True story; every year during the Christmas Holiday I cook gumbo for my family. During this time of year, I can never find okra at any of the local grocery stores that I shop at regularly like Kroger, Sprout, or HEB. However, it never fails when I head to Fiesta for fresh okra, they always, always, always have fresh bright green okra in stock! For this, I am truly grateful! Furthermore, I absolutely love their International aisle because they provide so many of the Jamaican and Latin seasonings that I love to use in my foods such as, scotch bonnet pepper powder/hot sauces, Adobo, Sazon, Sofrito, Curry powder, Jollof seasonings, and more. Moreover, they also sell hot cooked items that are very delicious and fulfilling. The prices for their cooked items are pretty reasonable, not too expensive. You can also find a young gentleman preparing freshly squeezed orange juice daily near the produce section. The cost for a container of this juice is $10 which may seem pricey, but you have to keep in mind that it's freshly squeezed without any added preservatives or sugars. It's all natural and healthier which means more bucks versus a regular jug of Minute Maid or Dole orange juice which contains all of the unwanted preservatives and added sugars at a cheaper price. Overall, Fiesta is my go-to for fresh okra and International items because they are always fully stocked and available. I gave them four stars based solely on how well they maintain their produce section and their International aisle.

They have very good store brands and numerous name brands. Great return policy, when (rarely) needed. You'll need a quarter for a cart, but you get it back when you return it. That way there aren't carts all beaten up or out in the lot. There is some compromise, but Aldi has been my go-to for years.

They are however Amazon equip and unless you're a body builder, definitely affordable lazy gal meal prep approved. I repeat, a meal fit to feed an entire family, 6.7lbs of quality food, 5 or so thick chicken breasts with two sides for 26.99. Unlike the rest of the world, I'm excited to see the lack of proteinification on every aisle. I too am on a plan requiring an unearthly amount of protein abd good fiber and Ofcourse they offer plenty of options, but the store seems organized in a way to primary support protein from whole or whole ish foods and generally includes options with minimal additives as opposed to the addition of whey protein to literally everything. I can't say I feel financially responsible when shopping at Whole Foods, but I can say that I appreciate a few tried and true staples that they seem to exclusively carry, and for that, meal prep, and consistently great service, I'm thankful.

So when I entered in (looking somewhat lost) the owner was kind enough to walk me through what was where and answer any questions I had. The fresh eggs and bacon were enough for me to come out again however they have so much selection fresh veggies, beef bacon (didn't even know that was a thing). The site is on the main page so I would suggest checking that out ahead of making your trip out here. The owner and staff were engaging and helped me with my selections. The staff was helpful and patient with all my questions which made it easier to make selections and make hurried choices. If you want to try out some fresh farm food I highly recommend Victoria's Natural Market especially the bone chicken broth (they have a beef broth), bacon, and farm eggs.

I like to point out the Clover Valley Coffee it tastes strong, and it is to me is as good as any other name brand, but with the advantage of a lower price. I was use to pay $4.00 more for a fancy brand when I decide to give a try. It might just be me, but I like and it tastes great. I also tried their cookies at they are as good as any other name brand at a lower price. The employees are very polite the store is very well organized not the clutter you encounter on some discounts stores . They never really communicated with the customers on why it closed for nearly a year. They just disappeared into thin air. Then all of a sudden it opened back up under ownership. I'll be the first to say that it's not the same at all. They don't have most of the things I used to purchase before the first one closed. For example, I used to always order Oreo vanilla shakes. Now they don't serve them anymore. I used to always stop there to get a few Powerade or Gatorade drinks for the road. They don't sell those anymore. The last time I stopped there for a Powerade, they said the only fruit-type drink available was Calypso. I reluctantly order one of the Calypso drinks and the kid proceeds to hand me a HOT one. It's 120 degrees outside and they give me a hot drink. I asked him why he gave me a hot Calypso and he said sorry and gave me a small cup of ice for my troubles. That's not going to win you any customers. I also forgot to add that I came up one morning to try the new chicken biscuit sandwich. This was around 830 or 845. So I was assuming that they'd have plenty of breakfast ready. Nope. They told me it was going to take 20 minutes to make the sandwich. Luckily I had to stop home and was going to pass by again, so I told them I'd be back. I reluctantly came back to get the sandwich. It was tasty, but it shouldn't have taken 20 minutes to make it. I'm willing to bet it won't take Tim Horton's 20 minutes to make a breakfast sandwich. I'm trying my best to support Farm Stores, but this new regime is clearly cutting corners on supplies and everything else the old regime had. It's not the same place as it was before.
