The phone was answered by a VERY courteous lady who said she could have someone out in under four hours! She gave me a good idea of the charges if it was what it appeared to be (broken pulley cable). I was thrilled and booked the appointment. A very kind and professional young man called me a bit earlier than expected and said he was on his way. He arrived and was considerate of our home. He diagnosed the problem in under one minute and said it would take him the minimum billable time to fix. He also found a broken hinge and I said to fix it and he lubricated the tracks. He fixed everything flawlessly and even happily answered the questions I had about a replacement door opener. The bill was LESS than expected! This was beyond optimal for an unexpected repair. I could not be happier.

We declined to have the work done immediately to get other estimates and they tried charging a $45 service fee (for a warranty check). They then threatened to place a lien if we did not pay the $45. Actually insane thing to threaten, over $45 when we have paid them nearly $2,000 for work over the past year. In summary, their prices are high, their warranty is sad (most reputable garage door companies will give 1 year minimum) and their business practices are unethical and unprofessional.

A few years back, my wife and I decided that we were going to remove our old garage, fence, pool…read moreand deck and put up a custom 4 car garage. After speaking with a handful of contractors and receiving outrageous estimates, my wife and I almost gave up on this idea as we felt we were being taken advantage of due to our age. After speaking with my wife, we decided to give one more contractor a shot. Luckily, we had the pleasure of working with Shannon from Georges Garages. During our first consultation, Shannon (Georges Garages) spent a lot of time walking us through the process, going through the quality of materials that Georges used, the things to be aware of when selecting a contractor and in my opinion was more concerned about making sure we were going to end up with a quality result than gaining our business. Shannon understood the needs of our custom project | budget and did not try to take advantage of us. She instead demonstrated exceptional capabilities and understanding of our project, paid attention to every detail, and took the time to give us advice when my wife and I were at an impasse with certain custom elements. Needless to say, we were immediately impressed and comfortable working with Georges and decided to move forward. From demo to completion, Georges was superb. More specifically, they managed every element of the project (permits, material delivery, scheduling) and contacted us on multiple occasions just to see "how things are going," and to ensure our needs were met. Furthermore, everyone involved in the project was outstanding results-oriented individuals who demonstrated the highest levels of integrity and creativity while always maintaining a remarkably positive 'can-do' attitude. I strongly recommend Georges Garages to anyone looking for a Garage Contractor that is highly-effective and knowledgeable industry leader. - Nick W.

Once he found out that my car was stuck in the garage, he put me on the schedule for a 10-2 appointment. 10:50 AM I received an email stating that Nick P. was on his way. He was professional, thoroughly explained my options, showed me pics and costs on his tablet, then promptly replaced the springs. The cost was very reasonable, in my opinion. He was finished by 12:30. When I read some of the recent reviews, I was initially a little worried. But then I saw that a couple of the Yelp reviewers only did one review (which was the Four Seasons one), and I assume they are probably from competing businesses. My experience with this company is that they are top-notch, and I would definitely use their services again (although hopefully I won't have to for a long time)
