They are now unwilling to be responsible for the unnecessary costs. During the warranty period which was two years, although Widex, my hearing aid company, told me it should be 3 yrs, I had a problem with my right aid. It was sent to Widex. I got a new aid. Still no positive result. No streaming in my right aid. I renewed my warranty for a year for $500. Still no streaming from my right hearing aid. Then still no streaming on the right. I paid another $350 and got a new right aid. Still no streaming. I called a Widex technician and was told to return with the aid to ENT and call Widex. A technician will solve the problem. The covering audiologist called the Widex technician and the problem was solved. My regular audiologist blamed my iPhone, blamed me, blamed Widex. She never called Widex for assistance. ENT Bayside Flushing is now unwilling to be responsible for the unnecessary costs I incurred. I would therefore strongly recommend you avoid this place. My unnecessary costs of $925 should be refunded to me.

Dr. B and her team are the best! I brought my grandmother in for new hearing aids, after a very…read morenegative experience with another audiologist. We waited almost an hour after our appointment time, but it all made sense when we got to see the doctor. Dr. B patiently sat with my grandmother for around 2 and a half hours. She asked her a ton of questions about her hearing issues, current hearing aids, and general activity. She is also the only doctor that has ever spoken loudly and clearly enough for my grandmother to understand. She tested my grandmother's hearing in a soundproof booth, and explained in great detail what her issues are and what could be done about them. I should mention that my grandmother is also legally blind (which throws off a lot of medical professionals), but Dr. B taught her how to use her hearing aids by feel, which was amazing! My grandmother got new hearing aids, as well as a tester pair to use for a week while they were being built. We had some personal issues in the interim, so it took a while for us to pick up the new hearing aids, but Dr. B's office was super kind and flexible! We also got to try them for a few weeks at home before we had to pay for them, which we were able to do over the phone. Fair warning that the office is in the basement of an apartment building which is NOT handicap accessible. There is a ramp to get into the building, but there are two or three small steps to get to the office. The office itself is also small, but my grandmother's wheelchair just barely fit in. My grandmother's hearing is much better, and we are very happy with Forest Hills Audiology!

Dr. Boruhkov took the care & time to teach me about my new hearing aides and answered my questions and concerns without judgement. Dr. Roxanne Borukhov and Dr. Kathleen Kalschmid both possess professionalism, knowledge and humor; traits that create an excellent hearing healthcare environment. I was set up with my new hearing Oticon devices. I'm still getting used to them but during my second visit, I received adjustments that made a helpful difference. The ladies at the reception desk are professional, kind and helpful as well. It isn't always that you can find these qualities in my experience. On a side note: On my way to the office, I slipped and fell . I hurt my hand and arm. Kristen at reception, fixed me up with a bandaid, Bacitracin and a cup of water. Dr. Kalschmid checked my arm and hand and talked to me until I calmed down. Dr. Boruhkov did the same. They go above and beyond to make their patients feel seen, heard and taken care of. My original doctor left the practice so I saw Dr. Wakefield in the Flushing office. The wait was…read moreshort. Exam very quick. I had to tell her to check everythng not just my ear. I spedifically needed 2 prescriptions refilled. I asked her twice if she sent them and she said yes. Hours later, the pharmacist said they were not sent. I called and faxed the office numerous times and was told the prescriptions would be resent immediately. The WERE NOT RESENT. I was told 3x by the office that they sent a message to the Dr. & medical assist, and that she would call me and resend them. No call came and no prescriptions ever came. This is totally unacceptable, unprofessional, and frustrating having to call and call and get NO response. I was also told by the pharmacist that they left several messages for a prescription renewal too but no one ever got back to them. This is outrageous that they treat patents this way.
