The beans were another story. They were a congealed mess. "Been sitting at the bottom of the pot all weekend" kinda mess. Burnt tasting and suuuuper spicy. I did enjoy the burnt end flavor, but again, they tasted like they had been siting all weekend, super dry and sad. There was a table outside that offered napkins, forks, and bbq sauce. I wanted to try the bbq sauce but they were in these upside down containers that looked again, like they hadn't seen any love in quite a while. The forks were covered in dirt and the whole area was just, a little scary in the sanitary department if I'm being honest.

They quickly impressed me with their organized beverage window, HDTV menu and prompt, professional service. The pulled pork sandwich with tater tots ($10.25) was served just five minutes after I ordered at the window. The sandwich measured 3.5" dia x 2.5" high with a good amount of moist, shredded pork and cheese on a fresh bun accompanied by a side of pretty tasty BBQ sauce. I was surprised at how good the generous portion of tots tasted. They were perfectly cooked, which is pretty rare. Nice! Overall, I wish the sandwich had been a little bigger and the side of tots a little smaller, but overall it was a very good experience!

We then ordered house coffee which she then began writing our name on plastic drink cups. When we told her, those are regular coffees right? She said no your ordered iced. My girlfriend said NO, I ordered coffee and I said, "I'll have a coffee too". I never said iced ether and she threw a fit. We said you know what, make it 2 Togo coffees. She gave my girlfriend that leaked the entire time and the bottom of the cup was saturated like it was going to fall apart anytime. She has no business being in a customer service role. The line moved quickly, and my order was ready in about three minutes. The regular size pulled pork sandwich had a generous amount of tasty, moist meat while the generous amount of beans was just okay, with nice pieces of BBQ meat mixed in. I especially liked the cole slaw, which was crunchy, chewy, fruity, and flavorful. My order also included complimentary pickle spears. Not bad for $10.57. I purchased the pulled pork, the pulled chicken, the sliced brisket and the smoked turkey for my family on Sunday. Hands-down, our entire family said it's the best barbecue we've ever had. And trust me we've eaten a lot of barbecue. We even felt it is BETTER than most of the well known Kansas City bbq chains. The brisket is tender and the smoked turkey is unbelievably moist!!! It takes a good cook to make a decent turkey that isn't dry. If you have not tried this wonderful food truck, I say DO IT!! You will not be disappointed.
