At first, I didn't want to spend that much money for a boat ride...but, I now think it is worth every penny and more! I had such a great time. Dusty was our guide (what do you call them? Are they Captains?) He was not only a great guide, he just seems like a great person. He was nice, polite, and did one hell of a job on the river! I have great memories with my bestie, and some really great pictures also. We didn't see any exciting animals, but that's ok. Still a great trip! I will go to Yellowstone for wild bears! :)

They are dialed and it shows! Great mix of options with something for everyone. We did a combination of relaxing on the beaches, swimming, fishing, and hiking. During the day, some of us stayed in the rafts with the guides and others ventured out in inflatable kayaks. This was a first whitewater experience for some of our group and they felt very safe and gained a ton of skills! The food was excellent too -- how often does someone cook you salmon and pineapple upside down cake while you sit in the river?! 10/10 would recommend.

We first came down in January of 2017 with my father Edward H. Cotten retired USAF who had terminal lung cancer, keep in mind that my father had a very hard time buying a $5 lure let alone a river trip. All my Pop's wanted to do after retiring was to fish.. Elmer was a Rock Star and treated my father to a fishing trip of a lifetime. My Pop's caught Keeper sturgeon and did it comfortably he was not disappointed and neither were we. We will continue to fish with Elmer for as long as he is on the river and Lord willing we will be able to see his son grow up to be a River Guide as well. All of the staff that Elmer employs are top notch and if for some reason Elmer is busy with other clients we have no problem fishing with Fred or whomever Elmer puts us with because we trust him. Looking forward to many fishing seasons to come. Our next adventure will be this fall on the only wild stretch of the Columbia for salmon!!!!! A BIG thanks to Susu, Elmer's wife for supporting him and allowing him to make his customers happy. Without a great Woman we are not able to be great Men. It is early in the season and the water is high. We experienced three 4s and several 3s. This was our first white water rafting trip and I wasn't sure what to expect. Stephen took care of us, knew the history of the area, and talked a lot. If I visit again, I'd use SRC again.
