5 stars is for the Reuben. It was sooo good. Maybe next time I'll try it as a pizza. You would never think something other than what they are known for will be that good but it was excellent. Like going to a steak house and ordering a burger :) The pizza is great if you order the right one. Lots of funny names. The bread is soft and buttery and not New York style like most places which I'm tired of. Made a basic pizza and was delicious. The red sauce is enough and flavorful. Toppings were sufficient. The cheese pizza also good for the kids. Tried the Scarface but was let down. No where near a Cuban sandwich taste. Not enough Spanish pork WAY too much sauce and mayo. Just was no good. Plus not all of their employees can do the artwork of an outline dead dude. So you get what you get. Won't fault their score for it cause rest was great. Tried a biscoff bunt cake and it was good and not overly sweet. If ever in town would do it again read more

I placed a to go order and it was ready when I got there. Another great pizza! The Hot and Sticky is soooo good! It packs a lot of heat, but the honey really helps! A normal pepperoni pizza with added heat and sweet! Helen back pizza has the perfect crust and you always eat the whole slice! Definitely give them a try if you are ever in the area. read more

I've been going to a version of Helen Back since the early 2000s when it was on the water in Ft Walton Beach. Like the Ft Walton Beach location, they still have military free pizza Mondays as well as other themed days tailored for specific parts of the community. The pizza is still good as always, to include the top line pizza if you are familiar with the original. While not on the water, building is nicer and the people at Helen Back are still great! I look forward to visiting again when I get a chance. read more

Amazing pizza! We met the owner and he was very personable. Will definitely be going back!

As usual, I was on Yelp looking for something tasty to eat, and I came across Helen Back Pizza. It had been a few months since I had a pizza, so we decided to give this resturant a shot. Pizza was the delicious, the customer service was helpful and friendly. The ambiance was to be expected...late on a week day night. If you are in Crestview looking for some good pizza, stop in Helen Beck, you will NOT be disappointed. Oh and I almost forgot to mention, military and veterens have donated a lot of swag to the owner, you will be entertained with the military items all over the building. read more

Be sure to go to the right location. It is not in the old Winn Dixie shopping center. Since I was alone so I sat at the bar. The bartenders took good care of me. The bar had a chatty atmosphere, mostly about the upcoming Super Bowl and Olympics. Menu had many good choices at reasonable prices. I enjoyed my pizza. When leaving I asked about a handicapped entrance and they showed me where it was. I'll be back. read more

This podunk town needed a pizzeria, we ended up getting the Margherita "por favor" pizza. The crust was thin and crunchy, right amount of burnt ends, the ingredients on that pizza paired so well. My wife and I shared a 16 inch pizza, left without about 4-5 slices to-go. The best thing is we left feeling satisfied, and a good full feeling. Unlike a dominos, little Caesar, or papa John's which makes you feel like a crap after and you can't move. You can tell Helen Back uses top quality ingredients. Will definitely going back especially now that they're selling beer now . Good job HB read more

Place is nice food is great would recommend this place. Easy to park also not a lot of parking but enough

Ordered a custom pizza and asked for green onions instead of purple onion's on my custom pizza! It looked amazing but then noticed the purple onions ): Brittany came by to check on us and I mentioned the onion mixup. I told her it was fine but she wasn't having any part of us not being 100% satisfied with our meal. She brought me out another pizza exactly the way I ordered it and it was my son's 17th birthday so she made him another pizza also! So sweet of her! Let me tell you about the pizza...AMAZING so go see them at the north end Helenbacks Pizza in Crestview, FL...excellent service and amazing pizza!! read more

Pretty sure I just ate the best f***ing Cuban sandwich in Northwest Florida. Wife got a 10" pizza and it was on point. My taste buds give you a standing ovation. Been here several times and the service has been consistently good. Feels like a classic pizza place atmosphere. Whoever the cook was tonight needs a raise! read more

Never eaten here before so decided to give it a try. The pizza was mediocre at best. We decided to start with the OG - a pepperoni pizza - you can't go wrong. My hubby thought it was good, I thought it lacked flavor. We also ordered the chips and salsa because I was intrigued - chips and salsa on a pizza menu - ok! The homemade salsa was GREAT! A tint of sweetness and just enough heat! I like it more than the pizza. The chips were bagged (I can almost taste the brand). Homemade chips would be SO BOMB with their homemade salsa! We also ordered "cheesus chrust". It was just ok. Probably wouldn't eat here again based off this food order. read more

Nice place. Good service. Definitely will go back! People very friendly!!! 5 Star Servive with a smile!!

Heart broken, I thought Helen back was back, but this is not Helen back pizza. No garlic butter on the crust. Too much cheese and sauce is not like it was. It's not worth it. Plus, the music sucks. But It was clean and set up for business. I'll give the 2 stars for the service. Service was good since they were not business, and they actually had plenty of help. read more

Beach29.com great pizza buffet the salad was good also at a reasonable price. This is a local place that is amazing

Delicious pizza and salad service was great and everyone was kind . We will definitely come back again

Definitely a different taste in pizza by my locals. My favorite place for real Italian wood fired pizza closed and I've been searching for a new pizza. I don't do Dominos, HH, Pizza Hut or Marcos. The pepperoni pizza I had wasn't bad at all. Pretty good. Coincidentally they moved into the place where my Italian place was located for pizza. I would definitely order pizza from here again and it's my favorite pizza right now read more

Great pizza, drea the bartender is amazing. Would love to see some wings here. It's the only thing missing.

Food was mediocre, tasted like a frozen tombstone the brown skin lady with a short cut & tattoos behind her ear was rude for no reason. If you don't like your job quit. But they definitely lost a customer read more
