they had fully disclosed, I would not have bought the car. As my previous MINI required continuous and significant repairs throughout the time I owned it, I did not want to keep the 2015 outside of warranty, especially when I was told by an employee the engine replacement would have cost me about $8000.00 outside of warranty. In any event, I traded for another brand at another dealership as I am done with this dealership and with the MINI brand. BTW, the experience at MINI actually deserves less than one star! read more

After another troublesome time with my old 2007 MINI, her engine died. So, Hendrick MINI was there to help me. They really went over the top this time. I got a temporary Cooper S for the couple of days my car was in the shop and then, three days later, when they found out the engine was busted, they helped me in trying to decide what to do. After punching the numbers, it wasn't going to be worth replacing the engine so Bryan A (one of the Motoring Advisors) helped appraise my MINI and put together numbers so I could afford to purchase a new one. Everyone at MINI was incredibly helpful. The manager was so helpful and did everything he could to keep my payment in the affordable range and guide me to making the right choice on down payments/insurances. I truly felt like they cared more about me than securing a sale or shoving me out the door. And on top of EXCELLENT service at an EXCELLENT location, my 2011 MINI Cooper S is such a fantastic car. Zippy, easy to park, stylish and gas efficient. I highly recommend them ;) read more

I bought my Mini Cooper S from Hendrickson Mini in December/07. t was one of the best car-purchasig experiences I had, and the service team at Hendrickson has been nothing but fantastic for me so far. Back in aught six before everybody and their brother drove one of the BMW restyled MINI Coopers, I decided to trade in the my gas guzzling Xterra for a sporty Cooper S. Sidenote: There are seriously three Coopers in my neighborhood with the exact same color scheme as mine. So much for individuality. But Dana Fredrickson (then a sales rep, now service manager) and the rest of the sales staff did what they had to do to get me into my Coop. Since then, their service group has been very helpful and great at keeping me apprised of what is going on under the bonnet. Maintenance has been a breeze and I have willingly sent several of my friends over to them to start their own happy motoring experience. read more

When I first purchased my car I would have given them one star. I actually use to tell people when they asked about my car that I would recommend a Mini to anyone except people who lived in the Charlotte Area because I hated Hendrick Mini. At one point they had a company event and forgot about my car and kept it for 2 days just because I needed a light bulb changed. I am telling you all of this because they have really turned things around in my mind because of their service department. I get basically everything done there. The last 2 years the service has been impecable. - The speed for which they complete my work is in half. I can now schedule an apt basically when ever I need to as opposed to waiting 2 weeks like before. - They offer great service discounts via their newsletter (email) and on their website. With this coupons I'm paying the same as anywhere else for people who actually know and understand my car. - They always tell me up front what the computer says needs to be done, and what they costs are. Even if somethign comes up they always inform me of the costs and how long things should take. - As an added bonus the waiting room is comfortable. Wi-fi is now password protected and always works perfectly. They have a firdge with drinks and coffee always available. I'm happy to say I can now recommend everyone in Charlotte to not only purchase a Mini but to get your car serviced at Hendrick Mini. read more

Working with Chris Land was by far the most exceptional sales experience I have had at a car dealership. From the first day when I wandered in not knowing anything about MINIs, to the time I picked up my brand new car, he was attentive, helpful, kind, understanding, and most of all he treated me like a good friend. He was not condescending or pushy, and did not seem like the kind of person who was just in it to make a sale - he really wanted to make the customer happy. You could really tell he loved MINIs, and had a passion for the fun of driving these cool cars. He was well informed with all the stats, features, and history of the car, and did a lot of educating me on all things MINI. He was patient, and we test drove several cars to see what I liked the best. He did a great job listening to what I was looking for, and helped guide me into the perfect car. He also did a phenomenal job following-up, and has added a personal touch throughout the experience. I cannot say enough great things about Chris! MINI Hendrick's goal should be to have lots of "Chris's" with that same passion, friendliness, and general enthusiasm for the brand and the culture of MINI so that all their customers will get this kind of top-notch experience. He should definitely get a big bonus or promotion or something -- and if you ever need any customers to vouch for him, I will volunteer! To reiterate, working with Chris and the great staff at MINI Hendrick was a phenomenal experience. It is very much breaking the mold of the awful experience that I thought buying a car had to be. Over the course of my several visits, everyone was nice, enthusiastic, and it is just a cool place to spend some time! Loved the snacks, cool atmosphere, gift shop, and fun attitude. I love the car, and I enjoyed my experience, and I am already looking forward to my next MINI somewhere down the road! read more

I've just purchased my first Mini, and my wife is awaiting the arrival of her 2nd. Our advisor was Bryan, and we test drove almost every Mini model availble. I literally didn't have a yelp until I came to Hendrick MINI. 1 word, awesome. Every aspect. From the moment I walked in I felt safe, and genuinely cared about. My experience started easily on the phone making an appointment for a check engine light. When I came in Eric, my service advisor made me feel right at home. They checked out what was wrong with my MINI and then went the extra step to bring me out to Justin (I think that was his name- also very very nice) and physically show me what was wrong with the car. Most times you hear horror stories about nothing actually being wrong and being charged thousands to "fix" nothing. Being a female you always feel like they're out to get you because some of us (I know me at least) have not a clue how engines work. This was not the case at all at Hendrick MINI. I had quite a bit of work to be done but the waiting room was comfortable, there were free beverages and snacks and I literally played Mario Cart while I waited. It doesn't get much better then this. All of the other staff I came in contact with was extremely sweet and warm. Although I hope my current MINI lasts forever this would be the first place I'd come to when buying another. Thank you to all of the staff to making my experience wonderful! read more

The folks at Hendrick Mini are the best! Dana and the service crew are always on point! We actually look forward to the visit as we know both our Mini and ourselves will be treated well. Last visit I had the armrest installed. We arrived a little early. Dana checked us in , gave us a loaner and sent us on our way to see some sights while our Roadster was having the installation done. We returned and it was ready and waiting! Love the attention we and our car get everytime we drop by! If you own a Mini, have it serviced here. I love this place. They're always on point with my Sasha (aka Mini Countryman) I can just send an email to Josh Richardson and I know things will be taken care off. A July 2016 internet search showed a 2013 Certified MINI Coupe in excellent condition at Hendrick MINI, Charlotte. We called a day ahead and scheduled a test drive with plans to purchase and drive the car home. My research led me to believe a Certified MINI was the cream of the crop, the best of the best. In this case 'Certified' must have been a typo. We have since purchased a certified MINI and it is the best of the best...absolutely flawless, mechanically and cosmetically. Using Kelly Blue Book guidelines, this car was not in excellent condition. KBB states "Excellent is 3% of cars, looks new and is in excellent mechanical condition". Mechanically the car seemed excellent but the looks were definitely not 'new'. KBB states Very Good condition is "23% of cars, has minor cosmetic defects and is in excellent mechanical condition". This car had several 'minor cosmetic defects", but there was more. A Good condition car, according to KBB IS 54% of cars, has some repairable cosmetic defects and is free of major mechanical problems. This particular car had cosmetic damage that needed repair, namely a significant inch long dent on the driver's door. The windshield had been peppered with gravel and in several spots you could feel the nicks with your fingernail. Hendrick MINI advertised this Certified Excellent Condition car that when we saw it, was NOT as advertised. Had the car been accurately listed, we would not have spent half a day traveling and the dealership would not be getting YELPED. read more

These people have treated me so well I feel compelled to write this. The deal was done over the phone and through email (very convenient). I live out of town so the paid for a rental car for me to drive to Charlotte to pick up the car. I was in and out in less than 90 minutes. They honored the letter of the deal and beyond. Once I had the car home I had a very, VERY small issue. Nit picky really. But they did not see it that way. They were amazing.
