They have worked on several projects in my home including, installing a skylight where an old evaporative cooler was, installing crown molding, painting, custom building projects and more. Everyone I have dealt with, Bret, Nate, Preston were extremely professional and very easy to work with. The bid was reasonable and clear and they stuck to it. They kept me informed of the progress and schedule all the way through. The materials and labor was top notch. They even took extra time to make sure they cleaned up after themselves after each day! I would highly recommend their work and will hire them again!

We hired Devco Construction for a whole-home remodel, and unfortunately our experience ended very…read morepoorly. Toward the end of the project, with several contracted items still unfinished, communication became extremely difficult. Workers stopped consistently showing up, calls and messages went unanswered, and Brian ultimately told us that he did not intend to complete the remaining work. We were left with unfinished work including backsplash installation, portions of the appliance installation, cabinet upgrades, and other remaining items included in our agreement. More concerning, we had already paid toward materials that Brian told us had been purchased. When it became clear he was walking away from the project, we requested the receipts and the materials we had paid for. He did not provide the receipts because the materials had not actually been purchased, did not provide the materials, and did not return the money we had paid toward them. We were left having to purchase those items ourselves in addition to finding people to complete his remaining scope of work. What makes this particularly disappointing is that we had a detailed, signed agreement outlining the scope, material purchases, payment structure, and final reconciliation. We upheld our financial obligations throughout the project. We expected our contractor to uphold his obligation to finish the work and properly account for our money. Regardless of whatever circumstances led to his decision, walking away from a customer's home before the contracted work is complete--and keeping money paid toward materials that were never purchased--is unacceptable. I strongly recommend that anyone considering Devco Construction document every payment and material purchase, request receipts as purchases are made, and avoid paying ahead of completed work.

It involved laying a heated slab to accommodate a partially sunken hot tub. Tom did everything by the book and as with any construction project, when something went a little off the plan I was notified immediately with information as to what my options were. In the end, his estimate was right on and we have beautiful hot tub that has elevated the value of our home. 2 years after installation when the slab heater failed to work, I called Tom and he came right over. He had the plumber here the same day and diagnosed the problem immediately - a flipped circuit breaker. In addition to the hot tub project I have used Tom to remodel interior space and install custom cabinetry. Once again he and his team did an excellent job and we now have a beautiful mud room with boot heaters. Tom is a trustworthy and responsible contractor. if you are doing anything in Park City and want a company you can trust to get he job done right the first time, you simply have to call Tom. You won't be disappointed.

We decided not to go w/them since they gave us an estimate that was almost $100,000 more than what we told them we could pay. Months later we received a bill for $6700. As far as we can tell they did absolutely nothing (other than provide an estimate & give us some plans that they drew up that were duplicates of plans that we sent to them). They took us to court & the judge ruled for them. We then discovered that one of Topp Constructions attorneys was a substitute judge for the same court where our hearing was held. In fact the judge hearing our case told some other people in the courtroom what a great substitute judge he was. I got the feeling that our case was decided before it was even started. Can you say coincidence? .....I think not. The contract plainly stated that IF we agreed to go forward (which we did not) that they would bill us bi-weekly. After the initial $1500 we did not receive ANY bill from them until months later for $6700. Apparently the judge didn't seem to think that was a problem & did not hold Topp Construction accountable to that part of the contract. We are not wealthy people & because of the dishonesty of Topp Construction (Brandon & John) we are now out almost $9000 w/absolutely nothing to show for it. Hopefully others can hear of our experience & not go through the stress that we had to. We did NOT hire them, all we were asking for was whether the job was feasible or not. I hope this review will prevent this from happening to anyone else.
