I'd say eating it was like eating Buldak, very well done although next time I will take the initiative to add less in. Personally, I cannot finish their soup in one sitting. Taro Buns were beautifully made again, goes well with some sweet coffee. Deserving of the 5 stars due to how polite the guy running the place was. I read the enthusiastic Yelp reviews, and was really anticipating eating here. My meal was certainly okay, but ... JUST okay. On line they showed my fave: egg rolls with rice vermicelli and veggies. But they've changed the menu and don't offer that anymore. So I had the Tran noodles. A bit gummy and heavy-handed, not delicate like most Vietnamese food I've had. Sorry. We rolled up at like 7 pm on a Sunday night after calling to see if they do dine in after reading that it was take out only. Turns out the answer is yes they do dine in until 8 pm! We were at first super hesitant if the address was correct or not; wondering why we were in a neighborhood, am using this moment to confirm, it is indeed in a house. It is a home that was converted to a restaurant! The food was PHENOMENAL. I've had hundreds of bowls of pho, ate at dozens of Vietnamese restaurants, and been to vietnam in recent years -- this place is legit. The table had a diverse crowd of dietary restrictions so we had everything from the pho bo tai (beef), pho ga (chicken), vegan pho, banh mi, chicken plate, egg rolls and vegan spring rolls. They did not miss. It was well enjoyed by every single person. Please don't sleep on this place when visiting El Centro, it's a must! Also, doorbell when you get there lol, they can get super busy and won't hear you knocking. read more

Surprising find in the Imperial Valley. The food wasn't as good as let's say Westminster, but definitely good enough to satisfy my pho craving. I would say the quality is consistent with an average pho place from socal so that's relatively high praise considering that's there's no real competition in the area. I ordered the chicken pho and carne asada Vietnamese style empanada. I'm still dreaming about the empanada. Phenomenal! The meat had a lot of flavor, the dough was nice and crispy and the chili sauce that came with it paired well. Wasn't spicy. The pho was good too, comparable to any other pho I've had. It could be better for the price. No pork in the shrimp spring rolls is crazy work. They need a peanut sauce as well, that would be fire. Hoisin sauce just doesn't cut it. Also more ingredients in their beef pho like brisket, tendon or tripe, etc. that was just a basic beef pho noodle soup. Otherwise the broth was decent. The service was ok, could also have been better. No bahn mi's or vermicelli bowls was disappointing. Oh yeah, and serving the fried spring rolls with bottled sweet and sour sauce is devious. I had to order the fish sauce and pickled veggies on the side. Any other place in several states does that as a standard. Some music would improve the ambiance. Overall, not a bad place but for the price I can't justify dining here. They do, however have what it takes to be a really bomb ass spot. read more

Got the hu tieu bo kho which was super flavorful, had super tender beef, high quality noodles, and perfectly soft onions + potatoes. The egg rolls (vegan) were a perfect app and the sauce that came w it was delicious. The complimentary herbal tea (I got it sweetened) was also really good. Great food and great iced coffee! My go-to Asian food place in Brawley. Highly recommend it. Everything is made to order so service can be a little slow but it is worth the wait. Don't forget to add their fish sauce to your rice dishes and rice noodle soup salads. The sauce makes a big difference. Ordered the spicy pho and the spicy chicken dumpling soup (level 5 for the dumpling soup). It is unfortunate that the AC was broken on the day I went, but the people were very kind and showed how much they cared about the restaurant. Service was great and when I got my food, it tasted delicious. Spicy pho had a small kick to it and the level 5 spice level was a very good kick, but not unbearably hot for me (as someone with a high spice tolerance though). Would recommend eating the food fresh though if you can. Cause it would be way more worthwhile. Hopefully the AC is fixed the next time I visit Brawley. :) read more

I read about this restaurant on social media decided to give it a try. Where should i start? The young man (cashier/server excellent service. Very nice very welcoming. The food is delicious! I love Pho so that is what i ordered today and it just tastes so authentic the broth bursting w/ flavor compared to other restaurants here in the valley. Chili chicken dumpling soup & egg rolls delicious. I do not live in Brawley but i do visit as i travel for work so i will definitely stop by again.
