Wow! This place is amazing! It's graduation week and the town is filled with family, friends and lots of people. This shop is near our hotel and we wanted to give it a try based on the positive reviews. We used their online ordering system. It's pretty detailed including how you want your bagel toasted. Once we arrived our order was ready and we walked past the huge crowd. My onion bagel with veggie cream cheese was so delicious. It was packed with fresh veggies and enough cream cheese for me to enjoy. The onions flavored the bagel so well that I had a burst of onions and vegetables for breakfast. Bagels look like bagels, but they lack the texture that a real bagel should have. had a pork roll egg and cheese sandwich on a plain bagel and the pork roll was the best part of it and was the only reason I even finished the sandwich. In fact, I left half of the bagel on the plate and just ate the egg cheese and pork roll. Being from Central New Jersey, I am a little particular about bagels. Stopped in to avoid the hotel breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. Ordered the herbed lox bagel, which was quite good and very fresh. Service was fast and friendly, and the location was very convenient. This bagel shop was definitely bustling on a Sunday morning. It was nice to see some different options on the menu, so I opted for the chipotle bacon bagel. It was tasty with just the perfect amount of heat from the bacon. It would have been nice to have a fresh egg on top, but rather it was a heated up pre-made scrambled egg with small bits of pepper. The bagel was good but not amazing, slightly dry in my opinion. The sriracha sausage bagel had sauce over the sausage, whereas the bacon seemed to come seasoned with the chipotle flavor. They say NY Bagels, but are not. They are good if only use to grocery store or Panera bagel, but does not have the NY bagel texture or consistency. I always love bagels! So one morning I dragged my friends to grab bagels with me at 8am to one of the bagel places in Blacksburg. The layout looked nice, and service was very friendly. One of my friends don't go out much so she was having trouble ordering and the server was very accommodating walking her through the process. I almost always get nova lox, but I wanted a bagel for lunch as well. So I ended up ordering a nova lox on a jalapeno and cheese bagel and a Italian on jalapeno and cheese bagel. The bagels were really good. The nova lox bagel (Smoked salmon, cream cheese, tomato, red onion, and capers) had all the components it should have and it had a good ratio which is hard to do. What really wowed me was the Italian bagel (Tavern ham, hard salami, pepperoni, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, olive oil, and spices). Even though it had a fair amount of meat, I was surprised it wasn't salty. The amount of salt for that bagel worked perfectly with the olive oil. Overall, this bagel place is really good, and their ratios for their bagel sandwiches are on point. I would definitely come back to try more of their unique selections. read more

I love bagels, I have grown up eating them all the time at home so to move to a place where there aren't a million bagel shops was a sad change I had to make. I am so happy to find this place. When you walk in, it automatically feels like a safe space. There aren't a bunch of places that do feel like that so it's comforting to me to see it in a local business. The bagels are good, they offer a variety of flavors and the ones I have tried have been good. The stuff for sale is amazing, I did Christmas shopping there (you know how funny it was to tell people I got their presents from a bagel shop?) I bought over $100 stuff for myself and others and it was all super unique and fun. I will be coming back here for more bagels and shopping. read more

I've been off bagels for awhile because it is so hard to find a good one. Recently, on a Sunday morning, traveling through Blacksburg, we stopped in and were so glad we did. Bagels were fresh and lots of choices were available. I loved the daily special breakfast sandwich. It was called the Sausilito (sp?) featuring spicy turkey, egg, cheese peppers and a southwest style cream cheese. All the ingredients worked well to make a tasty sandwich. Schweety had a basic egg and cheese bagel and got the Italian bagel sandwich to go to take on a hike. He was a huge fan of this one. Along with good food the coffee and service were also excellent. Hello bagel is definitely my new favorite breakfast spot in Blacksburg. The prices are very reasonable for what you get. My go to order is the plain bagel with bacon, egg and cheddar cheese. It is so classic and so delicious. The bagels taste delish and they aren't to hard or too soft. Idk how they do it, but this is one of the only places where my breakfast bagel sandwich stays together when I eat it, it's probably magic. My absolute favorite part of this place is the atmosphere. It has such a clean and cute atmosphere. The artwork is awesome around the restaurant. I wish my apartment looked this nice. It's on my list of a new study place to try out.
