There were groups of kids running and yelling through our camp spot. About 20 adults gathered by a campfire near us and about 10 kids ran wild, yelling and etc. They took over the area and had no respect for other campers. The evening before this happened a group of about 30 rafters came in and surrounded us and were loud. It seems like the big groups have taken over and they do not respect others. Copperfield is no longer the peaceful place that you can just sit in your campspot and enjoy visiting or walking around. Getting hit by kids on scooters and etc is a worry. There is a sign that says no scooters on the walk up to the restroom but kids use this to ride their bikes, scooters you name it. The host drives by and sees and hears it all but doesn't do anything about it. It says quiet time is at 11 pm, but that's a long time to wait for a little peace and quiet and courtesy from others. Sorry for the bad review, it's just very disappointing.

Oh man, oh man, oh man--all of the heart eyes! (Not the easiest thing in the world to get to, but…read morelike a hidden treasure, once you find it, the hunt is so worth it!) How to get there(ish): 1. Head up ID 55 like you're going towards McCall 2. Hang a right on Banks Lowman Highway 3. Drive for 28 miles and then you'll see Pine Flats Campground on the right 4. (Now getting to the hot springs is a bit tricky. Side note: I definitely would NOT recommend attempting this in snowy weather, that just would not be smart or safe.) Anyways, you're going to take a trail that runs sort of by the river and is towards the rightmost part of the campground. You'll walk for what I assume to be a quarter mile, and then voila! You'll arrive at a beach along the river with massive boulders and pools stacked against the hillside (this is all natural by the way)! The Campground: Parking is $5/day, and I am not sure about the cost of overnight camping as we only made a day trip here. They have one bathroom here, and, well, it's totally a public park bathroom. The Views: We went on an October weekend, so we had a view that combined all things beautiful that Idaho has to offer in one--snow on mountains in the distance, lush green hills, stunning fall foliage, a rushing river running along the hot springs, and clean mountain air. The Hot Springs: A good amount of the pools of water were warm and I would only recommend sitting in them if the weather is above 80 degrees, or else you'll get chilly real quick. But for the most part, they were toasty, especially if you sat underneath the ones with waterfalls--those will heat you right up! Pro Tip(s): 1. Make sure you have more than enough gas in your car--you're out of service up here and out of luck if you run out of gas. 2. Bring a big water bottle! Sitting in hot water will dehydrate ya real quick.

When you arrive it can be a little confusing but don't be overwhelmed with the long walking trail! Overall our experience for first timers was great. We did have to walk a little and if your a first timer also like us you may want to be ready with some hiking shoes, warm clothes/swimming clothes if your using the hot springs and a happy motivation(: The hot springs pool overall is pretty smaller then expected but good maybe for couples if you need a nice date idea. The temperature is perfect if you land in the right spot. (Lower ones are better) would we do this again ? 10/10 yes.

It contains 118 camper sites with water and electrical hookups, along with a dump station. Another 15 sites, with shared water, are tent-only. Those sites are steps away from the shore. The campground also includes restroom buildings with free hot showers. You can even see Russia, I mean, Oregon from the shore. We typically stay in B Loop, which has large sites with some room between campsites. The C Loop sites are closer together and there's generally more noise produced from families and groups of friends sharing the sites. Wi-fi is available through a private provider, at $5 for two devices for $5. Hookup instructions are provided on a flyer attached on restroom bulletin boards.

This park has a FANTASTIC visitor center! I mean it's not packed with tons of info but it's got a solid little bit, nice folks, a good little gift shop, clean bathrooms, what more could you want? There are so many trails with an abundance of options for difficulty, or even just driving through was tranquil. We saw a huge variety of birds, wildlife, flowers, and just incredible views. It's worth a visit, take a day and explore, we went in late June and saw many adorable fawns and deer!

It's the kind of stop where you can actually resupply without driving into town. The hot tub was clean, well-maintained, and properly warm. Bathrooms had hot showers with solid water pressure, which is never guaranteed at an RV park and always appreciated after a long day on the road. We were passing through on a road trip and stayed one night in our rooftop tent. For a single-night stop, this place delivered everything you'd want. Staff collects trash every morning and also will refill propane tanks for you if you leave the tank out, you just have to pay for the propane! We chose to get a group site as there were 3 groups in our party. The group site consisted of 4 sites forming a box around shared grass (shown in photo). Full hookups including a direct dump spot on your site! There are plenty of solo sites which each have their own grass patch (pro tip - sites around spot 77 offer a view of the river!). super dog friendly with stations throughout the park for bags and waste trash cans. The main lobby has free popcorn available for self serve. Very nice pool, hot tub and sauna, as well as a mini fitness area and showers located to the left of the lobby. 8pm-10pm is reserved for adults only. Bathrooms were literally the nicest i have ever seen (super clean!) with each private stall having a shower, sink, toilet and complimentary bathmats. bathmats only ran out once in the 4 times i used the shower. There is also access to the river from the campsites and areas for fly fishing! Full time residents stay here as well :) Overall we really enjoyed staying here and would definitely stay again!

The staff makes sure you are okay to set up and stay to answer any questions. The spaces are spread out enough to give you enough space between sites and we loved the group site of four! The common grass area in the middle was ideal to gather around and let our dogs hang out (on leashes). It was like our own little camping area. The bathrooms were the best I've ever seen camping! Individual bathrooms with showers equipped with bath mats! Very clean and the water pressure was excellent! 6 bathrooms in our area with the laundry room. A short walk from our camp site. The main check-in area had a club house with a pool/spa (adults only 18 and up from 8-10pm) with a lounge. They had some entertainment at nights (scheduled). Free popped popcorn all day, help yourself which was just like what you get at the movies - yum! RV Park is dog friendly and has a dog park and has dog areas and poop bags/dispensers thought out the park. It is close to the river so some spots have a river view and you are able to walk to the river and fish. Really loved our stay and will be back next year! Highly recommended!

So, she was surfing the web and came across this. I am so glad she did! It took almost 3 hours to get there, but the scenery from Vale to the dam was well worth it. At first, I didn't want to spend that much money for a boat ride...but, I now think it is worth every penny and more! I had such a great time. Dusty was our guide (what do you call them? Are they Captains?) He was not only a great guide, he just seems like a great person. He was nice, polite, and did one hell of a job on the river! I have great memories with my bestie, and some really great pictures also. We didn't see any exciting animals, but that's ok. Still a great trip! I will go to Yellowstone for wild bears! :)
