I have been doing business with Gateway Hearing for 5 years. I have always experienced great…read moreservice from the days when Bob Gould was the principal, and now have found Holly Puleo has taken over and maintained or even improved the level of quality service. After four years of excellent service from Gateway with Oticon hearing aids, I decided to purchase a new set of high-end Signia hearing aids a month ago. Holly did a great job explaining the advanced features of my new hearing aids, did a great job of customizing them up for my hearing loss needs, and gave me a free trial period which quickly convinced me to purchase them. I have been amazed at how much they have improved my hearing! The greatest improvement is in the way they seem to automatically respond to ambient conditions, from quiet listening, to noisy restaurant environments. I can hear people abound me with vastly improved fidelity, without needing to fiddle with settings manually! They easily inductively recharge in a convenient stand each night, and no batteries are required. As an extra, I purchased the blue-tooth connect feature which allows me to have a much clearer listening experience to TV, while being able to listen to a program privately without disturbing others in the room.

Dr K is wonderful! She is wonderful with the kids and has a great personality. She explained…read moreeverything that was going on to my son, and made the whole experience well worth our visit. I give her a 10 star. The two window 'receptionist' on the other hand I give a 0 (zero). At check-in I noticed a misspelling in our street name. When I told her about it, she never made the correction. (The doctor's assistant actually made the correction). After the appointment, the only reason that in approached the counter was to get a doctor's excuse for the visit. I asked the young lady for Doctor note. After searching for ever she told us that we had a copay. Not a problem but you would think to ask for copay before appointment. I told her that had we not needed a doctors note to get back to school today, I would not have stopped at the window. After paying, she asked if I needed a doctors note. When I told her that that's why we stopped at the window and that was my original request, she said 'so, let me know if we have an attitude. Because that sign (posted on their window) says that we are understaffed and we are not taking attitude from anyone.' At that point I stopped and said, 'thank you. I need a doctors note so he can go back to school.' She printed out the note and we ran off to get my son back to classes. Before giving my son the note to take into school, the note allows him to go back to school tomorrow. Not only are these young ladies incompetent, but they are rude. The doctor is excellent, but the window receptionists need an attitude adjustment.

Then had to reschedule appointment. On hold for 35 minutes, got an idiot who insisted I needed to see a doctor first. Finally got them to understand I needed my normal six month hearing aid adjustment. So, they connected me to a voice mail, out of office. Go anywhere else, they are impossible to deal with! Oh, and I see doctor once a year, spends 5 minutes with me, looks in my ears, teaks me I'm ok, charges $25 copay and hundreds to insurance.
