It was a cold and rainy Sunday after late morning service The restaurant was warm and cozy inside it had a nice fireplace with a cozy warm fire.we were greeted then given a table in a close to empty dining room. After studying the menu I noticed that everything was kinda of expensive 5- jumbo wings $16,8oz burger $14,I ordered buffalo chicken Mac and cheese ~$16,my grandson a kids burger ~8,my daughter 5~ chicken tenders with blue cheese Coleslaw ~$15 and my wife a patty melt with siracha fries ~$15 a Diet Coke and a chocolate milk 2-waters $14 tip $90 total not as bad as I thought. Now on to the food the wings were a show stopper some of the best I ever had! Worth the money you might ask yourself. In a splurge I suppose so but I wouldn't eat them every time I go there because it's not enough for a meal it would probably be enough with fries or Mac and cheese or something.the siracha fries were awesome by the way as well all the food was really good and hot and fresh possibly because it was empty in there but we will definitely eat there again 8.1 out of 10 read more

Nice place, service was fast and friendly. She was new to the job but did very good. I had the Bluegill with potato balls, green beans and Chicken festa soup. Every was top notch, soup was excellent, Bluegill were large and cooked perfectly, the potato balls awesome and green beans were fresh. We ordered takeout. The perch platter was horrible. It was a very small portion (for the price) and was full of bones. It also had a very fishy taste to it (more than fish usually has) and after eating it I had diarrhea and became very nauseous. The pulled pork was ok but none of the items we purchased was really worth the cost and I do not recommend eating here if grease bothers you at all. What a great find!!! The menu has a lot to offer and the items are made in house!! The mojito was excellent! Lobster Mac and Cheese and Buffalo Chicken Mac and Cheese was AMAZING!!! Also had calamari appetizer.... Next time saving room for dessert because the crème brûlée donut with ice cream and homemade caramel sauce sounds amazing! They were busy but the place runs like a well oiled machine and Allie B was on top of it and we always had drinks and food came out timely! DEFINITELY A PLACE TO STOP!!! Think twice about going to the The Creek if you have a Food Allergy. Tonight I was told they could not accommodate my need. The Creek had been a favorite until tonight. Unfortunately, after I had let the wait staff know of a food allergy and placed an order, the wait staff returned to inform me that the kitchen could not meet my need and the restaurant would only serve me a salad. When the friend I was dining with confronted the manager, the manager doubled down, then asked me if McDonald's meets my request. What an odd question! Is the Creek on par with McDonald's ? When we left the manager abruptly told us to call the owner. Unbeknownst to us, the manager was on vacation (informing us), doubled down on the why of refusing to serve me, and accused my friend who had made the call of bothering her at 8:00 at night. It would have gone a Very long way if the manager had apologized and offered to make it right. Then it wouldn't have progressed to the owner, who apparently was on vacation and we were bothering but we're also told to call. It would have been nice if the manager had apologized and offered to make it right. I'm not sure where customer service has gone, but an apology goes along way, as does an offer to correct the problem in some way. Lucky's Steakhouse gained 3 customers tonight because The Creek refused to try to accommodate a reasonable request due to a food allergy. Our first visit - Absolutely Amazing food! Our table of 5 tried some of everything including Mammoth Wings, Perch, 4 cheese Mac&Cheese steaks and burgers. Portions were generous. Friendly, family atmosphere with happy children. Our Server was sweet, charming and willing to repeat the sides 6 times with a smile. It might be considered a little loud and we did have to wait quite awhile before our food arrived BUT ... the food is so delicious and homemade, I'd never take a star off! If I could this place 10 stars- I would. Originally I discovered this place on a whim- I was hiking in the area and wanted a Bloody Mary. I ended up meeting the most friendly bartender, that made a top notch spicy Bloody Mary. I got some pretzel sticks to go, and went about my way. Upon getting home, the food was SO good I created a tradition of doing a hike and stopping here every early summer. The pretzel sticks.. delish. Queso.. superb. The ranch.. high quality. My husband and I ordered burgers today, and both were delicious. I actually got a Turkey burger, and it was amazing. The crown jewel? The sweet potato fries. Hands down the best I've ever had. If you're in the midland area.. a must stop. Great service. Great patio area. The service was good. The fried food had "a lot" of breading on it. I wanted to have the wings, but at $3.00 a piece and coming out of a smoker, I passed. I did try to buy one so I could try them, but they would not sell just one. So I'd say typical bar food. read more

Went here for the first time last night. The place was hopping for a Tuesday night! We had great service with Ally (sp) and phenomenal food. We started with morel mushrooms on garlic crostini (so good). There were 3 of us and dinner was Ribeye with mushrooms and onions, asparagus and potato balls, the Halibut special with risotto and asparagus and Perch dinner with potato balls. So yummy!!! Had dinner here with my wife on Saturday 12/27/25. The server was Allie B. This restaurant used to be one of my favorites in this area. After arriving, we were seated by a host who did not look like a host. Wore a flannel shirt without a name tag. She wasn't friendly And seriously was not anyone that I would want to be the face of my establishment. Place was half empty at about 4:30 pm on a Saturday. We waited for about 10 minutes to have a waitress come to our table. The waitress apologized for the wait and we asked her to take our order. I ordered the Maui burger and my wife ordered the Patty Melt. When the food arrived it looked OK but when trying to cut the burger in half, I couldn't believe how difficult it was cutting through it with a sharp, serrated knife. I understood why though as I tried biting into the burger and the meat was beyond tough. No flavor or juice in the meat. My wife's sandwich was the same way. I ate a few bites and could not eat anymore. I explained to the waitress that it was the toughest piece of meat I had ever eaten. She asked if I wanted anything to replace it. I said no because we didn't have time to wait for another replacement and because my wife's sandwich was tough also, It didn't inspire a lot of confidence in the "chef" getting it right. I also noticed another customer near our table who had also ordered a burger and was having similar problems with cutting and chewing the burger. I don't mind paying $15 for a burger if it tastes like a burger. When it tastes like cardboard and has the consistency of a hockey puck, no thanks. Paid full price but scratching this place off our list for good. Something has changed here, so dine at your own risk. read more

I come here pretty often. Got to say last couple of visits were disappointing. Taco Salad with chicken and few days ago. Served ice cold. Today ordered chicken cordon blue dinner. Came with no veggies as described. No gravy for mash potatoes. The chicken was burned . Server tried to make it right but my phone was getting cold waiting for the replacements. The clam chowder is the best item on the menu with a great unique taste. It is a very loud and crowded atmosphere resembling more of a bar than a restaurant. You will not be able to talk to the person sitting next to you without raising your voice. After several visits the food never seems hot when delivered to the table. Really nothing special when looking from the street. Seems to have quite a low profile but I was pleasantly surprised. Fabulous margaritas!! Need I say more!? But I will, by saying the food was great and service was very good. The restaurant is a comfortable atmosphere. Not too noisy and even being seated next to another table of four we had no issues with conversation. You can set at a table or the bar and are able to watch whatever game is on the TV's. I have a feeling parking might get crowded on busy nights but it is a big parking lot. I had the pulled pork which was very tasty. I ordered the cole slaw with it. For the record I like cole slaw (obvious since I ordered it!) but they have blue cheese slaw and it was just too blue cheesey for me. Our server was only too happy to replace it with something else (side salad with French dressing..very good). Others in our party ordered the blt - huge sandwich, plenty of toppings and good homemade chips, chimichanga - again, huge and the chips on the side with cheese were yummy, and lobster mac and cheese - good size portion, creamy and tasty. I believe the portion sizes were very adequate for the cost (sorry I don't know the total bill since our friends picked up the tab!). And did I mention the delicious margaritas? My brother, sister in law, girl friend and I had dinner there tonight. I will say that we sat at the bar waiting for a table and the gal behind the bar was very good at her job and I will say down right impressive. She really knew what she was doing. Then we got our table. My brother and I were looking forward to the sea bass that they had advertised. I will tell you it was terrible. I tried one bite and refused to eat the dried out and tough piece of fish. My brother and I Both sent the meals back. We asked to talk to the cook or chef but the waitress said they would not come out and see us. Sea Bass should have melted in my mouth but not this meal. It also was the highest priced item on the menu. Needless to say I sent the entire meal back. It was replaced with a small piece of pan fried fish. Not sure what it was but when this was served it was the fish only. None of the sides that I had ordered. Then upon asking where the sides were they were brought to me in a take out box. Needless to say the meals and the way we were treated has made me check The Creek Grill off of my list. I do not recommend them. read more

Great idea to add igloos and expand seating in groups. However, we waiting longer than 15 minutes for the heat to be turned on and 20 minutes for service to get drink orders started. This is always a great place to eat, but I'd recommend avoiding peak times as there doesn't seem to be adequate staffing.
