Many folks around town have raved about this little restaurant bar so we gave it a shot. Service…read moreupon entering was welcoming, many open tables and lots of seating options. The bar was quiet, calm, dark and cold but seemed like a chill vibe. Our waitress was okay, service was quick and she did her job well but didn't smile and wasn't very talkative or seemingly friendly. We asked what her favorite appetizers were and we ordered the Loaded Potato Balls based on her recommendation - they were great! 10/10! Loaded with flavor, very moist and served with 3 sauces - ranch, spicy ranch and sour cream. The ranch and spicy ranch were not great - tastes like they're bottled not homemade. The sour cream though, that was a good compliment. We both ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwich - 10/10! They're hand breaded, juicy and tender chicken breasts topped with lettuce, tomato and mayo on a perfectly warm brioche bun. Our meal was served so hot, it was perfect. I would absolutely go back just for this sandwich! The homemade chips for the side were great, crispy and lightly seasoned. I had the tater tots with mine and they tasted freezer burnt, wouldn't get them again. We also had a side of their house made coleslaw and it was perfect, ice cold and a great balance of flavor. Draft beer wasn't super cold - it would be better served in a frosted glass. Overall- it's good, we'd come again! Next time we'd sit at the bar top as the bartenders seemed to enjoy more casual conversation and friendly vibes with their customers.

My cheeseburger was very good, cooked with a slight pink in the inside, I'm not a fan of well done beef. The smoked wings were definitely "smoked" and was good as well. There was a lot of options on the menu, looking forward to coming back to this location and trying out the other options that they do have.

I definitely stepped out of mine for this place. I ordered a Bloody Mary to start and it was delicious with all the right fixings olives, lime, lemon and pickles. They have really great burgers as well and if your in the mood for some greasy bar food that's really good then yes go here. Play some pool or darts it's a very chill atmosphere with locals mostly. Monday's they also have .75 tacos and they really aren't that bad after a couple bloody Mary's in. The looks are not to good and it is a little run down inside and outside and I can tell they really never remodeled anything but it's alright. Jukebox works so you can play your tunes and the bartender doesn't mind turning it up a notch! Give it a try and do something different.

Not a lot of great flavor either. Got an order of the wings and they were way overcooked with absolutely no seasoning. So they were very disappointing too. What saved the day was the walleye and fries. The fries were excellent, and the walleye was good. It wasn't seasoned at all, but tasted a lot better once I put some salt and pepper on it. Had a nice light breading on it but again, no seasoning, so it really required some pretty heavy salt and pepper. So I'm just kind of disappointed that the star of the show was the french fries Service was very friendly and prompt. The place looks a little rundown and doesn't really have much of an atmosphere. Linwood is supposed to be well known for walleye fishing, so they could've decorated the place along those lines and had a theme. Look like they had a decent selection of good quality liquor. Decent name brands. I'm gonna give it a three star, but part of me feels like that's a little bit of a stretch
