They were wonderful with my Mom. Froylan took the time to explain everything to her. He asked her how to place the grab bars that would work best for her and how high the bench should be. Before leaving they made sure everything was left clean. We couldn't happier with the company. She now has a safe and beautiful shower!

I would like to preface this review with two things: 1. 5…read morestar offers a discount on their work if you leave a good review, be weary of what you read on here. 2. We have had this company complete both a kitchen and a bath remodel. The issues I will bring up were consistent with both of these jobs. During both of our remodels, the biggest complaints I had were communication and quality. Two big components that a company should really pride themselves on if they cared about their customer base. Communication for our projects failed at almost every step of the way. The conversations had between us and the salesman were great, and then almost every single interaction that was not only had between us and the company but the company within themselves was comically poor. Some examples include: 1. Being told we would have a project manager come to our house prior to the project to check out our attic for structural questions (no one ever came before they started knocking down walls) 2. There were days workers would show up when we didn't know they were coming and not show up on days we were told they were supposed to be there. Not to mention the tile workers who had their truck parked outside our house from 8-5 but stayed in there late and left early to smoke. 3. Several unanswered/not returned calls and texts from the project managers. The only time the office reached out to tell us about something? When the bill was "due" even though our project wasn't complete yet. 4. Our salesman saying a project would take 3 weeks when in reality, it's been 3.5 months and there are still issues. 5. Anytime we asked the current workers what the plan was for the next day or really anything, they NEVER knew. They didn't know who was going to be working, they didn't know when, and they didn't know on what. 6. Several of the workers telling us point blank that their fellow workers screwed up and did things wrong. Good thing we caught it I guess? 7. Tile was about to be installed until I noticed it was not the right time, and the workers had no idea and they didn't know what tile they were actually supposed to put down or in what pattern. Then tile had to be ordered, delaying us even further. 8. The list goes on and on. It's as though no one in the company ever talks to each other, or their customer, and we're left trying to put the pieces together. Secondly, their quality of work is not worth what you pay, not even close. There has not been a single thing that they've done that we haven't had to ask them to fix or redo. This adds time to the project, financial strain on us as customers, and not to mention the stress of constantly acting as a project manager. We have had MAJOR things need to be redone (I'm talking walls needing to be taken apart and rebuilt, cabinet and ceiling painting, relocating outlets, and an ENTIRE SHOWER FLOOR), as well as other things (paint chipped walls, bad putty jobs, grout crumbling, paint splattered inside and outside the house and on and on) and all of it was because no one from their team cares enough to do it right the first time. The pictures I will include show *finished* products that they think are appropriate to leave as a job well done. Not only that, but just this last time when pointing out that the glass they had "special ordered" was actually measured wrong and therefore our shower door is crooked, I was told that my "OCD will just have to live with it." This company is not worth your time or effort. I would never recommend them to anyone.

    * rude * unprofessional…read more * unhelpful We entered the Sandy store, and after standing around for at least 10 minutes, not a single employee, out of about 8-10 employees, even attempted to acknowledge us. We finally caught the eye of an employee who was at her work station eating a donut. We asked her if she could help us, and her reply, "I'm busy. I'll be with you in a minute." Shocked, we asked her, "do you need to finish eating your donut before you can help us?" Her reply, "yes". We were truly stunned. Absolutely and completely unprofessional. She acted as if we had walked into her personal home and made a demand, as opposed to her being at work, to, you know, work. How dare we ask for help! When she finished her donut we asked her if there were any bathroom sinks in stock. Her reply, "I'd have to go and look, but I don't want to go look through everything" Stunned yet again, we gave up and left the store. We have bought many, many costly items from Standard over the years, and always strive to support local businesses, but, after our experience today, we won't be back. * terrible service * no in-stock selections * the value is not there, as their prices are over the top

I gave these guys a review of my cooking class directly and never received a response. I just…read morecalled to receive support for a $1,500 set of pans I purchased that are garbage and was told to reach out to the vendor. So here is your review. Cooking class: Instructor stated qualifications - "I love to cook, cooked w Grandma, did good in my HS cooking class. Read instructions from a paper ( we were told they would send us the recipes and they never did. Generally, if you have cooked any dish successfully or if you can read and follow a recipe, or if you have the internet and you prefer to have another person read the recipe that you can use any money you would spend here for a cooking class on some high quality ingredients at home and you won't have to cook with another couple at the same cooking station because there are 4 or more people per station.... That's right! You pay for a cooking class and you get to "rock, paper, scissors" with the other couple to share the tasks you paid to "learn".... Store: Generally looks nice. It is designed to funnel you from your "cooking class" into the store and sell you stuff after you've had a good experience like a Disney ride gift shop. Turns out it's like the plastic stuff from a Disney ride gift shop. You will eventually throw it away. My problem here is I bought a set of "forever" fancy pans made of stainless steel with a magical "titanium bonded" coating..... some real nice Hestons. However we have now researched and practiced and researched and practiced and cleaned with Heston's cleaner and researched and practiced and cleaned... you get the picture. This is to the tune of hours and hours of effort and hundreds of dollars of food wasted... we have done the mercury water test (I'm good at it now), we have cleaned them multiple times to remove food and cooking spray build up (nobody will say, but you're not supposed to use your cooking spray) use oil instead they say... we've done it. "Don't disturb the food" "stainless likes commitment". The food will "release" itself and then you stir. Yeah.... Nope. So after months of trying and researching, I can tell you these pans aren't good to work with... so I called the store. Turns out they can't help you if you used the pans, even once. They don't care about your problems or product problems. They don't really know anymore than you can find on line. So, my advice is: do the cooking class at home.... Find a YouTube video from a chef you like and buy quality ingredients, stop by the store, even buy the plastic gadgets that you throw away one day here if you want to pay 2x what they cost at Walmart.... Look at the expensive stuff like pans. If you decide you want to buy, take a picture of the brand and buy on line. These guys don't have most of that stuff in stock they just mark it up for you and it delivers to your house. What they won't do is help you. They grab a healthy mark up and run. This place is the reason it is better to shop on line. Amazon at least will give a guarantee that works.

I find their prices to be very reasonable. They are not a HUGE store, but they are not too small, either. They have a lot of great kitchen items. There was a cooking class going on while I was there. The lady that helped me was super friendly and cheerful. So were the other employees. I think they have what it takes to be a successful business. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

He just didn't show up and then I would have to call and schedule another appointment. The day they finally came in to install they said they would be there at 10 am. I waited till 11 and still no one showed. Once again, no one called me to let me know what was going on. I finally got a hold of Nelson after an hour of trying and he said he was running a little late and couldn't be there till 4 pm. Six house late! With no notice. Once he finally showed up he installs the wrong counter top! He called me liar when I said that was not what I the ordered. I ordered the Azul platino which is a white counter top. I showed him the quote with the countertop name and he told me that the Azul Platino is the style and you don't get to chose the color it's just whatever he has in the shop. We searched for a fabricator that could do our bathrooms and kitchen. Nelson with Utah Granite and Marble was quick to respond to my initial message. He gave us a fantastic quote and came to measure. He was quick to answer questions and helpful with talking about what we wanted. We paid the deposit of 3K in September and were excited to have our kitchen remodeled. We waited and the responses were further and farther between. We were not getting updates and deadlines continued to be missed. Eventually we got ahold of them again and he said his machine to do the cutting was broken and they needed to get it fixed. We were patient and understanding. Once the machine was up and running we asked about our install date again. Two weeks later with no response we heard back that something was wrong with the machine and our slab shattered. They reassured us that they would get a replacement since it was their fault. We continued to wait. Then in November I took matters into my own hands and found out they didn't even pick up the right slab in the first place. They said they would get the correct slab and do the install. Then after another month of no response and demands to have something updated in writing we asked for a refund so we could split ways. They called and said if we would purchase the right slab they would be able to install and provide us a refund of the overage that we would have paid. I was not happy with this but willing to proceed if I could get it in writing. Again another month with no response to several emails, calls and texts. We are now in February and it seems as if he has turned off his email and blocked me. We are now taking this to small claims court because it is the only option we have besides just walking away from that money. I am so disappointed. I gave them more chances to fix the situation than I was comfortable with in hopes that they would do the right thing. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! THEY COMMIT FRAUD AND YOU WILL BE OUT YOUR MONEY!
