It is still marked on my portal as an Office Visit. But, in the Doctor's After Summary, my visit was marked a Wellness Visit. He submitted to Medicare a claim for $641.52. He split the claim for a short visit for $250.23 and a Wellness Visit for $391.29. The Wellness Visit was denied as I had a Wellness Exam 6 months prior. Now, he is trying to collect the $391.29 from me. He wants me to pay the inflated charge on top of what Medicare would pay for an Office Visit ($142) or the Wellnes ($145). I started receiving bills for this in January 2025, whereas I asked that they recode this as an Office Visit. I also called February and March to this Doctor's billing agent, AHS. They are a medical investment group. So, is this bait and switch? You decide.

I have been a patient at Dr. Cadoo's office for a little over two years. My first appointment with…read moreDr. Kadoo was excellent, and I had the opportunity to see her once more after that. Both visits were positive. She was thorough, attentive, courteous, and took the time to answer my questions. Her bedside manner is exceptional, and I always felt heard and respected during our interactions I also want to recognize the medical assistants and nurses who greet patients and take vitals. They have always been kind, welcoming, and professional, and they consistently help create a positive experience when arriving for an appointment. When I first became a patient, I saw a nurse practitioner who was equally thorough and took the time to address my concerns. Unfortunately, she is no longer with the practice. Since then, there seems to have been a revolving door of nurse practitioners, and the consistency in care has noticeably declined. Several appointments have felt rushed, and some of the concerns I initially raised were never revisited or followed up on. As a patient, it's difficult to build trust and continuity of care when the provider changes so frequently. My most recent appointment with Nurse Practitioner Patel was especially disappointing. The interaction felt very uncomfortable because communication was extremely limited. She appeared knowledgeable, but I had to continually ask questions to get even basic information. Instead of feeling guided through my treatment plan, I felt like I was pulling information out of her throughout the visit. When the appointment ended, I was still unsure about several important details: how exactly to use my prescription, how long I should use it, what to expect from the medication, what to do if it didn't work, whether there were any potential side effects I should watch for, and what the plan would be moving forward if my condition didn't improve. I left the appointment feeling confused rather than reassured. These are questions that I believe should be addressed proactively during a patient visit, not only if the patient knows to ask. I continue to have confidence in Dr. Cadoo and truly appreciate the care I have received directly from her. My concerns are not with Dr. Cadoo herself, but with the inconsistency in care resulting from the frequent turnover of nurse practitioners and the lack of thorough communication during some of those visits. I hope the practice can improve continuity of care and ensure that every provider takes the time to educate patients, answer questions thoroughly, and make patients feel informed and supported.

As a 50-year-old Black woman who is generally healthy and feeling good most days, my main focus…read moreright now is wellness--how can I optimize my health as I age? Lately, I've been struggling with moodiness and low energy, which led me to start researching hormones and their potential role in my symptoms. That's how I found Dr. Fuksina, and I am so pleased I did! From the moment I walked into the office, I felt welcomed. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient, quickly verifying my health insurance and intake forms, which I had emailed on the day of my appointment. After a short 15-minute wait, I was seen by two different nurses/nurse practitioners, both incredibly kind and thorough in their questions and examination, taking standard vitals. Then came the star of the show, Dr. Fuksina. From the moment she entered the room, I knew I was in the right place. We had a wonderful, in-depth conversation about my wellness goals, lifestyle, and the latest bloodwork I had brought with me. I had done quite a bit of research on peptides and emerging compounds, and she openly and knowledgeably discussed them all with me--something I greatly appreciated. Dr. Fuksina spent over 45 minutes with me, carefully listening and offering insightful advice. She didn't just focus on what's wrong but instead took a proactive approach to how I can feel my best. That's exactly what I was looking for--a doctor who specializes in wellness, not just sickness. I want to co-create my health journey with a doctor who is invested in seeing me thrive, not just treating issues when they arise. She ordered a comprehensive panel of specialized labs, and when I went to Labcorp, even the technician asked if I was working with a holistic doctor because the tests requested were so thorough. That, to me, was a sign that Dr. Fuksina is truly invested in understanding the full picture of my health. I'm now eagerly awaiting my lab results and excited about the personalized plan Dr. Fuksina and I will craft together. If you're looking for a thoughtful, well-researched, and incredibly thorough doctor who will truly partner with you in your wellness journey, I highly recommend Dr. Fuksina!
