In the middle of a long drive, we felt a pronounced wobble while driving our Jeep and happened upon Herb's to get it checked out. So glad we did! Joe and Maria quickly welcomed us, diagnosed the issue (was a worn tire down to the rim!), delivered a new set of 4 top quality tires, and installed them all within 2 hours. Professional service that included great advice on our vehicle's issues, and which things needed to be addressed now or later. Joe is a pro! While waiting in the lobby, Maria visited with our 5 year old daughter and even gifted her a beautiful wind chime before sending us on our way. Check out her shop in the lobby, it's very cute! We were so lucky to find Herb's before our tire blew, and so thankful to everyone at the shop for helping us so quickly! We are safely back on the road and appreciate the expert service in a place we don't know well. Thank you so much!

I did not want to report this to my insurance company to have my rates increase for an accident I did not cause. The first quote I got from a local shop in West Hartford was for $2,000 to fix the repairs (keep in mind the book value of the car is $3500) After telling the second shop that I really only wanted the bare bones done to make the car functional as I was going to pay out of pocket and planning to give it to my daughter who is turning 16 this year, they quoted me $3000 to get the car "functional." I then took it to T&J where they quoted me $890! Thats a huge difference! They were willing to work with me, listened to what I was looking for and offered GREAT service.
