I love a real New York slice but I prefer Neapolitan style and this seems like a blend of the two. The pizzas are tiny (not unexpected for cauli crust) but at a $17 and $20 price point, what a joke. The antipasto salad was $14 but came to us in a tiny take out container. This barely fed us. I don't know how long they've been here, but I hope they stick around. Found this pizza joint while on my last trip to Saginaw. Was out there for a graduation a few months back. By the time we arrived in town, many eateries were already closed or their kitchens were closing. Luckily Milano's was open later that evening. In the realm of fast food pizza, this is a solid winner. I would choose them over fast food chains (Domino's, LC, Papa John's) easily. Plenty of tasty and appetizing options to choose from. Hot & ready in the time allotted. Keep them going, Saginaw.

My Wife is a huge pizza fan. She could eat it every day. So I mentioned in passing that this might be a different type of setting. And it was indeed. Super clean. Red and black all the way through. We both ordered a beer and My Wife got a personal pan pizza. It was eight dollars with two dollars per topping. I ordered the Michigan chicken, cherry salad. We had got there around five and the place was steadily filling up as we sat. Mary, our waitress was very knowledgeable and kind. We felt fairly good about what we had ordered. But let me tell you once we got it, it blew our minds. My wife's pizza was outstanding. She said maybe the best she's ever had. I rolled my eyes and then she offered me a bite. And it was. Truly. A lot of times when you order pizza it's falling off of the crust. It's uneven. This was perfection. She couldn't believe it. Frankly neither could I. The crust was soft and you couldn't tell it from the toppings. No separation nothing falling off and cooked so well. My chicken cherry salad is a favorite in Michigan and they did it right. Each portion was great and more than enough for the both of us. We talked about it the rest of the night. If you have the chance, make sure you visit. It's one of a kind and one of the best experiences we have had for old favorites made new.

You mentioned going down the street to Subway. A best friend of mine was a District Manager at Subway for many years. She was in charge of many stores. Their meat sits for many months in a warehouse, before it gets sent to the stores. There are so many preservatives in their meat, it will not become rancid, for over six months. All lunch meat is processed to some extent but Jimmy Johns meat is so much fresher and beats Subway hands down. I loved their sandwiches and menu. Easy to read menu, short not a mixture of combinations that are like Wanigans. I've had their turkey sandwich, lettuce , tomatoes, onions, cucumbers and mayo. I never do this, but I was just so upset about the whole experience that I made an exception & went to their website to complain and upload a picture of my open-faced Beach Club with no avocado on it. I received an auto-generated email that said the franchise owner would get back to me within 48 hours & that was like 3 weeks ago. I believe this whole experience is unforgivable.
