3rd course - dessert: Chocolate crème de pan Basque cheesecake
Marielle J.

We had a marvelous experience last weekend for Valentine's Day! We were cutting it close upon our reservation time but we made it! I saw that Hearth was having a Valentine's Day 3 course meal! I made a reservation a few weeks in advance and they messaged me a couple of days beforehand to let me know the menu offerings which I thought were really nice and showed quality impeccable preparation! We truly enjoyed the wild mushroom tartlet, both entrees (lobster saffron risotto and the chicken roulade) followed by the desserts of chocolate crème de pan and the basque cheesecake! We also loved the wine pairings with all the courses! My favorite was one of the dessert wines. Our server was fantastic and the team is so friendly! The ambiance is dim lit but very pretty inside. It was a full house by the time we were eating! It's my second time at Hearth but bf's first and he really enjoyed it :) We'd love to stay at the Heathman one day too! We will be back!

This was the Kraken. Made with Empress gin and garnished with lemon. Very good, very strong. What more do you want? Lol

Staying at this hotel on my first ever trip to Washington state. It's a beautiful place located right in (what feels) like the heart of Kirkland. The interior design, the laid back atmosphere, how clean and presentable everything looked- and of course the helpful and friendly staff. I had breakfast, lunch, and dinner here and I honestly can say that every single item I got from their menu was perfectly delicious. Their drinks and selection at the bar was also very impressive. I'm already thinking about what I'm going to have for breakfast this morning lol

Turkey sandwich with greens
Jon O.

Weekend brunch menu is not extensive but has all the favorites. My wife and our friend both ordered the turkey sandwich and absolutely loved it! Good portion of turkey matched well with the havarti cheese, garlic mayo, and cranberry sauce. I had their Hearth Breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon, potato, and sourdough bread. Scrambled eggs were very creamy, I imagine this is how Gordon Ramsay makes his. Appreciated them making the bacon extra crispy how I like it, but the bread slices were paper thin. We finished off with beignets which came out hot and fresh, and we preferred the creme anglaise dip to the raspberry preserves. Service was friendly and took care of our needs quickly.

Preserved Lemon Risotto

Went to Hearth for Seattle restaurant week, and had a nice experience. Ambience is nice - it's in the Heathman hotel and it's located right across from a free garage. The waitstaff was friendly, and the starters were good - roasted vegetable salad and a seafood soup. My preserved lemon risotto was definitely on the tarter side - seemed like regular rather than Arborio rice but balanced nicely with the purée underneath. My favorite was the crème brûlée dessert! We liked the food but didn't love it and I don't know if we'll be back for the price point.

SRW Chicken schnitzel; thicker than a typical schnitzel and super juicy
April S.

We had a super chill and well timed date night here during SRW. Jason was a great waiter throughout the meal. The temperatures and flavors were also just right--salads dressed lightly, warm toasted bread, greens that weren't too bitter, fried chicken that's juicy and flavorful without relying on salt, fries and steak were both quality, and the balance of the chocolate cake with fresh raspberries and whipped cream, thanks Chef!

Mocha and Hot Chocolate

We tried their brunch after a long time and enjoyed it. We were seated immediately even without a reservation. We got Mushroom Egg skillet and Classic Benedict. Benedict was great, perfect runny eggs and a delicious hollandaise sauce. We loved the Mushroom egg skillet, especially the collection of mushrooms. The breakfast potatoes were really good.

Margherita pizza - decent.

This restaurant is located inside the Heathman Hotel, so it was convenient for me to have dinner there tonight. The service is great. My server was attentive and very friendly. The ambiance is cozy and has lots of seating spaces. Here is what I got: - Small Caesar Salad: this was ok. The lettuce was too big to eat and the croutons didn't feel mixed in with the salad and dressing. - Margherita Pizza: this was ok. Nothing great. The sauce was a bit bland for my liking. Overall, decent place to dine. Limited vegetarian options.

Pork belly hash
Deb K.

Must be a fluke because our service was great and the food was pretty darn good too! We arrived at 8:05 and our waiter, who said he was here only two weeks now, was named Chris. Chris was spot on as was the PNW scramble and pork belly hash! Delicious as my husband kept humming indicating he was enjoying his breakfast! The PNW scramble is a beautiful blend of salmon, eggs, spinach and a cream sauce. It came with potatoes (also great) and sour dough bread. You must try the Bonne Maman blueberry preserves that come with it. The pork belly hash has pork belly, mushrooms, pickled onions, poached eggs and hollandaise sauce, with potatoes. Truthfully my husband ate both and said both were very good! Not sure where all the bad reviews are from but if you come, I'd strongly recommend asking for Chris!

Charcuterie
Sheri H.

I purchased the bacon cheeseburger with fries and a charcuterie board. Excellent burger. Not greasy, fresh meat not frozen and yummy bun. Fries had the right crunch outside and soft inside. I could've done without the crackers on the board and had some bread instead, but loved all the cheese and meats. Spicy mustard was spot on.

It's at the corner of one of the buildings. Dark, mid sized interior with some cool neon lights and light up marble pattern bar counter. Not very busy when I went at happy hour/dinner time on a Friday night, but the place is busier later at night on Friday/Saturday during the warmer months. Sometimes they have events and DJs. Sat at the bar and tried out some happy hour specials. Got the Korean sauce wings ($12) and cheese truffle fries ($8). Decent amount of fries, definitely has cheese flavor but not that much truffle oil aroma. I liked the wings which you get 6 per order. They weren't fried, but rather tender and juicy. Sauce was agreeable. Definitely enough food for my dinner. As for the drinks, I got the rosemary mule which is Moscow mule with some rosemary herb. The copper mug they use is good sized. Tasted refreshing although could feel the alcohol afterwards. Also tried a corpse reviver no. 2, which was a little sweet but has a punch. Cocktail prices are not cheap outside of happy hour, in the upper teens. Overall, was glad I tried the place out. Will drop by for happy hour once in a while.

Teresa was our server, excellent service and very friendly, providing valuable details about the menu, etc. My wife ordered a surprise birthday cocktail for me, which was their version of an Old Fashioned (To The Bitter End), which was really good, large ice cube! My wife had the rum cocktail (Death in the Tropics), which was good, not her favorite. We dined slowly as we were not in a hurry, but were advised we had a 90 minute dining window. We overstayed by about 15 minutes, but it was their fault as they provided a complimentary dessert for my birthday, nice touch. For food, we started with the bread with black garlic spread, Along with the Rain Dog Chop salad, which were both delicious. We could not decide on an entree to share so we ordered 2. The Moroccan Chicken with cous cous (was AWESOME) and the Mushroom Pasta (Good but not great). After finishing, we agreed the Moroccan Chicken would have been enough by itself. Ample portion, wonderfully prepared. Draft beer and glass wine selections were excellent. I really enjoyed the No Boat Brewery beer. Thanks for making my birthday dinner a special one.

The beers here are always great. For food, they have a nice setup where they serve up some good, tasty items sourced from other local companies that they heat up right there for you. It's a solid, straightforward menu that pairs perfectly with a fresh pint. The location itself is excellent, featuring massive windows that let in a ton of beautiful sunlight, alongside a really nice indoor and outdoor space. That said, I feel like the place has so much untapped potential. It's tucked up on the upper level of the plaza, which might be why it feels a bit hidden, but it often isn't as busy as other nearby spots. I really think they need to do something a bit different to draw people in and make the local community want to gather and hang out here, whether that's events or a shift in the overall vibe. I definitely recommend checking this place out if you are in the area! The space is beautiful, the drinks are great, and it's a wonderful local brewery that deserves a lot more feet through the door.
