I love Waffle House, and since we don't have one in Michigan, I try to grab breakfast when I'm near one. Fortunately, Findlay has a Waffle House and it did not disappoint. the place is open 24 hours, and since I was up early, I needed to get a solid breakfast before hitting the road. I came in here and for a Tuesday, the place was pretty steady with traffic, which is always a good sign. I got my usual of 2 eggs scrambled, white toast and hash browns with their delicious apple jelly. Food was on point, and my bill was only $6.14! I know they serve other food here, but I'm a breakfast lady, so I had to stop in here. Service was quick, but my server kept forgetting stuff, and I had to ask for the jelly that she forgot for my toast, and the hot sauce she kept forgetting. No big deal, but kind of annoying. ALL-STAR Waffle House location, folks! I suspect other reviews that rated this location poorly visited when there were less-than-desirable employees running the show, because today when my partner and I made a quick stop on our way home around 1pm, the Dream Team was ON THE BALL. Communication is KEY in a spot like Waffle House, and it was great to see all of the employees clearly speaking (not arguing/fussing/gossiping/etc.) about the work at hand AND keeping each other accountable in a kind and professional way. Everyone was working here: everyone was keeping the line clean, everyone was washing dishes, everyone was bussing their stations, everyone was taking out trash, and everyone was listening to the line cooks. Jabree and Shaudee are killing the game on the grill. Not only are they working in synchronized precision cooking AND filling the prep line, they're calling out to the servers, "Hot food here!" when a prepared plate sits ignored for any more than 5 seconds after they finish making it. At one point, Shaudee called "Hot food here!" two or three times for one plate, then went looking for the server. No cold food on her watch! I wasn't mad! Our server, Morgan, got my order right the first time. She has a great smile, an even better attitude, and was clear with Jabree about how my special request was to be served (I heard her call it twice for confirmation). Seriously, whoever trained this crew did their job well. There's a sense of urgency, but not panic, and that results in customers getting their food quickly and correctly. You're not waiting more than 5-7 minutes for your food at this location. Period. Honestly, Jabree did such a great job with my hashbrowns (scattered smothered covered, double onions, fried hard), that I had to take a picture. They don't spilt their tips at Waffle House, so when your order is right (and tasty!) consider tipping the cook directly like you know I did! If you can catch the Dream Team at this spot, you're in for a treat, no matter where you sit, so call ahead and find out when Morgan, Tink, Lynette, Shaudee, and Jabree are holding it down, and they'll hold YOU down. read more

Big fan of Waffle House and really enjoyed this one! Came in here on a Wednesday morning, sat right away and had coffee and waters in hand FAST. The server was extremely nice to 3 out of towners and the food was delicious. I always get hashbrowns all the way, with gravy and chili, and adding a pecan waffle to it was perfection. The food Everyone was so nice at this location as well, multiple servers had inquired about a fun graphic shirt was wearing and I felt very at home. My friend who was with us was VERY happy with his first experience at Waffle House and will patronize them again. Keep up the good work! read more

I've been to a few waffle houses when I lived down in Kentucky and never saw the rage on why people love this place or seek it out. We don't have them here in Michigan so to me I guess it's an oddity when you get a chance to drive by one on your way to explore new places. So my buddy really want to stop here because he hasn't heard waffle house in many years and wanted to see if it reminded him of what he loved about the place. So of course we stopped and got some breakfast on our way to Cincinnati and he was so happy to have the food that he likes eating once in a while. I will say this was probably the cleanest waffle house I've ever been to and it's probably one of the nicest staff I've ever dealt with also. As someone who doesn't really care about waffle house I actually enjoyed my meal it was of course just a simple meal but you can't argue when you're paying less than five bucks for a meal and you're full. Of course it's nothing fancy but in my opinion it is a step above Denny's. Maybe Michigan will get one of these eventually but who knows I think it would do so well in this area. read more

Likely the best (cleanest) of the WH's I've visited. I had been missing Waffle House as I no longer live in the South, when I remembered there were a few locations in Ohio! I visited Columbus for an event yesterday, and insisted on having Waffle House before I traveled back to Michigan. I drove an hour from I71 to I75 to eat at this location. I wasn't disappointed. My pecan waffle, country ham and sweet tea had me humming all the way back to Detroit. :) read more

This was not anything special. With a name like Waffle House you would think there would be more than two waffles. No oatmeal or fruit. This is more like your basic burger dive. The Waffle house...a no frills..breakfast restaurant. A staple in the midwest and southern United States. If you hadn't guessed..waffles is the main choice here. It just doesn't seem that there is too many choices to go for. You can have the plain waffle..with your choice of toppings (Chocolate Chips, Peanut butter, Blueberry or Strawberry) or the Pecan Waffle with the above toppings...not too many choices that names itself after its waffles. Other than that...you can get the usual breakfast fare. Steak and eggs, omlettes, biscuits and gravy, texas melts..etc.. The service here is very friendly and the coffee is good.
