Crescent rolls were amazing!!! Definitely see why they are greedy with giving them out! Watermelon margarita was so good, also ordered more watermelon syrup and I don't like margaritas!!! Delicious comfort food. Honey butter croissants served before the meal are a bonus. Particularly love the country fried steak, chicken fried chicken and the chicken tenders; all are freshly breaded, so fresh and crispy. Sides are plentiful each one a comfort food that hits the spot. Let's start with the bad. It's pretty standard that your salad comes out before your meal unless the customer requests it at the same time. I understand it was a bit busy but that is unacceptable. Today, observed bartender coughing periodically yet using shirt as a barrier is unacceptable. It's OKAY to use a mask during this time to protect customers, business populations . We went out of our way to have dinner here while traveling, as this chain has been recommended to us and not located where we live. On a Sunday night at 7:00 it was very crowded, and half the patrons were children, so it was very noisy. The restaurant felt in disarray, with litter on the floors and dirty tables. It was not what we expected. It took quite a while for a server to arrive so we decided to place our full order. I ordered the chicken pot pie which came with a salad, and also iced tea. I will only write this review based on my food, as my husband had an issue and he writes his own reviews. My salad arrived in a timely manner, and it's a nice salad, not just lettuce. My pot pie arrived extremely hot, which I love. When I cracked the top to let the heat out of the pie, I could smell seafood. Inside there were very large chunks of chicken and also vegetables, but the pie had a seafood taste, so not sure why that was. It was decent, but the smell kept bothering me. Our server may have been new, but he was not very good. He never asked to refill drinks and never checked back about the issue we had. We had to ask another server to find him in order to get our check. Overall I was disappointed. We aren't chain restaurant people, but had heard such good things and expected more.
