I'm a visitor from out of state and desperately needed a wax. My appt was made with Angelique..I was 1 1/2 early for my appointment..she was able to accommodate me and take me early. Angelique was very professional with amazing customer service. I was concerned about using soft wax, most of my previous waxes has always been with hard wax. She made me very comfortable and explained the reason why she use soft vs hard during some of the waxing service. Waxes are never painless, however I can say this is the 1st wax that didn't make me entirely apprehensive. I would highly recommend this salon. read more

There's never going to be a waxing session that is going to rank in my top 5 most favorite experiences ever. It doesn't feel good. But I think that's why it's so important to find a waxing salon that is as comfortable as possible without trying to pretend you're in for one of the most relaxing experiences of your life. Sugar Me was fantastic. And the waxing specialist, Layne, is a waxing goddess. Here's why. 1. She was quick. She removed the hair I came in to have "disappeared." And she somehow got it accomplished without hurting me so much I spent the time envisioning taking off her head. 2. Not only was she simply good at what she was doing, but she was entertaining. Kind of a bonus at the waxing salon. She even had me laughing at one point. And I've got to say (sounds weird), but it was a fantastic distraction from the discomfort of being waxed. 3. When all was said and done, I could still look my waxing technician in the eye. Admit it, when you go to get waxed, when it's all over, you high tail it out of there like the hounds of hell are after you and you look anywhere but at the girl who just spent a small chunk of her life removing your unwanted hair. It's uncomfortable and you want to act like it didn't happen. That was SO not the case at Sugar Me Wax. The entire experience was surprisingly comfortable. In the past, at other waxing salons when I said the experience was life altering, I would have done so with a shudder and changed the topic to one less awkward and horrid. When I say that Sugar Me Wax was a life altering experience, I'll be doing so with a smile on my face. It was easy. It was not excruciating (painless is going too far, but the end result of waxing is completely worth it). It was surprisingly well done for how quick the appointment went. And I will definitely not be wandering in to just and old waxing salon from now on. This is the place. My legs are very excited to wear shorts again and I have Sugar Me to thank. :) read more

In need of a wax? You haaaaave to schedule your next wax at Sugar Me! I just saw Layne for the first time. I had heard her prices are amazing and that she is the best. I thought I was sold on my previous girl and I've tried basically everyone in Scottsdale/Phoenix, but no way. Layne is the best. She is worth traveling to. Try her out and you won't regret it!! Fair prices and perfect skill. read more

Deb was incredible, she was sweet and made me feel at ease. The waxing was as painless as a wax could be. The studio is definitely tucked away but they send you an email with instructions that made it easy to find. The whole process was wonderful, I didn't try the sugaring but if the regular waxing left my skin feeling this great then I'm sure it's even better. I'll definitely be returning regularly. read more

My first time getting a Brazilian and I must say, Layne made me feel super comfortable like I had known her for years. I signed up for the deal to come every month! I'm looking forward to my visits and no more shaving in that area! Thank you so much again Layne! You are such a sweet heart and definitely taught me plenty about waxing! See you next month! read more

I had the best experience last night at the old town Scottsdale location! I just moved to Phoenix and was looking for a salon that used Sugaring for a Brazilian wax! I have never been a person to leave a bad review, however I had a was shocked by the experience. With that being said, the manager Nicole reached out to me not only on yelp where it made the company look better but on my personal phone number. I stated in my last review this company did not care about their consumer but I no longer feel that is the case. While I feel my circumstance was mishandled, I do think had I reached out to management my concern would have been handled professionally. I understand mistakes can be made when texting into a phone number, and the manager resolving the issue with the highest level of professionalism, which made a world of difference in my opinion of this company. I have had several aestheticians, each has been super friendly and done a great job. I do recommend this company and if you have any issues I suggest speaking with management (instead of making a rash decision about the company). read more

Layne is AWESOME! I had gotten brazilians somewhere else and had ended up crying from the pain so I wasn't sure that I ever wanted to endure that again. Now I am no longer scared of being waxed!! I will definitely be returning to see Layne again! read more

I had a horrible experience with Sugar Me Wax from start to finish today. And I'd like to preface this by saying I've never left a review for a business before because I've never received bad service until today. I scheduled waxing at the Camelback location for trip I have in a couple of days. I show up at Suite 10 (as said in my email) and knock. After 5 minutes, finally someone answers and tells me to go upstairs. Okay, it was supposed to be in suite 10 but whatever. I go upstairs and it takes another 5 minutes to finally find it since I was given no directions and have never been here before. I knock on the door and no one answers. I wait 5 minutes only to discover the room is empty. I call to see what is going on and no one answers. I wait and call again. At this point it's 11:15 for an 11:00 appointment. Someone finally answers. She tells me that she will call me back and figure out what is going on. After 10 minutes and no call back, I call again. She said she didn't have my number in the system to call back (even though my email is in the system) and that the woman who was scheduled called out sick. Now, I'm not an irrational person. People get sick and I understand that. However, when these things happen you need to call or email customers! It was now 11:25. I've wasted 30 minutes getting here, 25 minutes to figure out what is going on, and now I have to drive 30 minutes back. This entire situation was unprofessional. I cannot speak to the service here as I haven't received any, this was my first appointment and I will not be rescheduling or coming back and will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I overall had an excellent experience! Breanna was spectacular, she is very friendly and extremely efficient and knowledgable. My entire wax look less than 10 minutes and Breanna and I chatted the entire time. I will definitely be recommending to my friends and be back for my next wax! read more

Micki is the best! Super personable, she talked to me the entire time and let me know when it was going to hurt so I could brace myself. She also educated me about the waxing process and how the hair grows and would eventually thin out. She 100% knows what she's doing! I also appreciate the text message reminders and the receptionists are great if you have a question or need to adjust your appointment. Sugar Me Wax is the only place I'll go for brazilian waxes! I haven't tried anyone but Micki, but I am sure they are amazing as well!! Got my very first brazilian with them from a Groupon, 2 appointments later and I have a membership, great service always. read more

Sugar Me was a great experience. Layne was wonderful and so accommodating. She was very helpful and patient as I needed to reschedule my appointment last minute. The office is so beautiful and the staff are all very welcoming and warm. Layne was confident in what she is doing. When I came in, I was nervous and she put me at ease. My brazilian was quick. She tested the heat of the wax and added more beads as it is a sensitive area and wanted to cool it down. The prices are AWESOME for packages. Definitely wanting to go back! read more

Really pleased with this place. The woman was very friendly and professional. I felt comfortable the entire time. She was quicker and made the experience a lot less painful than other places I've been. It's kind of hard to find so make sure you call for directions if you make an appointment. Plus they gave me a brownie at the end! read more
