We had a great time. I brought my husband and my 78 year old mother and my aunt. We all got wet and had fun. My husband and I enjoyed the small museum on one of the stops and another stop was Sturgeon Rock which my husband jump off into the river. I do feel for the price the lunch could have been better. There were plenty of drinks for everyone. Captain Eric and Cassidy were great. They played music during the ride at our request and were very helpful getting in and out of the boat. Captain Eric had years of experience driving that boat so we felt very safe. We saw deer, big horn sheep, eagles and a sturgeon. Had an amazing time. we booked the fishing trip and ended up on the pole dancer with captain Jeff. He did a great job showing us the river, making sure to hit all the "must see" areas. He navigated the rapids with ease, and we all had a great time. Through his guidance, we were able to bring in 5 sturgeon, the largest was over 9 feet! He helped out a ton and made sure we were able to reel in the dinosaurs. I am already planning on coming back for another trip. For anyone not sure if they should book - do it. You wont regret it one bit. read more

I don't often give five stars because I feel like there is inevitably room to improve, but their jet boat tour is worthy of the accolades. The guides were friendly, informative, accommodating, flexible, and gracious. The boat is clean, cushioned, and well stocked with more drinks than you can get through. There are plenty of stops along the way and the guides are on the lookout for nature. We saw bears feasting on fish, getting tangled in spider webs, and even swimming across the Snake River. We jumped off a 12 foot rock and were allowed to jump off the top of the boat on a fine sand beach and even fish. Lunch was quite good...the cookies are delicious. The WET on the way back was a blast and those who wanted to get splashed surely did...even in the way back. Our pilot even repeated one rapid because he said he could do better. These extras may be because we went towards end of season and our boat was only half full, but these people love what they do...it shows. You will leave smiling! We sure did! We did the all day jet boat tour through Hell's Canyon. From the directions at the check in office, through to the end of the day, everyone was awesome....friendly, knowledgeable, very helpful. Our boat captain and crew were fun, had a great eye for spotting wildlife and were absolute pro's on the river, so we could enjoy the fun of the rapids while they navigated safely. My only suggestion for improvement is a huge need for shade at the lunch stop. It was extremely hot and we had to walk up a ramp with our lunch, only to find one picnic table with a gazebo, and two in direct sun and a couple small cement benches by the restrooms, to accommodate about 50+ passengers from 2 boats. If one is willing to go up about 80 more steps, to the lookout, there were a few benches, but in the sun. Otherwise, perfection! read more

This isn't your standard review. I want everyone to know how decent the human beings at Kilgore Adventures are! We had an automobile accident on the dangerous highway right in front of this business, and they were life savers. We had to stay the night next to the gorgeous river and we would have been roughing it, except Kilgore let us use their bathrooms and WiFi, no questions asked. Met a really cute dog too! If I'm ever in the market for a whitewater trip, these guys will be my first choice. read more

Enjoyable day with 10 family members! Our captain and first mate were knowledgeable, professional, safety minded, friendly and helpful. The boat was comfortable but the lunch stop was not. After walking up a tall, steep boat launch there was inadequate seating and shade. Two boats with ~ 60 passengers disembarked in an area with one shaded picnic table. The balance of passengers could sit on two tables in the blazing sun or a few boulders. There was bench seating at the visitor's center but no tables. Some pax used a truck hood to set their lunches down while they ate standing up. For almost $200 per person, the tour directors should provide pop ups and camping chairs. Note: The Pittsburg Landing bathrooms are the most vile, disgusting, foul-smelling I've ever experienced. Most people walked in and out without using them. While remote, the park should hire contractors to clean them. The bathrooms do not belong to Killgore or any other tour operators. read more

5 stars all day for the Killgore Adventure crew . We took the jet boat adventure up Hells Canyon on Snake River. Bears, bighorn sheep and other wildlife sightings along with HUGE Sturgeon. Shout out to Mike for knocking it out of the park. Terrific guy. All these guys and girls definitely know what they are doing. They definitely have something for everyone. My 5 yr old son absolutely loved it. We can't wait to come back for some ATV adventures and helicopter tours. read more

Rented an ATV, put a few scratches on it, suddenly I'm being told we caused $6000 in damage, but they would be happy just taking our $1500 deposit. Four girlfriends and I had a great experience through Kilgore Adventures. From beginning to end, Heather was welcoming, informative and accommodating. The lodging was clean and provided the basic necessities for an extended weekend getaway. Our guide Rusty was wonderful - he provided us with his suggestions for ideal fishing spots but also let us decide based on our interests. We caught wild chinook salmon, bass, rainbow trout and a huge sturgeon! We hit some great rapids as well; the scenery was beautiful. All in all, it was the perfect fishing excursion: peaceful, simple and fun! In prep for your trip there, make sure to have a full tank of gas; printed or saved directions; and beverages/snacks as wanted, for your room and/or afternoon boat snacking (breakfast and lunch provided).
