No server. We sat down and waited 6 minutes for a server. There were 6 servers from what we could see. We did look around and see a lot of people waiting on food. Maybe the cook left? Burgers wings sandwiches fish breakfast they have a good menu I had a double cheeseburger and pub fries boulevard hot wings for an app.My daughter and my wife also had cheese burgers and pretzel bites for an app.Lets start with the pub fries I had with my burger...... they would have been delicious if they were hot but as soon as I got them i gave one to my 18 month old grandson that's how hot they were. Next the wings they were a batter dipped and fried style they were ok most of them had broken bones so it made them hard to eat but they were hot. I will start by saying, it's been over a year since I've been here. 2 stars because the service is great. Server was very attentive and the drinks were decent. Went here for a burger that I've heard is so good. I was extremely disappointed. I had 3 bites and ate the fries. I'm not sure if it wasn't seasoned but the flavor wasn't there. It basically tasted like a salad on a bun, the patty tasted just like unseasoned beef, bland as hell. A midland staple. Recently revamped and a little face lift adding windows, additional food items (pizza), etc. the food is O.K. They don't do anything great, or anything bad. Somewhat in the middle for everything (food, service, ambiance). The burger isn't what it use to be. All in all, a nice spot to grab a beer and hang out, maybe grab some wings and fries! read more

The woman behind the bar was very nice, she made a great whisky sour, and the place itself was lively with a super fun atmosphere and some fun group games like the trivia night that was happening tonight. Overall very well done. 10/10 I'll be back for sure. read more

A really good place for breakfast. They were very busy on a Saturday morning but the service was friendly and attentive.

Had not been here to eat in a dozen years or so over personal reasons with the owner. Decided to try it and will say the service was very good. Waitress was very friendly and on top of things which is refreshing these days The food was good. For bar food it was really good. The bread on steak sandwich was a tad burned and my wife's onion rings were ridiculous. Waitress had to go back and bring out more as they had four tiny ones on her plate with the burger. Then she only brought out three or four more. Appreciate her efforts but come one for the price you charge. Pops are $3 which is high for a bar and compared to other local spots and overall the prices were a bit high but that's pretty much everywhere these days. We'll give it another shot down the road and it's a nice change from the other local spots read more

I can't believe the first time I try out this place is after moving out of area, been there my whole life. Incredible service and super sweet staff, incredible drinks and burgers and my absolute favorite was the onion rings. Will circle back next time I'm in town which will be soon! read more

First time visit for myself and my family but we have heard good things about the breakfast. We were a group of 8. We did make a reservation Thursday morning. Loved the atmosphere and and the decor was very cool. Service was outstanding. I wish I could remember her name but she was on top of her game. No one waited for refills on their beverages. We had family in from out of town and she offered to take pictures so we could all be in a few of them. Thank you! As for the breakfast...best breakfast burrito I have ever had! My parents did omelettes, we had a couple of biscuits and gravy's and a couple of breakfast combos. We will definitely be back! read more

Just shocked at how Scott treated a customer. Walked in there this morning, ordered a 3 egg omelette. Food came out, the omelette was hard as a rock, eggs were burnt, and I politely (my friends work there) asked 'can you guys remake this so the eggs are not so hard or burnt?". The rude short waitress grudgingly took the food away. 2 minutes later she stormed out, threw the plate on the table and said in a quiver 'Scott said he's not making this. He said you should have said how you wanted your omelette cooked first.' So I paid my bill (for food I didn't even eat!) and told them they will never see me again. We cannot keep allowing establishments like this get away with horrible service because their restaurant is a hole in the wall. I wasn't asking for anything free, I didn't take multiple bites of my food & expect miracles. I simply asked for them to make an omelette that was edible for human consumption. read more

I do have to rate this a 5 by far! We come from out of state for my grandma's funeral and reunite with my dad's old friends and The Boulevard Lounge is still the same good ol' hang out as back in my dad's days! This place is great. My boyfriend and I come here when we are craving beers and bar food. I like their jalapeño poppers a lot as an appetizer. Their chicken tenders are also great. I like when they are crispy and well breaded, and they do a great job. As a Canadian, I appreciate a good side of gravy for my fries. So when I'm looking for it, this is the place I go. Their brown gravy is amazing. My boyfriend really likes their burgers and burritos. Their wings are pretty decent too. Good service and I like playing their pull tabs or scratches while I wait. The portions are huge (hubs and I usually split something and it's plenty) and the service had always been very friendly. Yes it's a bar but in the morning, although busy, it's a nice atmosphere. Maybe we went at a bad time, and maybe they changed the rules. The one time we went my brother was still in elementry school and i was in my last year in high school. We had never been and had heard the burgers were suppose to be out of this world, we knew it was a bar and had gone in when it was not heavy drinking time. We were sat at a table quickly, seeing there were maybe two othere people there and both at the bar. I just happened to look to one side and was like oo arcade games. We played a lot of games and were up for sinking a few quarters into the machines after dinner. My brother and i were fast eaters we were odd kids and it just was the way we were. We all ordered burgers when i noticed a sign near the games. "Kids not aloud to wonder with out adult or going to restroom." Now i can understand during high bar time with a lot of drnk adults you want to be around your kids. But this time no one was in there so we thought ok maybe we could go up to the games. So my mother asked our waitres if my brother and i could play some of the games, after chocking down very dry and bland burgers. She rolled her eyes and in a pissy bitchy voice said "only people drinking at the bar were aloud to play the games. No one under 21 were aloud." I tell you, its sad when you see your younger brothers heart sink because someone was being a foul mothed mean person. Needless to say we left right after paying and went to have ice cream somewhere else. Things could have changed this was back in 2003 and times change. But because of this we never went back and we never recomend it. read more

It's a bar but it's clean, well-ventilated, and the food is super! I know my burgers and this place has the best in Midland County. I'll admit, I have never tried anything else from their menu because they are "known" for burgers and fries. I have been going there for about 40 years (honestly) and it is consistently the best. I have to drive about 25 miles so I don't get there that often but when we want an excellent burger, the Boulevard is what comes to mind. There are always "best of the best" awards in the local newspapers in many categories. The "Bully" Burgers (as they are commonly called) have always won for the best hamburgs. Even in the Saginaw judging for "best of the best," Midland's Bully Burgers at the Boulevard Lounge have been as one of the top ones even though it's not even in the county! I can't say anything more than to say that never, ever have I been disappointed. It's THE BEST burger in Midland County! And if you're looking at the Tri-County area, I'd say it's one of the two best. (Farmers Home Tavern in Hemlock is as good.) I find I vote for the one I've had most recently. read more

It is what it is, and this is a local neighborhood bar. The bar fare is pretty good, including some of the best wings in Midland. Burgers are hot and juicy as well, but stay away from the fried apps. We got the fried cauliflower and for $7, you should get more than 8 bite-size pieces. read more

We've been to The Bully a couple of times now. Our first visit was to try the acclaimed burgers. My assessment? Better than many, perhaps best in Midland, but not " the" best. So there's that. We have not tried the rest of the menu, but there's a nice variety in the daily posted specials. Service has been great both times.It's been a pretty busy place both times We've visited. Our server was Barbie and was rude from the moment we sat down. I needed a few extra minutes with me menus in which she scoffed at me. Every time I would say something she did not seam to pay attention so when I repeated myself you snapped back that she had heard me the first time. Service was terrible the last time I ate here. The waitress didn't check on us much and switched one of the cups with another table's when refilling. She also overcharged us for my meal, but after waiting so long for the check we didn't even want to argue. Food was only ok, in the past it has been better. Toast was pretty good. read more

Oh, the Boulevard (Bully). We used to go there and have a great time. However, they eliminated Karaoke and the place got dead.. so we stopped going there. The food is okay but nothing special. The wait staff is okay. Once, one of the people at our table said they would cover the bill. We assumed they would tip at least 15-20%, like we do. But they only gave roughly $5 for a $60 bill. The waitress came back and said "You need this $5 more than I do, so keep it." That was highly inappropriate. So, we kept coming back (When they still had karaoke) weekend after weekend and never tipped her. If she had the nerve to say that, we couldn't justify ever tipping her. That $5 comment cost her more than $200 or more in tips from us. I rated their Lounge a 2/5 because they eliminated Karaoke and because of that one waitress. When they had Karaoke and we got a good waitress, I would rate it a 4/5. The food is okay, standard bar food. But still worth a 4/5. read more
