For some time I have been complaining about doctors and the lack of care I've received recently. It's made me generalize in a way that I shouldn't. But today's experience with my mom seeing Winnie was amazing! We arrived early and were taken in early. Winnie embraced my mom like an old friend. My mom consistently saw Winnie prior to the pandemic and switched to a care provider a little closer to home. After some discussion I convinced her to go back to where she was most comfortable. My mom explained some of the reasons she's been struggling with her hearing aids and I shared some of my own observations. First she was given a hearing test and a pair to try on. After more discussion and an analysis of her current hearing, my mom decided to get fitted for a new custom pair. Winnie explained everything and then cleaned her ears before doing the new molds. The level of care, patience, expertise, and warmth was not a surprise given how my mother raves about her prior visits. It was a great experience for my mom and put my mind at ease that she was doing the right thing. Dr. Winnie is a great doctor. She explained in great detail what her patients need for the hearings. I came here with my Mother-in-law to examine her hearing. She did the test and she gave the result back to the patient to keep in case patients want to get their second opinion. The doctor​ didn't pressure her patient to buy anything but she gave some great suggestions about some good brands out there. We all are going through this someday, I mean, getting a good pair of hearing aid. Everybody needs it after reaching a certain age. The office is super clean with a nice view. Living in NYC for over twenty years and using the subway system all the time, and having prolonged headphone usage led me to have concerns about hearing loss. So i got a referral from my ENT specialist to do a hearing test before my insurance ends by the end of this month. I was told they didnt have an opening until next month but somehow she found a cancelation and squeezed me in, while being very accommodating towards my working schedule. I had a great first experience here, from the front desk receptionist to the doctor who performed my test; both very lovely and kind ladies. My appointment was 11:30am I was seen shortly after I completely my registration paperwork. The doctor tested my left and right ear by a series examination methods. She initially started off just playing some sounds in each ear, which was a little uncomfortable, but that was needed to test my eardrums. And then she left the sound proof room after placing a hearing decive over my head, and then she said a list of different words for me to repeat, and also playing a double beeping sound and for me to press a controller when I heard the sound. Lastly, she tested the muscle reflexes of my ears and then a machine printed out the results. My examination, and registration plus wait time, the whole thing took about 30-40minutes from beginning to to end. I was out the office, by the elevator to go by 12:08pm!! Thanks a lot!! I wish more doctors' offices were like you guys. Efficient!! I use in-ear monitors (earphones) as a musician and was looking to get ear impressions for custom-fitted IEMs from 64 Audio. I found this office through 64 Audio's audiologist directory. The office also happened to take my health insurance so I scheduled to have a hearing test while I'm there. The office is conveniently located a block away from the 7 train's Main Street station (2 blocks from LIRR Flushing stop on the Port Washington branch). The suite is on the 10th floor of the building. Dr. Winnie ran through several exams to check my hearing. She explained what she was doing at each step and made sure to answer any questions I had. Without me reminding her, Dr. Winnie knew that the ear impressions had to be completely past the second bend of the ear canal. I felt assured that I picked the right audiologist and surely enough, 64 Audio accepted the impressions! read more

My father had a small hearing aid fitted for one ear in Korea some years ago, but the feedback from the unit bothered him and caused him to refrain from using it. As his hearing continued to deteriorate, I searched online for an audiologist in Flushing and came across Winnie Feng's impeccable reviews. We were very pleased to learn, firsthand, that they were absolutely valid! The office is located near the corner where Chase bank is off of Main Street in downtown Flushing, across from Queens Crossing and the main municipal parking lot. From her professional receptionist, Doris, to Winnie's kind bedside manner, my father and I both felt very comfortable from the moment we stepped into the sunny office. There was a bit of a wait, but I quickly realized that it was because Winnie took her time with each patient and never rushed them out, as many in the medical field do. I had to translate for my father, but the process went very smoothly. Based on the in-office hearing tests, Dr. Feng assessed that my father had been fitted with the wrong type of earpiece. She said based on his needs, he actually required two external earpieces (instead of the single insert prescribed to him in Korea) and recommended several models. She considered my father's hair, glasses and skin tone and advised us as to which would be most flattering. She also patiently answered all our questions and concerns and made lively small talk during our time there. It was refreshing to be able to see a medical professional and not feel pressured to leave right away. We appreciated being treated and respected as people, instead of being dehumanized. She made molds of my father's ears and said that the hearing aids would be ready within two weeks. As promised, we were back in the office in two weeks. The new devices fit my father perfectly and looked practically invisible from most angles. Dr. Feng gave us an overview for usage and helped to program the different volume levels. An interesting added feature was that she was able to program the voice prompts emitted from the hearing aids to speak in Korean. It also reminds my father as to when the batteries are low and require changing. The most important result has been the fact that my father always wears his new hearing aids now and is actually happy with them. There is no feedback as the doctor promised, plus they have helped him to communicate more efficiently with my mother. Definitely a big plus! Dr.Ho was just great! One of my hearing aids broke on a Saturday PM. I called 10 audiology offices in manhattan and they all were closed. I was desperate as we had theatre tickets that nite. I searched and found NY Audiology which was open and had the replacement part. I took a 45 min subway ride to Flushing. The waiting room was packed. I told the receptionist I had to get back for a theatre curtain time. Dr. Ho took me out of turn, diagnosed the problem immediately, attached a temporary part in the aid, and gave me a packet of 10 more pieces. I insisted on paying But she said I didn't owe anything. My father has purchased a pair of hearing aid from Dr. Feng 5 years ago, and every time he needs adjustment, she was always very patient. Dr. Feng listens to your concerns and takes the time to answers your questions and explains everything. She tries to adjust his hearing aid accordingly to his needs and also very reassuring. I like that she always encourages him to see her regularly to prevent any issues with his hearing or hearing aid.
