raspberry sorbet, blue moon and Milky Way. not the exact names

This was a great find when I was sent to the area for a work moment! The family that owns it is all inclusive, from mom and dad serving customers to the preteen ringing up orders with parental supervision. The sign is pretty small so make sure you don't miss it. The town has stipulations on the look that each business can present. They are working on a neon sign to make it more seen. The place is pretty small but there are a few spots to sit outside. Let's get into the ice cream. I went for the sample dish with 3 flavors. Blue moon, raspberry sorbet and a Milky Way type. ALL were fantastic! but blue moon stole my heart. It tastes like fruity pebbles. The ice cream is the Ashby brand and it was so good it had me looking up where to get some more when I am back home!

    More logo'd merch!

Love this new place in Johnstown! We have a great frozen custard place in town, but it's nice to have a regular ice cream option! Some great unique flavors. I tried a few (sampled some and then got scoops). There's not much seating inside. Owners re very friendly and welcoming! Our kids love this place too because of the flavors, welcoming atmosphere, and the location in the center of town. This will be great for nice weather days and downtown events/activities! We will come back soon!

Bench outside to sit on. There were chairs too.

We stopped in here today while visiting family to get some ice cream. We ordered scoops of butter pecan, coffee rush hour, and a cheesecake on a stick dipped in chocolate with nuts. We noticed they were also serving wafffles. Our ice cream was delicious and the service was friendly and prompt. Also the prices were very reasonable. We hope to stop in here again!

Loved the ice cream and great service. Named after the mastodon founded in our town. Small and cozy.

He's the one who suggested Wario's Way for the steak sandwich last time. The restaurant was pretty full and the patio had many happy patrons! This sandwich is a foot long and nearly 4" wide! The first thing I smell when I open up the halves is the pickle of homemade giardinera, solid amount of lunch meat and nice crisp from the shreduce (iceberg lettuce) and the relish. Be ready to unhinge your jaw to eat this sandwich! This is not something you can eat and drive at the same time, it's messy, but that's what makes it delicious. Thank you Wario's for another great food experience!

A staff member helped me right away. I ordered the steak sandwich wario's way and the house spuds. It's a pretty hefty sandwich! My only issue was the cheese whiz. This is the typical way to eat Philly cheesesteaks, but I didn't love the flavor. Not a bad thing! Really just a preference thing! I've had cheesesteaks with provolone which is more of the flavor profile I'm looking for. The house spuds were phenomenal! Well seasoned, crunchy and it came with a nice savory mustard-like sauce. Seems like some of the other sandwiches are popular too. I would be interested in trying those out next time. They were featured in diners, drive ins, and dives. So I'm happy we have an excellent sandwich shop like this in town!

It's been awhile since hearing their name, so I was happy to get a chance to try out their Philly-style cheesesteaks when I was at HHBG for an OSU game. I ordered The New Guy, subbed chicken for the steak. The cheese whiz mixed with the grilled chicken chunks and green peppers and onions was primo; creamy and dreamy. I didn't even bother with their special sauce; it was innecessary, imo; the sweetness wasn't a good ting-to-yang thang. And the bread is so so sooo good: Made fresh in-house daily, soft and pliable, a great carrier mechanism. My only suggestion would be to make the sandwiches more compact. Mine basically all fell apart as soon as I attempted to unwrap some of the white sandwich paper. Lost a little bit of my hyped anticipation. All in all, I'd definitely get a cheesesteak from Philgeddaboutit again next time I'm at Hey Hey.

The food came out fast, which was great. The pizza was decent, and I ordered the meatball sub, which was good and satisfying. It's a nice spot overall, relaxed and easy for a casual dinner. Whether it's a mid-week dinner or a weekend hangout, they managed to nail the "elevated neighborhood gem" vibe perfectly. The Food The star of the show is undoubtedly the wood-fired pizza. You can taste the authenticity in the crust--perfectly charred with that signature smoky finish you can only get from a real wood oven. The toppings are fresh, and the balance of flavors shows they aren't just making pizza; they're perfecting it. On the lighter (but equally delicious) side, the fish tacos are a standout. It's rare to find a wood-fired joint that treats seafood with this much respect. The fish is always flaky and fresh, complemented by bright, crisp toppings that make for a perfect contrast to the rich, smoky pizzas. The Service What truly sets Elliot's apart, though, is the bar staff. The service here is consistently top-notch. The team is incredibly knowledgeable--whether you're looking for a specific craft beer pairing or a recommendation from their cocktail list, they know the menu inside and out. It's the kind of place where the staff makes you feel like a regular from your very first visit. Final Verdict: Excellent food, a great tap list, and a team that actually knows their stuff. Elliot's is easily a 5-star experience.
