This was my first experience at Cheddars and I would return in a heartbeat. The food was hot and plentiful and very tasty. Our waitress was attentive and on the ball providing refills before being asked and checking on needs several times during the meal. The floors and tables were clean and well stocked. We drive from Toledo just to go here. The Country Fried Steak is AMAZING! Some of the best I've had. Chicken tenders are also excellent. Complimentary honey butter croissants. Delicious comfort food. Honey butter croissants served before the meal are a bonus. Particularly love the country fried steak, chicken fried chicken and the chicken tenders; all are freshly breaded, so fresh and crispy. Sides are plentiful each one a comfort food that hits the spot. Service is ok, if not a little rushed. I would have given a 5 star, but I really wish they'd give the place a well needed deep cleaning or perhaps even an updated remodel. We have not visited in quit some time, but we were in Findlay. Everything was perfect. The onion rings were lightly breaded and great! I had the buffalo chicken wrap and it was wonderful! We will definitely start coming more often! Prices are very reasonable for all the food you get! read more

The 6 oz steak was cooked medium as ordered but had gristle in several bites. My wifes steak however was well done which she ordered medium. and the mashed potatoes were a small ice cream scoop. We went out of our way to have dinner here while traveling, as this chain has been recommended to us and not located where we live. I will only write this review based on my food, as my husband had an issue and he writes his own reviews. My salad arrived in a timely manner, and it's a nice salad, not just lettuce. My pot pie arrived extremely hot, which I love. When I cracked the top to let the heat out of the pie, I could smell seafood. Inside there were very large chunks of chicken and also vegetables, but the pie had a seafood taste, so not sure why that was. It was decent, but the smell kept bothering me. Our server may have been new, but he was not very good. He never asked to refill drinks and never checked back about the issue we had. We had to ask another server to find him in order to get our check. Overall I was disappointed. We aren't chain restaurant people, but had heard such good things and expected more.
