The location is an industrial area, parking could be limited. Service was ok. You need to order your food via the QR code. Sat at the bar. The bar height is high compared to bar stools. Good selection of uniquely named beer. Nothing too fancy or that stands out from other breweries. Wide open sitting. Seems like a nice place but hesitant to go again.

This place holds such a special spot in my heart because it's a tradition for my mom and me to get pizza and beer before I fly home. We always come here to say goodbye and do one last thing together before I leave. One time, we had a little too much fun here and I missed my flight, but that's a story for another day! The pizza is always great, and we love sitting up at the bar. One of the bartenders even recognized me from the year before, which made the experience feel extra special. The beer is always really good, and we like to try something new since they rotate flavors. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town. Such a cool vibe, and the place is huge--would be a fun spot for events!

A flight of decidedly delicious and fresh brews.

Awesome vibe! Donna provided awesome service on a Friday afternoon with solid recommendations. Their brews are named rather cheekily (ex. Deez Nuts) but they are varied band delicious! Hoppy, sour, dark, dank, just tell her what you're feeling and she'll line you up. Looking forward to coming back for next time - note Mr. Dankey (their version of the west coast IPA) is strong at 6.6%! If you wanna know my favorite? Thicc (not a typo) Pearls brewed with completely NE hops - just outstanding!

My husband and I visited Heavy Brewing after work yesterday with some friends and family and their two children. First, it is extremely family friendly and kids are welcome. We ordered a beef pizza with mushrooms and olives and it was so good. The crust was crisp and there were plenty of toppings. Later on, we ordered the soft pretzels and they were eve crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The beer cheese sauce for dipping was terrific too. The beer selection was large enough so everyone in our party found something they enjoyed. Overall, the craft beers were all good. Service was friendly and speedy when the place was relatively empty. Food is ordered from a QR code on the table. This process was fast and easy. As it became busier, the line to get drinks was slow and long. This is an area that could use some work. However, it didn't deter us from staying for hours. We were able to watch the Gretna football games on the big screen and socialize. We had a great time and will be back soon!

Heavy brewing is a fun place to hang out for a great brew! The food is also fabulous. We've come for events with our realtor and they've always had great food and drinks, but finally my husband and I came for an event so I can finally rate it. The brews are always top notch, and super fun flavors. Tonight, I had the "my strippers name is cinnamon," "Vienna oak job," black cherry, and "creepy dunkel Larry." The old fashioned and espresso martini are also great! They have a pizza oven that always makes the pizza crust crispy and well cooked. Pretzel sticks are also a great option, and the chips and salsa! You can't go wrong here, and there's plenty to try.

This place is awesome. Beer is great, staff friendly and knowledgeable. Full kitchen with delicious food. They have a large private room, and bay doors that open on nice days. Cool arcade games too. We came in October and they had several Octoberfest style beers including a marzen and festbier. They also have non alcoholic beer (Athletic brewing), which is huge for people in your group who want the taste without the ABV.

Beer and Drinks are amazing. Wish they sold in kegs. We ordered chips and salsa and we must have received the bottom of the bag of chips. All were crushed and salsa is thin so not a good transport for salsa. Pizza had great flavor but crust was soft, not what you would expect from a wood fired oven.

The beer I drank because it's delicious.

This place is great! The staff is awesome. We come here way more than we probably should. It's a great mix of classic style beers and some out there flavors. The IPAs challenge the local interstate big dogs (Get Couples Retreat!) But there is always something for everyone. Whether you are a beer geek or not. There is something for you! Oh and then the pizza!!! ITS SO GOOD!!!

Pizza was tasty but a bit pricey for the size. Atmosphere was like going to chuckle cheese.. likely more for families.

The selection skews towards IPAs but they generally have something for everyone. Each beer can come in different sizes depending how committed you are to trying a certain beer or just want a 5 ounce sampler. The staff are not your typical bar staff but beer enthusiasts who are willing to wait on you hand and foot. The inside is very clean and simple - a nice, bright place to have a few drinks and chat with friends. The patio is great too when it's nice outside. All their brews are fabulous in my experience. My favorites are Great Plains Lager and the Cairns Pilsner (I am a fan of lighter beers if you couldn't tell). They have lots of different beer styles from Kölsches to Dunkels, and IPAs to Ales. So you'll definitely find something you like. They sell Kringles flavored pretzels for snacking on, or at least they did when I went last. Love those! Aside from that, they have food trucks that post up there as well, so definitely check their schedule to see who will be there when you want to go. For a local brewery, they have a pretty solid lineup of different brews, so I'd definitely check them out if you're in the Millard area!

While the space is a bit smaller now (they lost the side unit), it still has those great open doors at the back and a patio that overlooks a peaceful little pond and fountain. The patio is easily my favorite spot to sit, sip, and unwind. Their brews are where they shine, and the Benevolent Sun (a hazy IPA) is my go-to. It's bright, citrusy, and basically sunshine in a glass--perfect for those laid-back patio visits. I'm also a big fan of the Chupacabra, their Mexican-style lager that's super drinkable and pairs perfectly with everything. They do have a small food menu--think wraps, sandwiches, and apps--and while it's not extensive, it's solid. The Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap hits the spot, and I always order the Chips and Beer Cheese to go along with my beer (especially with a Chupacabra in hand). As one of the owners told us during a visit, "We're a brewery that has food, not a restaurant that serves beer." And honestly? They own that identity in the best way. The service is great too, with friendly knowledgeable servers and bartenders. If you're looking for a cozy, craft-focused spot to relax with a great beer in hand and a chill view out back, Monolithic's it.
