But most everything has experienced 30% or more "shrinkflation".... prices are the same as I remember from a year or two ago, but now everything is about 2/3 the size it was. They now sell "short johns" as my daughter calls them, and the yum-yums are now about 4" long instead of full sized twists. I cut into it and it looks good but the cake layers are uneven/thin, icing layers are thick in ratio to the cake and the sugar paper wasn't adhered well (wavy). The icing is overly sweet and the white cake was supposed to be wedding white but it's a buttermilk white. It's tangy, tastes off and the blue icing had so much color it has that dye aftertaste. The cake is pretty but it's not good. I don't know what my friend paid for it but I am guessing it was pricey because it was custom. I love supporting local but not if it's a poor product. I would think twice before buying a custom cake here.

No rush, no pressure, just friendly people doing their work. The kids working at the register were polite, explained everything we asked about, and made us feel welcome.
