The power steering line blew on my 2003 PT Cruiser on July 30. I called and spoke to Sam to make an appointment, but was informed that they were booked into the week of 8/9 and was asked to call the following Monday to speak to Dan, that maybe they can get mto e in. In the meantime, a family member suggested to take the PT to their service repair a shop, a competitor of Heavy's, which I did not want to to but was somewhat pressured into it. BIG MISTAKE FOLKS. I made an appointment and had my car towed to this other shop and a few hours later they call to inform me that the frame is rotted and it's not worth doing the repair and that the car is not safe to drive and should be taken off the road, which I didn't buy for a minute, seeing that Heavy's has been performing maintenance on my car for a number of years, and that Dan or Sam would let me know beforehand if there was a major issue. So I spoke to Dan, explained the situation, and had the PT towed there. Dan, Sam and their staff were able to repair the power steering line and inspected the frame, which I was told was rusted, which is normal, but not to the the point where it is unsafe to drive. No safety issues at all. Dan, you, Sam and your staff are the best and I will never go anywhere else for service. Your work is much appreciated. AM read more
