We were in yesterday (Sat around 8:15 AM). The girl working the order register was a snot from the get go. I find it hard to believe that other customers didnt have complaints about her either. We attempted to order food which she rang up nit than said we don't have biscuits and gravy so you can't have that or the savory crepe with gravy. Ok but you rang it up, didn't ask anyone so how's then did you know you didnt have two of the six things you have on the menu? We then ordered house coffee which she then began writing our name on plastic drink cups. When we told her, those are regular coffees right? She said no your ordered iced. My girlfriend said NO, I ordered coffee and I said, "I'll have a coffee too". I never said iced ether and she threw a fit. We said you know what, make it 2 Togo coffees. She gave my girlfriend that leaked the entire time and the bottom of the cup was saturated like it was going to fall apart anytime. She has no business being in a customer service role. Not sure what her issue was. Was it we weren't regulars? Because if so, as a small business-good luck growing your business catering only to your 20-30 regulars. I will say, it was a solid cup of coffee though.

Service was kind and patient as we picked out what we wanted - a butterscotch blondie bar for me, and a lemon curd hand pie for him. Both were so darn good! Not only do they serve a variety of delicious baked goods, but their store also carries with other local products. I love the shop local mentality! Beyond the sweets, their breakfast sandwiches are fantastic -- fresh, satisfying, and perfect for starting the day right. And speaking of starting the day right, the coffee is solid and served in real mugs if you're planning to linger (which you'll want to). There's plenty of cozy window seating, making it a great spot for a relaxed morning meeting, catching up with a friend, or simply enjoying a quiet moment with something delicious. The staff is genuinely friendly and adds to the welcoming neighborhood feel.

I didn't get to go until they were a few hours in but they had a pretty good selection left. It's a small shop next door to a Honeybaked Ham in a shopping center on Black Bob. Pretty easy to get to. Has several tables inside if you wanted to sit in but we just grabbed several cupcakes, a Dubai Brownie, and a slice of Cinnamon Roll Cheesecake. While they were already sold out in a couple of my first choices (Triple Chocolate and Cosmic) they had some others I was eyeing. Lemon Blueberry, Strawberries and Cream, S'mores, and Chocolate Peanut Butter. Yummy. I think my faves were Chocolate Peanut Butter (how can you go wrong?!) and Lemon Blueberry. I haven't tasted the brownie yet but since brownie is one of my fave desserts, I imagine I'll like it. We were waited on almost immediately and they were super nice. They have a rewards program too which I get could be dangerous! lol They had quite a few different flavors of cookies as well and I noticed they had several gluten free options which is great for those who must avoid it! This is my first visit but I think they change out their flavors pretty often so I'm looking forward to trying some more!

You are getting your monies worth and more. The cookies are crispy on the outside, soft and crumbly on the inside. Even though each cookie weighs quite a bit, they're not actually heavy. We had all kinds flavors and while many are normal and in rotation, it seemed several might be seasonal. We got one of each flavor and were excited to figure out which flavor is our favorite. The woman who greeted us was so nice and accommodating! She answered all our questions and advised us on the flavors. We have neighbors we share with who have a nut allergy and she separately packed the cookies with nuts. We can't wait to come back! The only downside is that we live almost 30 minutes away. Since I do not live in Kansas City, my boyfriend drove about 3 hours the day before so I could attend the interview. However, when I arrived at the location, the owner simply did not show up for the interview. He also did not respond to my messages or even had the consideration to apologize for what happened. I was extremely upset and disappointed with the situation, especially because of the time spent traveling, the money spent on gas, and the loss of my workday. As of today, May 14th, I still have not received any response or even a simple apology. If this is how a potential employee is treated before even being hired, it says a lot about how this business values people.
