The lane next to me served 3 people who then pulled up after me.. I would have backed out but someone was behind me. Now I get to the pickup window. Tell the person the name and DOB for the prescription, three times. She tells me there is no prescription. I ask her to check again. She proceeds to have a conversation with another employee about a different customer.., let me wait yeah. Starts typing now and staring at her computer for another few minutes and then says, oh yeah here it is. Come back in an hour. Seriously. They suck. If you don't mind wasting your time, feel free to go to this pharmacy.

I actually drove to so many places as they have removed many MedSafe boxes in all of the Walgreen's locations. Randall's had the box but it was locked, however Kyra was awesome and helped me figure out how to dispose of them properly. I appreciated her friendliness, professionalism, and her sense of humor! My dr called it into HEB, however, with my insurance, it was going to be $105! That's a lot for me, especially after buying necessary things for my new house. My dr had sent a discount coupon but HEB didn't take it; and the other coupons my dr office found also didn't provide much (if any) discount for my rx. So they told me to contact Randalls as one of the coupons listed the price at different places and Randalls was the cheapest (HEB was the most expensive). Upon calling them, they set up an account for me then called HEB to have my prescription transferred over. They let me know they would call me when it was ready. I didn't hear anything until I called 2 days later. They let me know it was ready so I jumped out of bed and went to pick it up. When I arrived there was no ones else there. I stood at the wait here sign for 5-10 minutes without any acknowledgement while several people behind the counter went about their business. A woman finally came to the front saying she couldn't see me. Maybe she couldn't, but what about the guy who stood consistently in eye line sight of me?? But once she came to assist me, she was friendly and it was a quick and easy process. In the future, I will check the price of rxs here alongside HEB.

I have lived in Canyon Lake for several years. Today was…read morethe worst experience I ever had. I broke my foot while on vacation. I went to my GP and ended up with a rx for my pain . The pharmacist was so incredibly rude, refused to fill or transfer my rx to someone else. When I asked why she LIED, said that she called the other two pharmacies in our area and tried to tell me that she found out that I was getting narcotics from all 3 pharmacies in town. Not possible first of all because narcotics go into a database and she would automatically be able to see anywhere that I have not gotten any other narcotics. Also I can't possibly even do that because any doctor can also see that. I believe they are breaking the law on two things. 1. Calling other pharmacies and talking about me I believe breaks HIPPA laws. 2. She is refusing to follow Doctors orders and told me she just doesn't want to do it because she doesn't like me! Also 3 years ago I almost died because they didn't do their job and I was unresponsive and taken to the hospital. That tells me they didn't check for drug interactions! Please please, do not trust them with your life, nor your privacy. Oh, and yes I recorded the call and have her saying she called other pharmacies and talked to them about me. Thank God I have an attorney in the family lol. When karma hits you ma'am, I hope you remember my name and it never leaves your head Edit: so I talked with our attorney in the family and unfortunately it's past the statute of limitations. However what I can do is file a complaint with the Board of Pharmacists and it will stay on her permanent record. I urge anybody else who has had to deal with her abhorrent and unprofessional behavior do the same. The more people that file misconduct or any other complaints to the board of pharmacists the better. This can get her license revoked! And she can no longer put people's lives in danger nor their privacy . This woman's lack of compassion, unethical and irresponsible practices will stop and she will never practice as a pharmacist will stop and nobody will ever have to go through the pain and suffering I have gone through. Actually I'm going to call our family attorney and see if I can sue her for pain and suffering personally. After the pharmacist calling and verifying my prescription and information, she said she was getting right on it. Within 30 minutes, I received a text that it was ready! Zoom I go and pull right up to the window, and was met by a friendly face named Gabby, she helped me with a few other things that we needed and the pharmacist came to speak with me. Not only that, our feline specialist is in SA, and we were originally going to have to drive to medical center for the antibiotic (we live about 2 miles from Gruene Road Pharmacy). It was going to take about 4 days for them to make, and our cat had already went to the ER after nearly becoming septic from his UTI. I'm training to be a provider (for people) myself, so I knew that Gruene Road could compound medications, but for a cat? Now, Sir Skittles seems to be doing better than ever!! We are so thankful for Gruene Road Pharmacy!! Without them, who knows how Sir Skittles would be, or me for that matter, after driving back and forth to the medical center. Thank you for what you do!!
