Say whut? In certain situations, I am clueless about what people are saying. I cannot pick their words out of a conversation if there is loud background noise. Huh, come again? I rely a lot on lip reading and an unconvincing head nodding. It's embarrassing if you nod when it was not even a Yes/No response, or they've asked just you if you are sure you want tonight's special, chicken liver and peanut butter. Yech. This is unquestionably a job for Super Hearing Guy! In my particular case, and with the blessing of my Kaiser insurance, this was how HearUSA became my hero. My hearing assessment was conducted in a windowed, closet sized, soundproof room, where they set me up with ear buds and a trigger button. A lovely young technician, Brian, sat at his computer, guiding me through the tests. An overachiever, I hate failing any test, but I really needed to fail this one, or I'd still be saying, "Huh?" Instant results, and then the sales speil and obligatory price disclosure. Upping my audio intake is not cheap even with Kaiser's help. I now have a pretty snazzy hearing aid. In two days, my Siemans ear piece was delivered and programmed to my specs. Get this....it is now hooked up to my Smart phone so I can control it easily, even while I'm reading my emails and such. Darn easy. And if my phone happens to go AWOL, I am *not* out of luck. I can still manually adjust it. Now, all I need is a homing device for when I misplace the hearing aid. It will happen, no doubt. Professional staff, nice office, convenient location. Life is much better. read more

All I wanted was a hearing test, and possibly hearing aids. Instead they texted me at two in the morning to confirm my appointment. When I had the appointment and the tech gave me the test he said it was inconclusive because I had some wax in one ear, never gave me the inconclusive results. After I went to my PCP to have ear wax removed I called for a new appointment. They have no staff answering phone calls, phone calls go to a message center. They never returned my calls for a further appointment. They seem to be a conglomerate of several providers at several sites. Kind of a fly-by-night operation. read more

Please please use caution if you choose to purchase from this company. I couldnt even find the Riverside office located on Alessandro page to write a review on them but they made a mistake on my dads hearing aids. I live in Ca, I took him to Hear USA while he stayed with me. He lives in New Mexico so they were supposed to ship everything out there. New Mexico offices are another joke. So unorganized, phones do not work, they close when they want. They promised to make things right and when his trial period ended no one including corporate office stopped answering their phones. It all was a nightmare. I really thought I was helping my dad find a better provider for his hearing loss. read more

HearUSA Review I wish I could give the hearing aid dispenser Ryan David at HearUSA ten stars! I took my mother in for an evaluation as she has had trouble hearing for many years. She was told years ago that she had loss that couldn't be improved by amplification so she gave up on the idea of hearing aids. We decided to go ahead and get a hearing test to see how her hearing had changed and it turns out that she IS a candidate for hearing aids. Ryan was so thorough with the test and very patiently explained her hearing loss and the benefits a hearing aid would offer. He gave her a pair to try on in the office that was programmed for her ears and her face lit up when she heard sounds clearly and at normal volume after so many years of not hearing well. It was such a memorable and amazing experience to be there with her for that. I asked her if she was going to buy some hearing aids and she said, "Well how could I not?! I can hear! And you can't even see them even with my short haircut!" She left that day with her first pair of hearing aids. Thank you so much to Ryan and the nice staff at HearUSA. First, she performed a thorough hearing test and then she adjusted his hearing aides consistent with the treatment required to address his specific hearing loss issues. Caitlin understands, first hand, the challenges associated with hearing loss and is invested (and knowledgeable) in bringing her clients back to life by restoring their ability to hear. I called this office and spoke with Lisa the receptionist, I had asked her if my Hearing Aids that I ordered had come in. She said no you did not place the order with us. Before I could say thank you, she hung up on me. I went to that office after my phone call with her. She Said no you did not order them with us. She was right I had ordered them at the Corona office. People make mistakes, but Lisa was not helpful at all, horrible customer service. She never offered to call the other office or give me the address. read more
