I love everything about this store- the cooking classes, the fun staff, Bob, Marie, and Austin. I've replaced and added several of my kitchen appliances and items. I'm not known as a gifted cook but their classes and pointers have enabled me to make some really good dinner items. I'm so glad to have found this family owned business. I was given the phone # of this location as I was trying to determine if a certain food processor attachment would fit my universal Plus. I was told to talk to Bob but he was with a customer so Maria helped me. Like other reviews, I can't stress enough how helpful she was in identifying the exact attachment I needed & even did an internet search to try to locate one since they are no longer making them. I live in Seattle, WA but if I had to restore another Bosch appliance I would 10 out of 10 return to the Bosch Kitchen Center in Sandy UT. Cannot stress how knowledgeable and helpful the ownership and staff of this business are!!! Repair and appliance shops like this just don't grow on trees. I have a older Bosch compact kitchen mixer with some circuitry problems. It would run full tilt for a bit and just freeze. Not a single local shop was able to help me (really), nor willing to even evaluate this mixer. It was a longshot but I contacted Sandy Bosch Kitchen Center hoping that if I shipped it to, that they would be able to at least evaluate it. I shipped it to them usps flat rate and at this point I believed the mixer itself was a lost cause and maybe I'd at least gain closure knowing what was wrong... I was AMAZED when a got a call back from the owner, Bob, saying repair was 100% possible and affordable. I am SO happy! They saved my machine from a landfill- fixed this little mixer up and it's running great. Bob ID'd the machine as 12 years old and honestly I will probably will get another 8-12 years in. I agree with Net T and others here. I had an old irreplaceable kitchen appliance repaired. Correction: not just repaired, totally resurrected. By Bob Hair, without doubt the best service I have ever received from anyone, and I am 84. He was unfailingly courteous and responsive and ingenious when dealing with the problem, handled it within a few days after advising me the best way to ship it (it weighs 16 pounds and was going from California to Utah) and though I would have paid any ransom, charged a very reasonable fee. Why have I never been to this place before? It's one of those hidden gems that you have no idea exists until you're looking for something specific. For me, it was cookie dough paddles for my Bosch mixer. But they're more than just Bosch. You can find vacuum sealers, grinders, blenders, waffle irons, Le Creuset kitchenware, etc. Also, they are very well-stocked with kitchen utensils and tools like cheese graters, mixing spoons, etc. Think Sur la Table but a few steps down on the fancy/expensive scale. They also have a very nice demo kitchen. When I was in the store it looked like they were just wrapping up some sort of salsa demo. Employees are very helpful. So the next time you're looking for something to satiate your kitchen needs, give these guys a shot before you go to one of the bigger stores. After calling all over the Salt Lake Valley and putting twenty miles on my car I call this BKC asking if they repair Kitchenaid stand mixers. Their reply was yes but that they closed at five. Even though they had closed (Yelp states they are open until 6) I was invited to respond to the store where they wrote up my repair order. I have frequent Bosch Kitchen Center and bought a few Bosch mixers, but had no idea that they were much more including appliances . Until recently and after my research on Bosch dishwashers, my first stop was the Bosch Kitchen Center and considering the outstanding help and prices, I bought a dishwasher without any regrets. Service cannot get any better than with Tom and Bob. Needless to say, they went beyond service when they delivered and installed my dishwasher and offered to install a garbage disposal I had bought elsewhere. They have the best, friendliest and quickest customer service! I'm not even a customer there, and they really wanted to help me! I have a broken part to a concept 7 and emailed several places with questions about replacing the part. Bob was the first one to get back with me and spent a long time on the phone trying to figure out if what he had would work as a replacement. He was busy with customers that day and still took time to talk to me. I believe he really wanted to help me. The part he had wouldn't work, and I have managed to fix the broken part enough to use it. When I am ready to purchase a new mill, this will be the first place I look!
