They said they could try to do a repair for about $1.3k but that they couldn't guarantee the repair would be effective because of the condenser. They then tried to sell me on their highest end heat-pump for about $24k, which was too much for our needs, since our furnace was also functional. We ended up choosing a basic AC replacement for around $9k. They were able to install the new unit two days later. However, on the day of the install, they saw some surface level rust on the furnace heat exchanger and tried to get me to replace it for an additional $4k. When I said no, they backed off and recommended a CO alarm (which we already have). It felt like I was being heavily taken advantage of because I was in a dire situation. The installation went fine, but my experience of being pressured and hard sold to during the process made it feel like I was being milked for every penny they could get out of me. Take this as a precaution to check your HVAC AC/furnace/heat pump regularly, and get multiple quotes before deciding on work. If you go with this company, they will seemingly do an effective job, but they will try their best to get as much money out of you as possible.

He tested the control board and said it was the issue, collected my service fee, then an hour later sent an estimate for more than the price I paid for the oven two years ago. I can look at the part online and they are wanting to charge double, plus $500 for roughly the same labor that they just spent doing for a $65 service fee. So while they were quick to respond and nice enough... I'm still up a creek with less money and more wasted time.

This is honestly one of the strangest reviews I've ever had to write…read more Let me start by saying I have a 30-year-old furnace and will absolutely be replacing my HVAC system within the next 12 months. I'm the type of customer most companies would want--ready to buy and looking for estimates. My first experience was with their website. I filled out the contact form, but it was clearly broken. No big deal--I found an email address on the site and let them know the form wasn't working. I never received any response. Normally, I would have moved on to another company, but they had good reviews, so I decided to give them another chance. The second time, I called to schedule an estimate for a new system. Before I could even explain what I needed, the woman who answered said, "Can you hold on? I have a customer calling." I was honestly confused and replied, "I am a customer." I was calling because I wanted to buy an entirely new HVAC system. Today, I decided to give them one final opportunity after seeing one of their trucks around town. I was transferred to someone who took my name and phone number but didn't explain what would happen next. When I asked when I should expect a callback, I was told their business hours were 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. I clarified that I wasn't asking for their hours--I was asking how long it typically takes for someone to call back about an estimate. The response was simply, "I don't know." None of these issues are major on their own, but together they paint a picture of a company that doesn't seem interested in earning new business. Three very avoidable experiences were enough for me. I'll gladly take my business elsewhere and spend my money with a company that's more responsive and customer-focused.
