We have loved every pet we've adopted, and their customer service has always been exceptional. A few months ago, we fostered and then adopted two kitten brothers. Just a few weeks after the adoption was finalized, we discovered that one of the kittens had a diaphragmatic hernia. The first veterinarians we saw gave us a nearly $10,000 estimate for emergency surgery and told us that our 3-month-old kitten had only a slim chance of surviving. They even suggested we consider euthanasia. Our family was absolutely heartbroken. In desperation, we reached out to PAWS, hoping they might be able to help since they had originally cared for and adopted out our kitten. They went above and beyond anything we could have expected. They stayed in constant communication with us, helped coordinate care with a veterinary team that could perform the surgery for a fraction of the cost, and even contributed $1,500 toward the procedure. Their kindness, compassion, and support meant the world to our family. Thanks to PAWS, our kitten made a full recovery. Today, he's perfectly healthy, full of energy, and finally catching up on all the growing and playing he missed while he was sick. We will always be grateful to PAWS for giving our little guy a second chance at life. Thank you for everything you do for the animals and the families who love them.

The listing did not indicate any "pending" status. I understand not removing animals until adoption is final, but adding a simple status label (pending/hold/backup applications welcome) would prevent people from applying under the impression the dog is still available. The lack of transparency and the response to that feedback left a bad impression.

All I did was ask about the adoption fee, I was worried about how much the adoption fee was. All I mentioned was my family and I are a little poor money-wise. They said to me "cats require daily food and care, perhaps this is not the best decision at this time." Like, wow! Don't be an absolute jerk about it! I do not recommend inquiring from here. I would put zero stars if I could. Plus, I adopted a cat elsewhere and we can in fact afford the food and care that cats need.

He had been getting fostered after found on the street with siblings I believe. The space where some kitties are kept is on the smaller side. prior to entering the facility, you must wash hands and place covers over your shoes, prior to entering the area where kitties are kept, to protect kitties from any outside germs that could make them sick. We had opportunity to go in the large kennel to sit on stool with our kitty of interest. The adorable kitty immediately took to my young adult son. We also had opportunity to look around at other kitties. Lynn appeared very knowledgeable about all of the cats that we encountered. After spending quite a bit of time, we paid the adoption fee. The fee seemed a little on the expensive side but again I have limited knowledge and experience with this stuff. However Our kitty had all needed vaccines, microchipped and fed well (as I found out later when I needed to purchase the same food he was eating to make the transition easier for him)). He was on a grain free diet and also ate raw freeze dried proteins. She assisted with getting him in the carrier and into my car. She even provided a clean fabric to put in the carrier with him to help him feel safe! Post adoption I had so many questions and Lynn was patient and thoroughly answered my questions so that I felt comfortable. I remembered her saying besides finding loving forever homes, education is just as important for the cat parents and I could reach out as much as needed as long as I needed. I have shared photos over the last few months with her. I have had him since Feb 2025 when he was 8 mos and he just turned one in June. For a first time cat mom, this was the best place for me to help me feel secure with caring for my kitty! I still can't cut his nails- HE ABSOLUTELY REFUSES! I just pay for someone to do it! The only suggestion for improvement is the location of CCF! Lynn is wonderful and so supportive!

This post is long overdue! After having a horrible experience at another vet in October 2025, I…read moreimmediately started searching for a new veterinarian and was recommended to try Escaya Vets. We brought our Golden Retriever, Mr. Charlie Brown, who has a history of hot spots and skin issues, and met with Dr. Ngo. I couldn't have been happier that we found her. Right when she came into the room, she sat criss-cross applesauce on the floor with Charlie, gave him pets and love, and made him feel comfortable before giving him one of the most thorough exams I've ever seen. She didn't just do a quick swipe of his fur, she literally inspected his entire body and took her time. Dr. Ngo is extremely knowledgeable, explains things in a way that is easy to understand, and never makes us feel rushed. She also understands how expensive veterinary care can be and doesn't recommend unnecessary testing or treatments. Every time we see her, I get this reassuring, comforting feeling that my fur pup is in good hands, which is something I felt was missing with our previous veterinarians. Finding a vet you truly trust with your fur baby means everything, and I'm so grateful we found Dr. Ngo and Escaya Vets. THANK YOU DR. NGO

I called several local veterinarians and Escaya had the best prices for vaccinations. Appointments are very easy to schedule and they call you a day before as a reminder. I specifically requested a written prescription twice while I was at the counter. I was told I didn't need one because any third-party pharmacy could simply contact the clinic, and they would approve the prescription request. Based on that information, I left without a written prescription. Months later, when I tried to purchase the medication through Chewy, the clinic refused the request, stating they no longer partner with Chewy. This was never mentioned during my appointment. I was then told there was an internal policy requiring me to purchase the first six months from the clinic in November and only then purchase the second six months in May in order to receive a full year's prescription. This policy was also never explained to me during my visit. When I contacted the clinic, I explained that I had requested a written prescription at my appointment. Instead of acknowledging the misunderstanding, I was told that I had not requested one, effectively calling me dishonest. I asked if they would at least backdate the prescription or honor the remaining months of the original one-year prescription, and even getting the last three months honored required a great deal of effort. My frustration is not about the medication itself. It is about being given incorrect information, not being informed of important policies, and then being treated as though I was the one at fault. I hope sharing my experience helps other pet owners know to insist on a written prescription before leaving if they plan to purchase medication from a third-party pharmacy.

He always tried to provide cheaper alternatives. When Doctor Rhodes took over, he was just ok and prices went up a bit. It was to be expected and I didn't want to search for another vet. Now there is a newer provider who wants to charge even more and perform unnecessary tests. For example, I called to renew my dog's heartworm meds. I was told that I had to bring her in, pay for an exam, and get a heartworm test. I explained that she just had the bloodwork 6 months ago! "Oh, there's a new provider so they have to do and entirely new exam with blood." Do they not share medical records like any other dog or human doctor? This was the icing on the cake. Such a stupid request to loose a long term customer. I took my dogs to Rolling Hills Hospital and guess what, they don't need to do bloodwork because they could see on her records that she just had the blood test. What a novel thought. Cost Savings Tip: For those of you who never had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Sevier, he gave this advice. Once your dog turns 10, don't bother with vaccinations other than those that are required. By 10 years old, they've had enough vacinnes in their system to carry them through their life. Save yourself some money.

Our dog Heidi had to have some minor surgery to remove a foxtail from her paw. We saw Dr. Komlosy…read morewho gave us options as to how we could approach the situation since it was unknown at the time why there was a sore between the pads of her paw. After going over the options we chose to have her sedated so he could examine the paw more thoroughly and that was when the embedded foxtail was found. We never felt pushed to make a decision one way or another as to the course of action to take. Dr. Komlosy and his nurse Lily, who did Heidi's intake and assisted with the surgery, treated us with respect and kept us informed as to what was happening and the costs involved. We felt they also treated Heidi with kindness and care during her visit there. So overall, we have been happy with the care we were given with the new team at Town and Country Animal Hospital. P.S. We've been clients there for more than 25 years.
