    Say whut? In certain situations, I am clueless about what people are saying. I cannot pick their words out of a conversation if there is loud background noise. Huh, come again? I rely a lot on lip reading and an unconvincing head nodding. It's embarrassing if you nod when it was not even a Yes/No response, or they've asked just you if you are sure you want tonight's special, chicken liver and peanut butter. Yech. This is unquestionably a job for Super Hearing Guy! In my particular case, and with the blessing of my Kaiser insurance, this was how HearUSA became my hero. My hearing assessment was conducted in a windowed, closet sized, soundproof room, where they set me up with ear buds and a trigger button. A lovely young technician, Brian, sat at his computer, guiding me through the tests. An overachiever, I hate failing any test, but I really needed to fail this one, or I'd still be saying, "Huh?" Instant results, and then the sales speil and obligatory price disclosure. Upping my audio intake is not cheap even with Kaiser's help. I now have a pretty snazzy hearing aid. In two days, my Siemans ear piece was delivered and programmed to my specs. Get this....it is now hooked up to my Smart phone so I can control it easily, even while I'm reading my emails and such. Darn easy. And if my phone happens to go AWOL, I am *not* out of luck. I can still manually adjust it. Now, all I need is a homing device for when I misplace the hearing aid. It will happen, no doubt. Professional staff, nice office, convenient location. Life is much better.

I was so thrilled when he fitted me with hearing aids and I could actually hear out of my left ear for the first time in many, many years. He's very gentle , extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, and cares deeply about his patients being able to hear as well as possible at a price they can afford.     DO NOT go here.The owner is unethical,offering products and services which he cannot deliver.He is…read morenot compassionate to the needs of patients who suffer hearing loss and the collateral damage associated with this disability.He baits and switches customers on products and is only concerned with what the insurance company will or will not pay.He tries to sell junk which costs him less than what the insurance company will reimburse and then tells the customer their insurance is paying 100%.He complains and whines constantly about the insurance companies,which is very unprofessional, in my opinion.He also makes suggestive and inappropriate comments to female customers while his girlfriend stands around and mad dogs the female client.Basically,his products are inferior, antiquated and overpriced.Co to Costco,where you will get a far better product and service.Both myself and a close friend are now stuck with the wrong hearing aids.He refuses to make good on the mistake he admits to making(allowing me to buy the wrong ones for cosmetic reasons without advising me that they were the wrong ones) and WORST of all,he refuses to even order me new ones which he would be paid for!His excuse:"I am not in the right frame of mind to wear hearing aids and I am not ready to embrace them." Who the hell "embraces" hearing aids? I repeat,DO NOT GO HERE.
