Nanette is amazing! I was really nervous about letting someone who we don't know personally to watch our kittens and be in our home, but I felt super at ease after we talked and met Nanette in person. She definitely has animal whisperer vibes :) and I felt like she was someone I could trust. We left for about a week and had her come twice a day. She would send videos and pictures of our kittens to let us know how happy they were. When we got home from our trip, she had left everything so clean, way above and beyond what I was expecting a cat sitter to do. The space around the kitty litter and their food was tidy and Nanette even took out one of our recycle boxes and set the bins out for us. She created a video/slideshow with music too, totally wasn't expecting that at all. It is apparent that she loves what she does and takes her job seriously and with a lot of fun too. I cannot say enough good things about this place and the ladies that run it. Carly was so incredibly sweet from the time I initially inquired about booking, through the time I picked up my dogs. I received at least 2 updates per day, sometimes more, along with sweet pictures and emails of both of my dogs. They stayed with my dogs every minute of my 5 night stay, and took wonderful care of both of them. One of my dogs is older and does not do well at the facilities with other dogs anymore, and he looked happy and peaceful with them the entire time. I cannot praise Nanette enough for all the help she's given me with my puppy. Before I adopted 7-week old Jinjoo, I contacted Nanette to see if she would be willing to provide daycare for a young puppy since many dog sitters would not accept not yet house trained puppies. Nanette was very prompt to respond to messages (some sitters never respond) and she welcomed puppy daycare. In addition, she provided many tips for house-training to prepare me for the puppy. After Jinjoo arrived, we arranged for a meet-n-greet and my Jinjoo started playing with Nanette's 2 resident dogs during this meeting. Jinjoo loves Nanette, Winston and Lily Allen. Earlier on, young Jinjoo was shredding puppy pads at home, but Nanette did her magic and trained my pup to use the pads. Nanette is always positive, and she loves Jinjoo like her own. Jinjoo dislikes being bathed by me and would struggle and whine. Yet she remains very chill being bathed by Nanette, sitting through shampooing and conditioning. Nanette is very patient and continues to encourage picky eater Jinjoo to eat her meals. Nanette has such a special canine touch. Jinjoo goes to Nanette's at least once a week for loving care and fun. When I pick her up at the end of day, she usually does not want to leave. I know Jinjoo thoroughly enjoys being at Nanette's, and I am very happy to have found Nanette to provide early socialization and regular daycare for Jinjoo. Nanette has been watching our dogs Maverick and Cocoa when we are out of town for...well longer than we can remember! She does an amazing job and we feel completely at ease having her here with our dogs. Both of our dogs have a tendency to be anxious with new people and would not deal with a boarding situation well, Nanette comes right into our home where our dogs are comfortable.
