    Blueberry Slushie

Hayman's Dari Bar is the coolest place in Hebron. It's true literally. This is a small town ice cream place. It has a good size menu. They have slushies and hot food too. I felt like something cold. It has several slushies flavors including blueberry and raspberry. These are pretty cheap at about $1.50 for the large size. If you need some real food you can get that also. The menu includes greasy roadside shit like chicken tenders. If you're like me you'll stick to what they advertise. This is a frozen treat place. If you're hot and in Hebron go to Hayman's Dari Bar. It's really the only interesting thing in town. There's also entertainment provided by the local yahoos.

Driving through Hebron I saw Hayman's and not being one to be able to pass up on ice cream, I stopped to also suprise my son. I thought this would be one of those old school, nice people, homemade joints, boy was I wrong! The girls were both rude, telling me all they had was soft serve while tons of options were listed and my son and I were contimplating if we should get blueberry, marshmellow or any of the other cool flavors written on their board. Nope, it was vanilla, chocolate or strawberry. Great, well telling my son nevermind the ice cream and leaving is never a good option if you want to have an enjoyable day so i asked for a small cone, nope only large...awesome... So I got strawberry and chocolate, my son strawberry and vanilla and while the ice cream was pretty good for being out of a mashine, very creamy and milky tasting, the cone was horrible and I just wasn't pleased with the service or lack thereof, next time I'll keep driving....

It's the same it's always been. New owners but they still serve the great hot dogs, burgers, brats and beefs that you come to expect.

Walking distance, affordable, quick and always delicious! The new coat of paint, payment system and owners just add to the original charm.

Love this local ice cream shop! Love getting their shredded chicken and the banana splits in the cup! Can't beat their prices.

It's located in what feels like the middle of nowhere near Buckeye Lake. It's almost like I summoned it from my imagination, because I saw it on the side of the road right around the end of the day when I just needed some place to get a drink and a dessert. I sat at the bar, and the owner, Ben, served me himself! They have a full bar with lots of creative cocktail options, but I opted for wine. Ben happens to have a deep love of wine, and he gave me a couple of sample tastes of some of the special ones he had at the bar. We talked wine for a bit (he personally sources the wine he offers at Hereinafter from all over the world). It was such a nice visit -- just chatting about wine while drinking wine -- and definitely made my night. I like my wine dry, but I like my desserts sweet, so I got the warm peach cobbler. It was served bubbling hot in a little cast iron skillet, topped with a dollop of sweet cream. It was delicious, and it felt ultra decadent to eat while drinking wine. The atmosphere at Hereinafter is classy and cool and modern with a nod to mid-century decor (there's a plastic pink flamingo at the entrance). If you don't want to sit at the bar like I did, there are also booths and tables, so lots of places to sit and enjoy a drink and a meal with friends.

I'm not a big ice cream person, but I do love sweets, especially a sweets shop with history. I ordered a banana split. Though, it was difficult to decide what to order! This place has a peaceful vibe, but the signage is a little chaotic -- it's like walking up to a Dr. Bronner's bottle. I had to stand there for a bit and read everything while the poor girl behind the counter waited for me to get my bearings. (Luckily I was the only one in the shop at the time.) There are different colored signs everywhere, listing daily specials, new items, and things you can buy that aren't ice cream, like bags of ice and local honey. The banana split was delicious: A perfectly ripe banana split between two scoops of ice cream -- I chose vanilla and chocolate. It's topped with whipped cream, crushed nuts, and a cherry on top. It's one of those desserts where you lose track of time when you eat it, or at least I did. All of my concentration went toward eating that magnificent ice cream concoction as quickly as possible. I decided to shovel it into my face on the big porch, which overlooks the Buckeye Lake canal. There is also seating indoors, too. Weldon's is a must-visit if you're in the Buckeye Lake area!
