After spending several days trying to get a highly rated garage door company to come out and look…read moreat my door, I contacted AJ's Overhead Doors. I wish I had called them first. They responded quickly and had someone at my house within about an hour. I thought the torsion springs on my large, heavy garage door needed adjustment. After inspecting the door, the technician explained that the springs were actually fine and that adding more tension could cause the opener to have difficulty closing the door completely. What impressed me most was his honesty. I was fully prepared to pay for a spring adjustment, and he could easily have performed work that wasn't necessary and charged me for it. Instead, he told me the door was fine, lubricated it, and gave me some maintenance advice. When I asked what I owed him for coming out, he initially refused to take anything. I finally convinced him to accept a modest amount for his time, and sent him on his way with some cash and a few tomatoes from my garden. After having so much trouble just getting another company to respond, the difference was night and day. AJ's responded, showed up quickly, gave me an honest assessment, and didn't try to sell me work I didn't need. AJ's will be my first call the next time I need garage door service. Highly recommended.

He wanted me to wait a few days to see if the door was working properly and didn't want to take any money before knowing if the problem was completely solved. I was shocked! Nearly every repairman I've had in my home has found some way to cheat me. I VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND AJ'S. They are more concerned about getting it right than getting a dollar. If you ever have a problem with your garage doors, you can't go wrong with AJ's. Teo was wonderful. I pray that God will prosper the work of his hand. Professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and punctual. Teo is the best!!!!! Thank the Lord for people with integrity!!!!

Wound up stumbling into Fox Home Center while checking out different places. Honestly, Fox Home Center is probably not the best place to go if you are looking for the cheapest option. But, if you want quality items and, at least from what I experienced, a near "one stop shop" with good customer service, I would recommend Fox Home Center. Mark was great to work with. He answered all my questions and was honest with me. The vanity I originally wanted, he explained, would not arrive in time for our project. So, he helped me find a great alternative. We wound up buying a "display" mirror for a significant discount and we love it. Mark made sure the display was not damaged (a real challenge as this was a big mirror) with shipping. Something that made me trust Mark- to make sure I wasn't getting ripped off, on my own, I went to manufacturer (Moen) website. Turns out Mark was offering me the Moen "sale price", the lowest price that Moen would give if you worked with them directly. That made me feel pretty good, as I had not even asked Mark to give me a discount. When I asked to ship all this stuff to my house, there was no problem or fee. He kept it all together for me at the store as each time arrived, making it easy to keep it together. All items arrived and installed as described. To really top off the good customer service - the Toliet we ordered wouldn't fit (not Mark fault, because Contractors didn't measure until end of project). But, Mark took the Toliet back without hesitation and gave me a full refund. I plan on purchasing from them again in the future, and I am happy to support a local business.

Paul was quick to respond, had reasonable rates (especially for same-day service), showed up exactly when he said he would, and knocked the job out fast and efficiently. All the do- it- yourself usual fixes failed. I called Robert Garage Door. The woman who answered the call explained the process, indicated there was no cost for an evaluation and gave me window time frames that a technician would be available. I asked for an evaluation. Within that given time frame, a technician, Nick, called to advise me that he would be arriving in 15 minutes. Nick was personable and professional. He explained the issue that was occurring with my garage door, recommended a solution, and advised me of the cost of the solution. In response to my question, he gave me an estimate of the time required to complete the repairs. In spite of the fact that Nick was working in a hot garage on a day when the heat index was over 100 degrees, he stayed focused and completed the job with his time estimate and for the fee quoted. I respect that man's tenacity and work ethic. Nick was also good at answering my questions about maintaining my garage door. There is nothing good about having a garage door that malfunctions. But once my garage door was broken, dealing with the personnel at Robert's Garage Doors made getting back to normal life as easy as possible. Based on my experience today, I highly recommend this company.

Our condo building needed a new commercial door. We wanted one with no maintenance and a code lock. I called numerous door businesses. I had appointments with several.
