Our group had a wide range of experience, ranging from never been camping to frequent outdoorsmen. The seamless way the guides made everyone feel safe, entertained and active during the trip was amazing. Larkin, Issac and Chuck are a dream team for sure. I cannot thank them enough. Arriving to camp each day with tents set up and shaded canopy waiting was great. It allowed us to not worry around set up and enjoy the river, and get some fishing in. The food was 5 star that we were over the moon about. We left wanting recipes but were so amazed on the freshness and preparedness MRO provided each day. No hot dogs on sticks here for sure. They were able to squeeze us in last min for a half day white water rafting trip. Everyone who works there was super friendly and went out of their way to introduce themselves to us. After a short ride on the "cool bus" and and a little safety talk, we were on our way. Our guide Chris was super cool and knowledgeable about the area. In between rapids and one liner dad jokes he told us about the different cliffs and other stuff on the river. Overall it was an amazing day that we will remember for the rest of our lives. Highly recommend this place for all your salmon river needs!!

We've done two half-day trips with H2O over the past two summers -- the first in June of 2018 and…read morethe second just yesterday. Found the company through Groupon, and had a great time the first time so we came back with a group of five adults and five kids. Catfish was the guide both years for the "grown up's" raft, and Taylor was the guide for the kids. Our guides were great -- Catfish took us through the most exciting parts of the rapids, and was very knowledgeable about the river. Taylor was careful with the kids (didn't take them through the most hairy water) and was very nice, letting the kids take turns controlling the raft during calm spots. The water was a lot better in July than in June, and the half day trip took a little less than three hours. The rapids were fantastic -- some of the best we've encountered in Idaho. The guides had dry bags for our phones and keys, and coolers with drinks. We'll use H20 again and will try to book a whole-day trip next time. A great experience with great guides.

First off the park is beautiful and nice to look at. However, I witnessed some things that would…read moreensure I will never come back. They have a dog on leash policy, which is posted everywhere. On my morning walk I witnessed a gentleman two campsites down walking his dog off a leash down by the boat Storage. The Park host asked him to put the dog up and he did so immediately. While the Park host continued walking her dog around the park, she witnessed somebody else three campsites down from him, exercising his hunting dogs down by the river. She yelled at this older gentleman to lock his dogs up, but I would say it was safe to assume he couldn't hear. The Park host then walked her dog all the way into somebody else's campsite where they had their dog leashed and tied to the fire pit. After a few seconds, the park host little dog snapped at the other dog chained to the fire pit and they got into a fight. Nobody was injured, but the Park host was definitely in the wrong. She screamed at my girlfriend and I while all this was going on and we were five campsites away doing nothing. While this is happening the gentleman three campsites down was putting his dogs in the trailer and the lady screamed at him as well. After everything was said and done the gentleman with the two hunting dogs who had nothing to do with any altercation whatsoever was kicked out of the park that day for something he had nothing to do with. Because the Park host demanded an apology from him for something he had nothing to do with. The lady that owned the other dog involved in the altercation went and told the Park host it had nothing to do with the other gentleman, but because he hurt the Park hose feeling by not apologizing for something he didn't do he was kicked out. This was not fair or just. It has nothing to do with me, but I watched the entire scenario unfold and the park host as well as the park Owner were completely in the wrong!

The RV sites were clean, large, paved with rocks, picnic tables and a fire pit. Everything was in excellent condition. The full hook-ups were amazing! The RV sites are on the river with a perfect view of the mountains, and ranch views of cows and animals. We were able to catch steelhead fish on the river bank. The Landing has a wonderful playground which my kids fully enjoyed around the clock. The restrooms, were fully stocked and cleaned multiple times a day. Along with a great location the Wi-Fi was amazing, we were able to watch college football! We had family with us renting a tiny cabin, which was the perfect size for a family of 4! They are fully equipped with a kitchenette, loft and bunk bed and heated to perfection in November! I would give this place 5 stars! We are staying in…read moreMcCall and received a call yesterday from Erik letting us know that there was a huge landslide on the interstate we were supposed to take to get to the rafting location. They kept us updated throughout the day and when things weren't looking like they'd be cleared for rafting today, he offered to have us follow him up another way from McCall to Riggins on a side road. We met early this morning only to find this road was also closed. While we were disappointed to not be able to raft, we want to express our gratitude for how far Erik and the company went to try to get us there. We were refunded for the day and we definitely intend on using them in the future for all rafting trips.

Straight to the point: I really enjoyed my stay at Big Eddy RV Park. I stayed with family and…read morefriends for a night before going on a river trip, and this place was perfect for what we needed. The park itself is pretty typical, with RV's lined up in adjacent spaces. We had grass, shade, a picnic table, hook-ups, and wifi (yay!), and chickens roamed around the park all day. How is this not a fun place? When we checked in, there was an envelope tacked to the office door with my name on it with all the check-in information. Gotta love a process that is intuitive and effective! They let us have an early check-out the next day, so we didn't have to pay for an extra night, which was super nice! When we go back, I will ask about spaces near the river. My friend and I sat down next to the river at an un-occupied RV space and watched the sunset and listened to the flowing water. Very nice. No, the place is not perfect, and might feel a bit rough around the edges for some people, but it has that sort of "Riggins" feel, which fits my attitude nicely. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat if I needed a place to park my RV for a night.
