She is super informed, extremely polite and customer oriented, the office is very well equipped, and the location is great; central in RI. Covid interrupted our process from testing, to fitting for new aids, and in the meantime my mom suffered some catastrophic loss in one ear. After Dr. Pulio made an MRI referral, we figured out the problem, and Dr. Pulio figured out the solution. She recommended a hearing aid in one ear, and transmitter in the "deaf" ear, so when a person is speaking on that side, it transmits it to the other ear, so as not to startle her. Its fantastic and works great. We travel a lot, so Doc showed us options for portable earbud charging & storage device, so she will never be without hearing on the road. Again, very thorough and very professional. We also found her pricing to be very competitive and under most others, and loaded with included services, warranties and free follow-up meetings. Highly recommend Dr. Holly Pulio at Gateway Hearing! World class! Top Notch!

The connectivity with the Bluetooth iPhone and car was complex but Margo had all the answers with every visit. See listened to all the concerns and had and answer to everything. When she didn't have the answer she was on the phone with the manufacturer and had the solution within minutes. Super smart and very personable. Scott at the front desk was an advocate for insurance and went out of his way to make sure you were please with your product or your money back. Joanne Perry, the therapist, is extraordinary and has treated me with the utmost care and respect for my concerns. And Dr. Ramacki - the best! I have to say first, Dr. Jan Groblewski is an amazing pediatric ENT. When he saw my child and…read morediagnosed him, he took the time to look right into his and gently explain what was happening, what needed to be and then, immediately started to reassure him that everything was ok, and that he would be ok. Prior to the surgery, he stopped to check in, and post surgery he personally came to tell me everything went well- 5 GOLD STARS!! Unfortunately, I believe the physicians are completely unaware of the fact that their pm- AMBER COMFORTI is putting the practice and their licenses at risk. She canceled my sons already scheduled surgery, in retaliation to me. Yes. She then stated, that "I already spoke to Dr.G and he said your sons case is non-urgent, and his surgery is elective!" How can a surgery for tube placement and myringotomy be elective? The child has been suffering from hearing loss and pain for over 6 months! What kind of person, goes after a pediatric patient because she wants revenge against the mother?? How is this ethical or moral? His discharge letter started with, "Since you are unhappy..." I told her the doctors were wonderful, and I completely trusted them to care for my child. Yes, I was unhappy, with HER and ONLY HER; that is not a reason to cancel a child's surgery. In addition to her discharge letter, she attached a letter she has to, by law, that states the child can be seen for emergency visits until July 3rd. I tried to make and emergency visit, and the scheduler said, "I'm sorry, it looks like he's been discharged"...as soon as she said that, I received an email from the dangerous and unethical Comforti, that stated, "Your son has been discharged! We will not see him, stop calling." When I asked my sons pediatrician to reach out to the ENT (because I simply do not belief Dr. Jan would have ever said that)- The pedi did call, and rather than being connected with Dr. Groblewski, Amber Comforti stated to another DOCTOR, that she could not speak to Dr. Groblewski, the patient was discharged, and she has a "legal team". I am RN and have worked in health care for over 15 years. NEVER have I seen a practice manager tell another physician, that they would not connect them to whatever specialist. It's absolutely unheard of, and I think because they're so busy- the physicians have no idea what she's doing. Patients beware. I have read numerous reviews that if AMBER COMFORTI doesn't like you, she discharges you as a patient. That's how she handles conflict, she makes you disappear.

Waited over 30 minutes with them holding control of my ID and my Insurance card until I left. Was talked down to by EVERYONE! The Audiologist was beyond rude her facial expressions were that I was a bother to her. She was very forceful during the hearing test telling my my earring were in the way and yanking on my earrings and my ear. Even so far as to push on my earring and getting the equipment tangled into my earrings (I have no clue how she did it) my ears continued to hurt badly for over an hour after being manhandled by her. Nothing was explained clearly or well! After her rude hearing test where she actually accused me of pretending not to hear what she said to me, she was rather rude and forceful with removing me from the room. I was lead to the exam room and it was changed 2 times, while I understand that it was the manner in which it was done, I was accused of not listening to directions when the lady who led me there pointed to the room. Once I got to meet with the doctor I felt cold and off put right away. He was rude, and was pushing to get the appointment done fast. He didn't answer any questions and when I asked him to repeat himself every time he huffed as if it was a pain and would yell, not helping that I couldn't understand him clearly. He also mocked previous diagnosis putting them in air-quotes telling me I was seeking attention. While I get the requirements for COVID, this office deals with hearing loss I expected some form of accommodation no sign language was used and multiple levels of masks none with clear mouths so the individuals were muffled and I couldn't lip read. I cannot say enough horrible things about this office and those in there. I was told to make a follow up appointment and instead I walked out and called my doctor telling them I will never go back. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!
