Great food. Enjoyed a burger and some pork tacos. Great beer selection and also some Red Keg liquor. Had a Bloody Mary. Nice place to dine inside or outside on their patio.

It's a nice local brewery. lots of parking, nice environment (outdoor seating if not too cold). Definitely a decent place for beer drinkers, not so much for mixed drinks. food menu is a bit skimpy for bar type of menu. They were all out of wings at 6pm on a Thursday night? also limited staff, so service is on the slower side

For atmosphere, this place easily gets 6 stars for promptness and quality, it's more like 1-2 stars so I'm splitting the difference and giving this place a 3. First, we moved out of Midland 7 years ago and we're back for a visit. Wow, this place has changed! We arrived at 5pm on a Thursday evening and was told it was a 15-20 min wait for a table. Fine, no problem. Our toddlers were having a blast running around in the grass with their balls. Also, they had a live band which helped make the wait more enjoyable. Although the restaurant can't really control this, patrons lingered for forever even after finishing drinking and eating. That 15-20 minutes turned out being 57 minutes. We sat and ordered our food and drinks all at once. It took 25 minutes for us to get our drinks (a rose, a Diet Coke, and 2 kids sprites). We had already been waiting almost an hour for a seat and then 25 minutes for drinks, it was a bit long. We actually had to flag someone down to ask where our drinks were. We ordered the corn dip which was flavorless and the chips were over salty. But it at least came out quickly. Then we ordered 2 burgers and a hotdog. The waitress was nice enough to bring out an extra tray, without asking, so we could split the hotdog for our kids we were asked how we wanted our burgers cooked (medium) but both were well done. Thankfully, there was enough topping on them that it masked some of the dryness. Overall, they have something super special with the atmosphere here but the food left so much to be desired. Once the weather cools and the outside is no longer available, there's nothing to really bring you to this place.

Very good wings. Pitcher of beer wasn't bad either

Food was decent. Service was very slow. Extremely slow. 2 hours to get dinner is too long.

Ask the Community - Midland Brewing Company

Are dogs allowed for outside seating?

Hi Jami! Dogs are allowed on the patio as long as they are on a leash and well-behaved. We just ask that owners please clean up after any mess they may leave behind in the lawn area. Hope to see you soon!

Some (or all) of their ciders are JUST yeast and apples, so there's no extra sugar added that makes it undrinkable. The two running the tasting room (Saturdays only) were a pleasure to talk to about cider and craft beer. They even gave us a tour of their facility without us even asking. We ended up doing a flight of ciders, getting a pint, and taking home two bottles. Glad to support them!

The owners are super friendly and knowledgeable of their product, which was conjured up and created in their basement! My current favorite is Deliberate Serendipity, but don't be surprised if they run out or have rotated something else on tap. I also love most of their red ciders, for example, The Red Queen! That's right, RED ciders because they grow and harvest red fleshed apples, therefore they have red cider!! Have you ever seen a red fleshed apple before? Me neither till I came to Forgotten Ciders! They do offer snack foods like chips & dip & have Michigan made pop available for non-alcoholic beverages. I do wish they offered cider donuts or candied apples, even if it were seasonal! Yum! Maybe I'll talk with the owner It is quite a drive out, but worth it! Just look for the signs when driving in the Midland area! Cheers
