ReRe

I was physically assaulted by the manager "ReRe the bartender". I by mistake stepped outside with an almost empty can, and walked back inside to toss it. Out of no where with zero words of communication (I thought it was a crack head) this older woman grabs my hand and physically crushes it while digging her nails deep into the back of my hand. My hand was left with multiple small cuts and a bruise. It would be common sense to use your words, and politely address a patron without physically harming them. The security team was useless, did nothing to help, then threatened to 86 me if I didn't leave when I asked why this bartender physically assaulted me. "ReRe" should be fired. She was also breaking health code regulations with her excessively long bacteria ridden nails. What a disgusting and shameful establishment! This is not a safe place for women to have a drink. There are several complaints about how poorly the bartenders have treated women at this bar, and it is 100% "ReRe" and the other older woman. This bar use to be good before it was sold in 2017. Honestly the entire staff should be fired for how hostile and rude they are towards patrons.

It's a dive bar, as you probably suspected when walking by Central Tavern. Located in downtown Kirkland, behind these closed doors is a dark room with red lighting and a funky odor. Thus, I bring you Central Tavern. It's definitely a locals hang out. We visited Central Tavern after a wine tasting event and the place was alright. After ordering a local IPA on tap, we sat at one of the tables and the place quickly filled with peeps who seems to frequent this spot. We visited on a hot day, so the place was extra muggy because the AC was broken. And the mugginess brought on an odor, mixed with people sweating, so yeah, it was one of those instances. Central Tavern isn't a bad spot though, if you forget about the broken AC issue. For a dive bar though, people didn't seem as chummy like at other dive bars I've visited. A little standoffish, I must say, which was surprising. Not the most fun place in Kirkland for drinks, but it'll be cheaper than most spots around. They have darts and pool tables.

Perfect dive bar. Everything you want in a dive bar. The bartenders are awesome, attentive and fun. Bouncer is great. Wish there were more of these around town.

Bar manager has an horrible attitude. Mean and rude for no reason. She's making comments just to start conflicts.

Solid drinks and if you use the ladies bathroom, it might stick on you and you could get stuck in there.

Favorite local watering hole in Kirkland. They've got pool, Touchtunes and good vibes.

Be aware! They overcharged me for my drinks. I didn't give a tip because of the bad service but my bank account showed $8 overcharge.

Fun dive bar! Cozy…read moreenvironment. My friends and I stopped by after a wine tasting nearby and wanted to get some food and more drinks, of course. This was the best spot for exactly that! They have karaoke every night, cider on tap (my fav) and a full menu!

A few months back I reserved a few tables at this place for a company karaoke party on a Saturday…read morenight with all managers (risky). Safe to say that everyone loved it and now I'm getting ready to book another party after multiple requests. The food is 7/10 - I loved the fried pickles and I had a couple wings which were good, but I'd try something different next time. Others ordered sandwiches and other sides and seemed to like them. The service was great as the KJ got all our names added to the karaoke list before he even got his set-up running. We also had a great server (I forgot his name - so sorry!!! I think it might have been Ian??) who started us off with a couple food orders and our initial drink order. The expectation was set for us that we would get a better experience going to the bar whenever we want another drink/add more food to our tabs. I love that they were honest about this from the get-go because it gets CRAZY crowded on a Saturday night and our tables were adjacent to the dance floor. Excellent people-watching entertainment. Karaoke starts at 8pm, our party got there at 7pm. Karaoke process here is that the KJ puts your name on a list, you give him your song when it's your turn, your name stays on the rotation until you tell him you're done. There are A LOT of names in the rotation. I sang my first song at 8:15 and my second song after midnight, everyone in between only sang once. Get there early if you want to sing early.

Okay wings and poor service. This is even when it was close to empty on a football Sunday afternoon.read more

We came to Tony's on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and had the best time. We counted about 20 TVs…read morein the restaurant and I kid you not, you can see a tv in just about every direction you look. There is truly no bad seat in the house. I also really enjoyed that you could hear the games too. The service was super fast despite there only being 2 servers. I ordered the adult coffee and it was basically a $9 espresso martini which is a steal to me. It was so delicious, I'm still thinking about how good it was a week later. I'll go back just for the adult coffee. As far as the food goes, Tony's is known for their wings and they have a wing in just about every flavor. I really like the lemon pepper wing but you can't go wrong with any one you get. All their sauces and rubs are made in house! We found out toward the end of our lunch that our server was actually the owner. We had been talking as a group about how friendly she was the entire lunch and when we learned she was the owner, it was the icing on the cake. She is so proud of her business and I see her going far. Overall, the vibes were great, the food and drinks were delicious, and our bill was shockingly super inexpensive despite the amount of food we ordered. I can't wait for my next trip to Tony's!
