My wife and i are both very active seniors (55 & 60)...surfing, biking, running, hiking, and both are competitive. We tend to push our bodies and are often sore. Regular yoga helps us a lot, but we started doing weekly 1 to 1.5 hr massages by Kai (& Nina) and have been going now to them for several years. We go for the deep tissue massages, and they know how to get in there and break up the knots, and allow us to keep up what we love to do. We've been to many massage therapists over the years, and Kai knows her sports therapy work very well. She can find the areas that need working out and work on those areas. They are small girls, but its amazing how strong they are, and i often have to ask them to lighten up a bit when when im overly sore. You will not be disappointed, if they can fit you into their busy schedule. read more

Kai is amazing and also very sweet. I had what's called a Frozen Shoulder, it's when the muscles seizes up and lose range of motion. It's pretty painful when they happen so I needed a good Massage therapist who would know how to fix the problem. I did my research and came across Healing by Kai and liked what I read. I called her, no answer but she called back right away! I was able to book a last minute appointment with her that same day, she was very welcoming. The layout of the office and the rooms were very clean and tranquil. Anyways, she was able to find the knots and tightness in my back/shoulder area, she really focused on the specific area so to make a long story short, I was able to regain range of motion back an hour later.
