My regular therapist was taking some time away from working due to some personal health issues. I had recently tweaked my calf and was in dire need of some bodywork! I was stressed trying to find someone who could work on my knots and relieve the pain. Yelp has always helped find a great resource in the past and this was no exception. I found Claudia here on Yelp and she was a total blessing. Her studio is comfortable and clean. I explained what my body had been going through and she quickly threw out some suggestions as she started to get to work. She found some trouble spots right away and really worked on them. It was sort of that pleasurable pain that comes with muscle tissue. As it's worked on, it can be a bit painful. However, after it is worked on, it feels 110% better. That was truly the case here. I mentioned that if she found additional spots to kneed out, to please keep going. She certainly found and kept going! Definitely longer than your usual session, but OH SO WORTH IT! Claudia is a natural. I have various injuries and ailments, and whenever I get a massage from her, she knows what to work on instinctively. I go from stressed out and in pain to chilled out and feeling comfortable in my body. She has really good energy; I felt immediately relaxed with her the first time I met her. I've been seeing Claudia for at least 3 years now and I can confidently say she is the best it gets! Ive had moderate/severe scoliosis and have been getting treatment in Minnesota for 8 years. I am also an athlete and the combination of my structure and activity has led me to have back pain over the years. Claudia has improved my back pain exponentially. I have been receiving treatments from Claudia for a couple of years now and she is simply put, AWESOME. Her dedication to her craft shows in each and every session because she continues to educate herself to acquire more skills so that she can provide the most beneficial treatments for her clients. This, combined with an intuitive and empathetic gift, allow her to tailor her therapies to what you need most in that moment. She recently started to offer cupping, which I was hesitant about at first because I had never received it, but we tried it in my last session and I loved it. Between her hands-on deep tissue and fascia work, and the cupping, I experienced some deep release of nagging tension. I am so grateful for her. She is a true healer who I highly recommend. Claudia is a miracle worker. She's an intuit when it comes to the body. I'm a physically active person outside of work hours, but sit at a desk for work. This combo always leaves me with some pains. Everything from a tight neck and shoulders to tight foot arches and IT bands. Claudia treated it all with a graceful power that left me walking away from each session feeling like I was floating. My neck and shoulder tightness was my biggest chronic issue. And just over 3 sessions claudia has practically eliminated the tightness and pain. I'm a huge believer in traditional medicine so when I started feeling severe lower back pain a couple weeks ago I visited my primary care physician. He prescribed me Naproxen, which is an anti-inflammatory drug. He didn't really tell me much other than "you seem to have muscle strain, take this for two weeks and come back." I left pretty disillusioned bc there was no explanation, no real questions, I felt like I was just given a "shut up take this pill" bandaid. I told a friend about my experience and he immediately set up an appointment for me with Claudia. I had heard him rave about her before so I was open and excited for this potential new healing method. That same night I visited Claudia at her studio and the experience was phenomenal. Disclaimer: I also strongly believe in non traditional medicine and that's why I was so open to receiving her healing. 1. Claudia is devoted to healing you. She assessed by asking questions, feeling my pain out, reacting to my reactions. She also gave me advice on what I should do at home to prevent future severe back discomfort. 2. Claudia moves energy, this is her gift. Every touch she gives is intentional, she knows where, how and when to move your body's energy. This is really the biggest proof of her being the best mix of traditional and non-traditional healing. The muscle tissue in your body has a lot of nerves so she knows exactly where to touch and how to touch in order to move your body's energy and give healing. 3. Claudia serves out of pure love. She shared a little about her story with me and she was heartfelt, vulnerable, and open the way she hoped I would be if I wanted to be healed.
