I'm not sure what all the good reviews are for. These are mini donuts that take forever to make...and they are $1 a piece. Nothing special as far as taste goes either. If you want a place that makes donuts and coffee pretentious as well as overpriced, this is the place for you. Other than that, skip it! read more

Shitty, tiny donuts. Far too expensive for what you get. Just go to Casual Friday instead.

The small & very expensive donuts did taste good however, that does not excuse the service being atrocious. The girl who took my order was rude, yelled at me about the carousel option ( it was my first time & I didn't know only certain donuts were available for that, if that's even true!) and the person making my coffee couldn't have cared less to try & get it correct and was also sickeningly rude. Disappointed is an understatement. read more

Heard so much about this donut shop. Finally was able to pay them a visit. It was overcrowded. No one, customers or employees, were practicing social distancing. Customers are forced to wait in line twice. Once for coffee and once for donuts. Both lines are elbow to elbow with customers. Observed the donut makers working unmasked and practically on top of each other. There are no instructions for ordering donuts, no price lists and nothing to tip off a first timer like me that the "donuts" are bite sized bits of over fried dough that must be ordered in 1/2 dozen or dozen lots. Naive me! When it was my turn, I ordered one donut. Thinking this was a real donut shop where I could order a real donut of perfectly fried, puffy dough with chocolate icing. The cashier found my naïveté very humerus and ridiculed me for thinking I could order "one" donut. At no time did she politely inform me of how big their donuts are. She went over, grabbed a "donut" with an ungloved hand, stuck it into chocolate icing and handed to me. "Here's your "one" donut!", she said loud enough for everyone in line to hear and laugh at me. The "donut" was the size of a quarter and fried to a oily crisp. Hello Sugar has latched onto this precious concept for selling really bad donuts. Make them small enough and no one will notice how bad they really are. The rest of Spokane might think this is cute. Never again for me. read more

Cool place, and some interesting flavors. Donuts are tiny style and made fresh. Went for grand opening and it was crazy.

Honestly expected more out of this place. The mini doughnut idea is cute, but it's not great or functional at all. Extremely over priced (I mean $6 1/2 dozen for one bite... ridiculous), the staff wasn't super friendly, there's never any seating whatsoever, or even standing room, and the doughnuts are just horrible... hot balls of fat (not really cooked in my opinion) covered in straight up sugar icing, just with different colors... and TONS of "edible" glitter that could support beauty pageants for years to come. No need to say that I will not be back here... read more

Love hello sugar mini doughnuts is great. You have the option of trying many types with out feeling guilty.

I'm really sad to not give a five star review for this place. All of my friends have been raving about it and I thought I'd give it a try. It's in an odd building that is shared with a coffee shop. It's really hard to distinguish which side is which. I didn't really understand where to get the donuts. It's a little tiny window when you go into the building but it looks like you would order from the coffee shop counter. The seating in there was very, very limited. The donuts, sadly, were very boring. I was very excited to order the lemon donut thinking it would be lemon flavored or at least have a lemon cream. But it's just a plain donut with a sprinkle of powdered sugar and a tiny lemon slice. As in, you have to squirt straight lemon juice on a plain donut. Blech! The other donuts were also similarly made. The customer service was great though. They were friendly and fast. This place has the potential to be great but really needs to work on their flavors. Also, their name is not grammatically correct which drives me insane. It should be Hello, Sugar. As the Hello is the direct address. I know this is not a big deal but for a business, it's unprofessional to not have your grammar right in your name. read more

Fun little donuts with interesting flavors. If you're up for some novelty--give it a try. You can the whole cook and assemble process as you wait. read more

Overpriced. Inefficient process. Confusing layout. Huge staff walking around in circles. Anger and frustration should not go hand in hand with donuts. This place will be out of business in 6 months if they don't redesign and rethink their processes and prices. OK, maybe 7. read more

I had the awesome opportunity to check out 'Hello Sugar,' and the brand new flagship location for Indaba Roasters at a private launch this past weekend. My wife and I are longtime friends of the owners of both businesses, and actually photographed both of their weddings! These mini cake donuts are fresh made while you wait (which is a fantastic bonus), and there are plenty of awesome flavors to choose from! My personal favorites are the Strawberry Lemonade (seasonal), which is dusted in powdered sugar, dolloped with strawberry jam, with fresh lemon squeezed over the top, and the Summit (named for a street here in Kendall Yards), a donut rolled in cinnamon and sugar and drizzled with Nutella and topped with mini marshmallows! On top of all that, the atmosphere is fun and the staff is super friendly!! Make a goal to stop by this awesome shop the next time you're in Kendall Yards! It's well worth the visit!! read more

Good doughnuts A little on the spendy side but I think they are worth it. My son loves them. The carousel is the only way to go.

The coffee was good (it's Indaba after all), the donuts definitely could have been good. If only our's was made by one of the diligent employees and not the one that was lounging around, taking her time, chatting, and blowing her nose. You have a display kitchen, we can see what you're doing, and we're waiting at least 30 minutes for our order. Hopefully management will educate their employees about good work ethic and professionalism. Definitely lots of potential though! read more

Such a cozy spot! Great menu options, and they make a fantastic vanilla latte! Will definitely be back next time I'm in town!

Very sweet and good each bite you take. The bite is so wonderful and amazing! I can feel the rich texture when I eat from there. Sometimes it can be alittle to rich but overall amazing. read more

These donuts are SO cute and so delicious! I highly recommend for a fun coffee and donuts date or as a special treat to bring in to work! Give yourself some extra time because they make each donut as you order and perfection takes time! read more

My new favorite place for donuts for my family and my work visits! Adorable and delicious. Great customer service. My new favorite donuts for business meetings and visits, everyone loves them! read more

Super disappointed in this little donut shop! They advertise that they have gluten free donuts and their website says they make these the first hour of the day. I asked them about their cooking method and they do not use a separate deep fryer or new oil, so in actuality, their gluten free donuts may be made with gluten free flour, but when fried in oil/fryer that has had wheat flour donuts in it, completely nullifies the gluten free properties! For someone like me who HAS to be wheat/gluten free, this is a complete wasted effort! I have never been so sick as when I ate something from a deep fat fryer, in the past, that was used for wheat products! I have not had a donut in years and was SUPER disappointed here after reading their advertising! So those of you who are "FASHIONABLY gluten free" --go for it and enjoy, just know, there is wheat in them thar donuts! They ARE cute, tho! read more

Treat day with my littles was sweet success at Hello Sugar! Cute shop, super nice staff, they even have gluten free for my niece! They were delicious and cute! We will definitely be regulars! read more

My boss picked us up some mini donuts from Hello Sugar last week for all of us in the office, and we were instantly smitten with these delicious donuts! Can't wait to go back for more! read more

Hello sugar is a fun place to stop in! Their mini donuts are really cute. The staff is pretty friendly but each time I have stopped in they have confused my order with someone else's or given me the wrong thing. They're a bit pricy for mini donuts but they are overall very cute and tasty! read more

Fresh, delicious morsels of yum! Very cute place with a great vibe. We haven't tried all the flavors yet, but are sure they are all tasty!

Seriously the best gluten free donuts I have ever had. The employees were very friendly as well. I can't wait to go back!

Went in to try their special Harry Potter doughnuts and was very excited as a huge Harry Potter fan. I was disappointed to see that even though I ordered one of every doughnut in the dozen I receive two of the same one, not giving me one of the options, which was the one I was most excited for. I was also disappointed that my box did not have the special Harry Potter related stamp on the inside that I had seen on other people's boxes. read more

What's not to love? It is a sublime pleasure to grab a selection of warm mini-donuts and a cup of coffee, and sit overlooking the river on a chilly morning. A terrific addition to Kendall Yards. read more

Went this morning and I enjoyed it very much. Donuts were still very warm and tasted very good. The different flavors offered were a nice change. Enjoyed the coffee, good variety of drinks. Will going again! read more

This place is a hit or a miss. The first time I went the donuts were done in 10 minutes and were warm and tasty. The second time I went it took over 30 minutes to make a dozen mini donuts which were cold by the time I got them. It's important to note that there were fewer people in front of me the second time. Overall not a bad place, just some consistency would be nice. read more

Amazing donuts! Tasty, friendly staff, meticulously crafted... can't say enough about this place! Highly recommend!

the CUTEST donuts - minis but FULL of flavor! they don't miss a beat with rotating new flavors
