It felt like we were being watched because she thought we might steal something, while also being pressured to buy something to prove we belonged there. Then she asked where we were from. When we said California, she replied, "Oh, that explains it." The contempt was hard to miss. If you're going to judge people for where they're from and what bags they walk in with, at least spare them the fake friendliness. The attitude in this store was uglier than anything on the racks. I wouldn't spend a dollar here.
